I want to tell you thank you for having these tutorials. Before I found you I was really struggling with watercolor painting. In the short time I've been watching you I've learned so much. I realize you could've charged a lot for these classes, but you didn't. I'm a disabled vet on a very small fixed income. Just trying to make ends meet is a struggle so I wouldn't have been able to pay for classes. Listening and painting along with you has helped me with my PTSD. I can't thank you enough. May God bless and keep you always.
❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so much for sharing. I am honored to help bring some peace in your life with these videos and help you on your watercolor journey. And thank you for everything you've done in your service. Take care!!
Jenna - I would absolutely love to be able to paint sweet peas! My mom passed a way when I was 8 (I am now 69!) and I remember her beautiful sweet peas. Memories of a child but they have never changed.
Love that and how that flower gives you that memory. ❤️❤️
This is the second video I have played for residents of the retirement community where I work. They love it and feel like it is easy to follow and you explain things so well. Your positive attitude and fun are infectious. I look forward to learning more form you. Thank you!
Thank you! I am painting a wedding bouquet for a friend and this tutorial has been very helpful! It has blue hydrangeas in it! I so appreciate your talents and that you share them here!
I would Love loose petal flowers, more abstract. I love what you bring to your viewers. Thank you Jeanna! 💖
I’m so glad you asked. I live in New Mexico and paint a lot of cactus flowers especially prickly pears. I’m going to use your poppy and peony videos and try your methods on the prickly pear. I also do a lot of those deep red ones which I can’t remember the name of right now. As far as what I like about your tutorials is number one you make it seem very simple and number two you constantly repeat and cement the important ideas in my mind. I just started watching you a few days ago and am so happy to have found you. I have wondered how you went about getting your first commercial job.
Oh Jenna, you are just too cute 'n sweet! I happen to consider Hydrangeas one of my MOST favourite flowers on the planet ... they're just the prettiest little ball of "HAPPY!" ... and as a west-coaster, I MISS them terribly, living here on the Canadian Prairies, but I still paint them and the blue ones are my favourite too! You just made my day!! Happy summer in sunny California and stay well. Thank you so much for your giving heart and sharing your talent & passion with all of out here in RUclips land!! ☀️
Aw Geraldine, thank you so much! How sweet of you!! I'm glad I painted your most favorite flower!! ❤️❤️
Getting better at this every day thanks to your encouragement!
I'm always amazed of how quickly you switch between different shades and values. I always struggle with that
Thank you Jenna! Roses!
💕💕
more people need to have your out look on life.thanx.we need it now more then ever.we go green on friday.huggs
Aw thanks Barbie, I appreciate you!
Dear Jenna, I've been able to reach the flow-state so nicely with this tutorial! I love your calm, quirky commentary, the music and of course the flower. Thank you so much, this has been the highlight of my day!
Wonderful! Thanks for sharing Cordee! ❤️
Thankyou so much for your generosity. You are making the world a better place. I love the way you explain how to play/ paint. Fiona
Thank you so much Fiona! ❤️❤️

So beautiful!! love the way you break it all down and build it for us! thank you!!!!
My favorite flower ! Thank you!!!
You’re welcome 😊❤️
Hydrangea is one of my favorite flowers. Love this tutorial, just like all the others which I have watched over and over. You’ll always learn something. Love your style.
Just magic 💙
❤️ ❤️
Jenna, you are the best. I appreciate your calligraphy, especially metal nib, instruction. I also appreciate that you simplify watercolor techniques. Thank you.
Aw thanks Kathleen! I’m so happy to hear my instructions are helpful for you! ❤️
This was so much fun! Jenna makes the process fun and includes concise and logical explanations that make art accessible for all!
Jenna, I’ve recently started painting with Watercolors....I’m not a painter! You make things so much easier to try! Thanks from the bottom of my ❤️!
You’re so welcome, Kat! Enjoy your painting!
Hi Jenna. I love your tutorials! I am a former art teacher. I have recently retired and finally have time to get back into my painting. I am reteaching myself. Your tutorials are so helpful. Thank you! I have set myself on a mission to paint three different flowers for my future grand baby's room. I would like to paint a pinkish purple allium. It seems kind of related to the hydrangea, but with different shaped tiny petals. I would like to see a tutorial from you on how to paint this flower. Thanks again!
V beautifully painted and love the calming music in the background..I am going to paint this now, really missed you in the last few weeks
Aw thanks Shreya! ❤️❤️ Have fun painting!
Excellent demo tutorial, soft and subtle brush strokes, giving a beautiful end result
WOW! What a great video! I am so pleased with how mine came out! Thanks Jenna!
I ❤️Hydrangeas, this was a great tutorial. I have finally made some muscle memory and realised it is how you angle the brush and the movement that creates the petals and leaves. Now my little petals don’t look like smudges anymore 😆 Thanks for your inspiration and great videos 🙏🏻
Hello Jenna. So glad I found you. I will be practicing every one of your videos. Thanks so much for sharing your talent and content!
You are so welcome! ❤️
Sorry for those who can’t share for free, lucky for us that You share, love You for that. Thank You
❤️❤️❤️
Hi Jenna! I just discovered your tutorials yesterday and I want to tell you what a breath of fresh air you are. Your teaching style is clear and concise, and your personality is so approachable and goofy in the best possible way! I just posted a Kurt Vonnegut quote about being creative and making something every day. We all need a better world right now and I am so looking forward to expanding my daily creative repertoire using your methods and videos. Thanks for the inspiration.
Loose little cabbage rose would be nice! Love the videos ❣️
Plumerias would be fun to see. 😊
Definitely! Thanks!
Thanks for watching! If you liked it, let me know -- I LOVE hearing from you all. Also, I am always taking suggestions for which flower to teach next, leave your thoughts in the comments below. Happy painting! xoxo
I really enjoy your teaching. So articulate and easy to grasp. Love it. Thank you
Thank you for keeping free tutorials I literally currently can't buy them currently, but I will get your book later in the year.
It’s totally worth the $$ . She also recommenders some expensive supplies, which I had to save up for. If nothing else get the paper she uses. CansonXL is not your friend. I wish I’d known that a while ago.
@@cmrobinsDJ I use arches and excellent watercolor paint. I just can't afford to buy the tutorials so I was thanking her for making them available on youtube, I definitly will be loyal to her when the money comes.
Aw well thank you for watching and for your support! ❤️ ❤️
It's hydrangea season here where I live. The annual hydrangea festival held locally has been canceled for 2020. All of our lives have been affected this year in more than one way. Thank you for your inspiring watercolor!
Thanks for sharing. It's been a tough year, I'm glad I could share this video for you!
Jenna, thank you💛
❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Great tutorial Jenna, many thanks,
You’re welcome Chris! 😊
So helpful!! My first hydrangea ❤
Thanks! I painted along. I am new to watercolor, and I struggle with the more abstract flowers.
Beautiful! Hydrangeas are in almost every garden this side of the world. Thank you for another fun tutorial. Reminds me of the anemone, I’d love to see more blue flower tutorials.. blue flowers are just as beautiful as pink and red ones
Aw thanks love! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ I'd love to paint more blue flowers!! 😊
Beautiful! I can plainly see where you borrow your painting techniques from. Very cool!
Thanks Lauren! ❤️
Beautiful work! Thank you!

Aw I am so glad it's appreciated, Marie, thank you for sharing! ❤️❤️
I’ve been waiting for this all day ☀️ highlight of my Saturday.
Hope you guys are settling in nicely in the new house 🏡
Ps. Is this the last tutorial video in the old studio, the new owners don’t know how famous this spot is 🎨 👩🎨 🎥
We are settling in, we love our new place thanks for commenting on that! ❤️ And YES, that was the very last one in the old place. Now we're figuring out our new set-up at the new place! Fun, fun!
Daffodil. Love your tutorials!
Thank you Jenna! I love this. I did a drawing of my hydrangea the other day. Now I'll try a little paint.
I have just started my watercolour journey with you and love your tutorials. I feel like you are sitting in the chair next to me and especially appreciate how you teach how to do the stroke. I would love a small pond, waterlilies with a gold fish tutorial. Thank you for your expert attention to detail. Ali
Thank you for the videos! I'm just finding your channel and watching through old tutorials. I would love to see a magnolia flower tutorial. Thanks :)
I love all your videos.. This was very relaxing to paint.
Love how this came out. Thank you for explaining these as you painted. Very helpful. I would love to see a tutorial on an Iris.
Thank you Debbie!
Liked the fresh looseness of the hydrangea.
Thanks Alexandra!
I love watching you paint!! I'm starting to become more aware of hue and value scale in a piece but I'm a long way from truly understanding it fully. Lilacs are my favorite flowers it would be fun to see how you paint them!!!
Oh Lilac! Lovely!! I'm so glad you love my videos, thanks for watching! ❤️❤️
Hi I really enjoyed doing this flower! I would like to see next how to watercolor paint an orchid! :)
Love this tutorial 💕🧡
Thanks so much for making the videos. I want to paint but can’t afford lessons. Much appreciated 👍🏻🌹

Yea!! Good to see you back. Great tutorial. Thanks. Can you paint a Peony for us someday?
Yay, glad to be back, Cindy! I actually have a peony tutorial from way back -- it's a bit of an older one for me at this point, but check this one out: ruclips.net/video/Qr93pkREHXQ/видео.html
@@JennaRaineyChannel Ok cool! I'll look at it.
Amazing just like you ✨✨✨💜💙💛💚🖤
Aw thanks! ❤️ ❤️
I realize that this is an old tutorial, but I wanted to let you know that the individual florets have FOUR petals, not five. I mean this with all due respect. I love your tutorials! Thank you so much,
I painted along with you with lots of pauses and repeats and ended up with a hydrangea that I like. I always learn so much from you! Thanks so much. I would love a tutorial on sweet pea flowers.
Thanks for watching and for your suggestion! Glad to hear you had fun painting along, Norene! ❤️
Another well done tutorial - thanks, Jenna. You’ve covered my most fave flowers; I’d love to see a tutorial on plumeria.
Thank you so much love this video already painting it welcome back.
You are so welcome
Ooo I love hydrangeas! Thank you for sharing
You are so welcome! ❤️

Waouw! This je just wonderful. Thank you so much for showing, and for your explenations !💖🎀
❤️❤️
Love this! 💕 Thank you! Watched your favorite supplies last night. Working on getting the 12 colors.. 😁
Thank you!! I hope you love all those colors when you get them! ❤️
Thanks Friend great and soothing to watch !! :)
Glad you enjoyed it ❤️
I would love to see orchid tutorial! 😍
Orchid would be fun!! Thanks for sharing!
@@JennaRaineyChannel My please! ❤
I love love love hydrangeas. Childhood memory of 2 bushes that's covered in HUGE blooms. (in CA btw) Not the newer varieties. Just the original hydrangeas with enormous clusters. Then the Bush itself was a cluster in itself covered top to bottom. (the blue variety) GORGEOUS!! 😍😍 I'd pay good money to have just 1 of those bushes that bloomed prolifically as that one did. It was at a rental house. No one had taken particular care of it.
Enough already.🤫 🤭 😆🤣
Aw thanks so much for sharing, Frieda! ❤️❤️
@@JennaRaineyChannel Got a bit too carried away. Overshare!!
I absolutely LOVE these tutorials. I’m a beginner when it comes to watercolor & I have learned so much from your channel & book. Thank you both for all the time and effort put in to making these videos.
I have some gorgeous orange hibiscus flowers just blooming and would love to learn how to paint them. Thank you again. 😊
I've been following her channel for a while and she teaches me a lot!
Thanks so much!! I really appreciate the love and support!! ❤️❤️
Lovely tutorial. Zinnias! And snapdragons.
Love it, thanks Catherine!
That’s really pretty 🌷🌷🌷
Thank you! 😊❤️
Ayeeeeeeeee like it! Thank you! 😃
So pretty! This basic petal technique is so versatile, isn't it? Thank you for sharing!
It is SO versatile, yes!
Lovely video. I definitely need to check out the leaves one next! 🤦🏻♀️ but my hydrangea turned out lovely. A hollyhock, a nasturtium with its bright green leaves would be fun, or a crocus / hyacinth for spring could be fun to learn too. Thanks for all your great videos!
Thanks for watching! I'm so glad you enjoyed! ❤️
Thank you for the art you share. I did buy your book already, so I feel your youtube tutorials help support your book and vise verses. Thank you so much. I would love a tutorial of your peony on the front cover of “Everyday Watercolor Flowers”, which unfortunately is not covered in the book. The book is great otherwise. Again thank you so much. 💕
Loved the " speech"... Thumbs up...!
The watercolor was a delight to watch... Just subscribed... :)
Would love to see how you make sunflowers.. 😊🌻
Great suggestion! If you missed the "10 Flowers" vid, I do a simple sunflower in there, but would love to do a full tutorial on them soon! Here's 10 Flowers link: ruclips.net/video/NcRLrNVrfMM/видео.html
Thank you for sharing & teaching. I am learning a lot from you. Bought 3 brushes u recommended - soooo glad I did so much easier to paint w/them (Princeton Heritage)
Wonderful! So glad to hear this!!
i love all your tutorials and owned all your watercolour book. cant wait for your next book launch. May i suggest to see rafflesia watercolour painting? It's kinda rare flower in the world and i think it's a special flower.
HI Jenna, do you have any suggestions for left-handed people? I totally enjoy your watercolor video. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us.
Hi. I enjoy your videos and I have learned a lot. I haven’t seen them all so not sure if you have covered this, but I struggle with white flowers. I would love some tips. Thank you 😊
So lovely :)
Thank you! 😊
Thank you for your tutorial. I’ve tried painting the hydrangea many times, but hadn’t been satisfied with the results. This simple design is perfect. I’m going to try painting a few close together see how I do with your technique. Your instructions are clear and easy to follow. Have you instructions on painting the iris?
Thank you for sharing this tutorial, my mom loves ❤ hydrangeas so I am going to give this a whirl. Probably a few times to get the technique down. 😳
Have fun!!
Love all your tutorials! Would you please paint cyclamen flower? PLEASE‼️
Great suggestion! Thanks Christie!!
You very well..And very nice
Thank you so much 😀
Thank you Jenna.
Have you posted nasturtiums yet? Would love to try them❤
Thank you so much for these tutorials. May you, please, give another about Geranium, or crane's-bill? in Spain it's more usual have a lot of them and I love it very much.
This is great ^_^ painted along on a smaller scale in my lil 6x6 Hahnemuhle cold pressed watercolor notebook and actually like the result..Could you be...Actually...Making me want to try loose again after giving up on it months ago?
Hi
I just love the way you teach!
I started painting two months ago and play with paint everyday. I’m really surprised cat the way it’s all coming together , especially from your books . Painted some friendly chickens tonight !!!!
Could you do some more cats please and also mice . Thank you xx
Diane Antone videos has watercolor cats!!!
Love this! You are exactly the channel I was looking for!! This is not a flower suggestion but do you ever do patterns like beetles, moths, or other insects? I’d love to see something like that.
I'm SO glad you found my channel Ungria!! Thanks for watching and sharing your excitement. And that is a great tutorial suggestion! ❤️
Jenna Rainey ❤️❤️❤️❤️
You haven't posted in a while... So happy to hear from you again! I love how you call us friends! Do you have any children? Trying understand your shirt. Enjoy your day!
The shirt says 👚 “don’t mess with mama” and yup they have a baby boy 👶🏼 (if you have Instagram, Jenna always posts cute pics of him)
I knew that they had a baby boy, I was wondering if the fact that she is wearing this shirt in all of her recent tutorials was maybe a hint at a sibling on the way.....
@@Kimmaline Oh that would be exciting! Jenna Rainey, I wish that you would show your child. An idea for including him would be maybe a mother-son art video... Are you having another baby???
I DO consider you all my friends! 😊 And yes, I have a little baby boy. Have a good day! ❤️ ❤️
