Thank you for these videos. They help men out too.
I’m missing basketball today to do something towards my business and spend time with my nephew and sisters.

As a working mom, FOMO seems to no longer apply to my social life as far as missing parties or having first dibs on the latest techs. However, it most certainly applies to being a mother and having that want or need to be present at every school event or every game that he/she has scheduled. It's just as severe.....lol! Any advice for a mom with this type FOMO?
Hope you're having a great Thursday!

aliciaandnoah You have made my day with this comment! It is SO true! There's TOTALLY FOMO in the Mom world as well! FOMO relates to anything that makes us live in the fear we are missing out on "something."
However, if it relates to not missing your kids events, I think it has little to do with a "fear" and more to do with wanting to be a supportive mommy. Which is a beautiful thing... UNLESS you are doing it for the WRONG reasons, which I do see too.
I see some parents competing for the "parent of the year" award and feel that being the BEST parent means out doing OTHER parents by going to every imaginable school event for their kids haha! That is entirely different. But if you are going to show love and to see your child smile and be happy, then there is nothing wrong with that mama bear!
Everything we do in life, we must first ask WHY we are doing it. If it's just serving our ego, then we need to stop doing it. If we do it to feel more love and to GIVE more love... then KEEP ON DOING IT!
Sending my love to you! Thank you for being a light to this world XO

For me, It's all out of love :)
On the flip side, that aim to become Parent of the Year are for those parents who are still seeking the upmost social recognition, but I see no real reward in that aim! I would rather win my child's parent of the year award directly from them. Hugs and kisses are thee best
