Great video and great playing! I’ll have to try an 88mm pick

I always love the 50mm I feel like anything more than 60mm is just to hard and stiff

I like 50mm for smooth or funky rhythm guitar where I want the dynamics to stay very even...I believe Nile Rodgers from Chic usually used a tortex 50mm! It gives lead guitar a very gentle attack IMO, great for recording sometimes.
I like the 60mm too though, that's what Eddie Van Halen used! It adds a noticeable "snap" to the attack, and is just thick enough to be used for fast alternate picking without feeling too flimsy, but thin enough to provide clarity when playing rhythm guitar with such a heavy sound like Eddie had (because even though his sound was often relatively low gain, he still had everything cranked- bass, mids and treble all cooking hot).

@@LandonEaversMusic great explanation I totally agree. And I’m glad I naturally used something like the greats. Tortex is definitely my go to

Youre really good id love to see you shred like that on an electric, also you hit a pinch harmonic on an acoustic wtf!!

Haha thanks! Eric Johnson & Billy Gibbons are 2 of my biggest heros- they can hit a pinch harmonic on anything!
