There are a lot of videos of the Linear Actuators used in these applications failing in a short time. I like that you attached this actuator with the motor up as I think the failures happen due to water sliding down the shaft. Your way keeps water out.

Yes, I mounted this one with the motor up for that exact reason. It's supposed to be the other way. In my controller, up is down and down is up now lol.

If you were looking for a wider snow clearing path, just add wider deflectors on the auger housing on each side. I did that to my Toro blower and I went from a 24" wide path to a 28" path now. It takes less passes to clear the driveway.

Thanks for the review on the machine! Can't wait to see a follow up video on your experience with it in the snow!

you can extend wings if needed to make it wider.

I don't see any extension wings available. It would have to be a custom job. At that point...it's cheaper to just sell it and get the next size up. Plus, these Woodmaxx blowers are extremely heavy for their size. I wouldn't want it to be any heavier on the 1025R.

After all that snow last winter, how did the blower work? Any issues with the deflection linear actuator?

It’s works good. I do have an issue with the electric rotator over rotating. It’s not braking like it used to.

Hey there charlie, howz this ting working in the 5ft of snow?

It works pretty amazing in deep snow. It’s difficult at first. I need enough room to be able to turn around and knock snow down with the FEL. Then I turn around and blow it with the snowblower. It’s well matched to the 1025R

Where did you draw your power from?

From battery to a distribution block with its own switch panel. There is a video about it on my channel

Do you know of a joystick that would be in place of the switch. Asking because I want to do this project with an electric actuator for the shoot deflector. Up/down for that and left/right for the directional motor

I do not. They also make a hydraulic kit that you could set up to a set of control valves.

hey, mine just showed up today, and the connectors for the electric are catawampus. i have 2 male and 2 female housings, but 1 male and 3 female pin/socket sets. now i'm concerned that all of it is messed up. which colors on the controller go to which motor on the blower? Thanks. I actually have the same kind of connectors (somewhere) so i can re-pin as needed, but the colors don't match, and the connectors don't match :(

ok, buzzed it out, found my connectors, made the swap. P.I.T.A though. gave it a quick test. works great.

@@nfisheremti awesome! Glad you were able to work that out. Mine had zero connector issues out of the box.

I just tell my wife to "hold my beer". No cup holders needed.

@@DemoDad101 you could have asked your tractor to hold your beer though. I think that would be much more meaningful.
