- Enjoy this tour and test drive of my mom's 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan! I know it's not really my best, this one was done back on iMovie as one of my earlier car tours, as was with the 328i. The tour was filmed in April 2018 and the test drive was filmed in January 2018. I just edited a few parts in Final Cut. This video might seem a little rushed because I had to go back to school the day I filmed it and she was getting the new car while I was there. I did the best I can, so some shots weren't included.
Very nice and comprehensive tour! I'm thinking of buying a pre-owned 2016 Tiguan so this was really helpful in learning more about the car before purchasing. Thanks!

At 2:20-2:30 you say that it comes with a dual clutch (DSG) transmission. This is incorrect. It has a traditional 6-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic®.

I have had an S version of this car and it has given me zero probldms. Bought it new in 2016 Still on ofiginal brakes.
Does the map works without internet? And does it update for free, using internet?
No, you don't need internet for the map. The data for it was provided to us from an SD card the dealership gave us. I'm not entirely sure of all of it and how it updates since we haven't had the car for almost a year now.

Does anyone know if this model has Apple CarPlay
It supports Apple Carplay.
Android auto and Apple carplay come standard in every car. With a stereo.
If you want AWD you will want 4motion. Same system as Audi quattro.
Does this trim have the fender sound system?
It did not. I believe you had to upgrade to the R-Line model to get the Fender sound system as an option.
