I have identical twin nieces. Baby A was 3 pds 2 ozs. Baby B was 3 pds 1 oz. I always had a hard time trying to telling them apart. Baby B had a hernia and that was one of the only ways I could tell them apart. They were 2 months premature. Baby A just recently got married in December 30 th 2023. Her husband is also an identical twin too. The twins stood up for each other. We have strong twin genes in all the families. So people think they will have twins too when they are ready to start their family. So glad to have you both here. Your mom is a sweet lady.

That explains it all! I have always seen a difference between those 2 and knew there must have been some twin to twin happening but that didn't really explain Boston's neck and shoulders. Thanks for answering a long burning question that I didn't want to be rude and ask. Both boys are good looking normal looking boys

I loves hearing your birth story. As a mom and a fellow preemie (although not a twin), I can appreciate high risk pregnancies and crazy births. My mom was visiting her mom in rural Utah about 30 minutes from our home. All if a sudden her labor started. They weren't able to stop it. I was deliverrd at the hospital near my grandma. I wasnt breathing, so the doctor gavw me mouth toouth right then. My mom said he didnt even take the time to wipe me off. I was 3 months premature before they counted it in weeks (so I could be 2 1/2 months early). I weighed 2 lbs and 13 oz. I was flown out to the Univwrsity of Utah hospital where I stayed for 5 weeks. A miracle too! I am grateful for the name and blessing my dad gave me before being lifelighted out. My mom found out what my name was later. 😊

I didn't have twins but my sons birth story sounds so much like yours. I had a miscarriage, then our daughter, then two more miscarriages, and then our son. When we found out I was pregnant with him it was scary. I started shooting and cramping. They did the ultrasound and said, sac but no baby. They wanted to do a D&C but I said, no if I lose it or will happen naturally. A week later I went back, they did the ultrasound, and they found a heartbeat. So we knew when he should be born. A few days later spotting and cramping started. They checked everything was still on but I was put on bedrest with a three year old who was diagnosed at 5 with severe ADHD. I stayed on bedrest the whole time because of blood pressure issues. They did monthly ultrasounds and I was on special diet because of gestational diabetes. His due date was Jan 8th changed to Jan 6th because of his size. December 11th I went in and they decided to go ahead and do an emergency c-section because of his size, plus my stretch marks were opening. He was born in December 12th 25 days early. He weighed 12.8 pounds and was 22 and 3/4 inches. His head was on my ribcage the whole time. His face was all swollen. He was classified as a premie but his nickname was "Little Hoss" because of his size. He was breastfeed but we had to supplement because he wasn't getting enough. He would drink two bottles of formula at one sitting. At for days old when we were leaving he weighed 13.15 pounds, one ounce sorry if 14lbs. I couldn't hold my baby until he was 7 weeks because of complications from c-section. Family would come over when my husband was at work to help me. My husband would change him before work and put him in the middle of the bed and that was how I fed him. At 6 weeks they said to stop feeding him so much and to put him on a diet, he was 21.2lbs. How do you put a nursing baby on a diet. Today he is 6'4" and 325lbs. He does have some problems with asthma and neck issues that have been with him his whole life. Mine needed to be twins. I gained 18lbs but lost 39lbs a week after he was born. The nurse asked how I did that and I had made the record for the highest weight lost after birth. Then she went out to the car and saw my baby. She changed her mind. Today I have hip issues they say from him because he was laying in that hip.

I had the same issues 33 years ago have identical twin boys. Sadly one of them didn't make it but being identical I will always know what he would have looked like
God definitely had his hand on you guys and has a special plan for you guys,who knows someday you guys might become preachers. I had problems as well and have a story of miracles God done for me and that is why I am living today. I sing and play guitar for the Lord and he called me to preach so I definitely am blessed. There is also a story about how I wasn't supposed to ever be able to have any kids and my kid will be 20 next month. Love you guys and never forget that you both are a miracle from God.

Apparently that happens quite often where people are told there's no baby and before they sweep it turns out there is or a mother goes against the doctors advice and there ends up being a healthy baby.. A mothers intuition beats a doctors degree.
Glad she changed that amount. Was going to say $60,000 out of pocket was crazy if you had insurance. I had a singleton but had multiple surgeries and picu ( not nicu because was sent home at 5 days just to go back) for 2 months, oxygen at home for 8 months and the list goes on and it wasn’t close to $60,000 out of pocket also in 2004 in Seattle

There is a mom here on RUclips that the Dr. Mixed up her twins but then she figured it out because of the 1 only having 1 kidney but the names had to stay because the birth certificates were already filed out
Wow what a story. I have identical sons they are 14 years old. I had them 34 weeks and they were 4pound 12 oz and 5 pound 6 oz. I had pretty good pregnancy until they find out I have blood clots that why have them delivered early. Before I met my husband fortune teller told me I am going met guy soon and get married in 6 months. Will have 4 kids including twins. I have 3 boys now .

My friend’s twins were twin to twin transfusion as well and she had the same operation they are turning 16 in November.
