- It was so hard saying goodbye to my girlfriend for 2 years... on top of that I had to say goodbye to my sister, brother-in-law and niece that will be born while I am gone. We all teared up throughout the video but it is all for a good reason! That is because we will all miss each other!! I know it will be hard and I'll probably cry a couple times or get emotional throughout the first months when I am gone, but I truly believe that leaving on a 2 year mission to serve my soon to be friends in Brazil will make it all worth it!
This is also a special thank you to all that have watched our videos! Thank you so much for making the time I spent behind the camera and on the computer worth it. I will miss it all! Thank YOU!!!

Safe travels Brock. As a Mom of a boy, my heart breaks for Betsy. I love my 2 girls with all my heart, but there is just that part in your heart between a Mom and her son. I cried for 2 weeks when my son moved out and he was only moving 30 minutes away! Much love to all your family and I hope the next 2 years go fast for you all.

I just broke down when I saw y’all saying goodbye. It hurts my heart seeing y’all cry even though you are leaving for a good cause/reason. But we know after those 2 years of y’all not seeing each other will be so worth it bc y’all’s relationship will have grown so much in those 2 years that the reunion will be so special!
I have to say, I like the way you both handled this Vlog. You showed raw emotions, truth and the beauty of a loving family having to part ways for two years. These two years will fly by so fast, I know you’re going on a mission- that I don’t know anything about tbh- but try to enjoy Brasil and all the beauty and fun of the country. As a brazilian with very little knowledge about your religion, I don’t know if you have time to hang out, meet locals, and actually know the place, but I hope you do, because it’s amazing!
