My widest curves are O-31, so I was only able to push and pull 20 Lionel boxcars plus a caboose with a 73- year- old Lionel postwar 6220 switcher without derailments. That was a real challenge. I had to make sure all the heaviest cars were near the engine and the lightest near the caboose. It was fun. Physics played a big part. Great upload Sean.
Well done Sean! I’ll keep my eye out for a 3M Boxcar. I’ll be heading to a local train show here on Long Island in a couple of weeks and I’ll be on the lookout for one.

Happy New Year Sean! This was a fun video. Your Johnson Wax car reminded me of why I bought my version (the Lionel MPC version). I had visited the Johnson Wax headquarters building in Racine, WI which was the Frank Lloyd Wright designed building (I think it was a school field trip).
Happy new year. Thanks for the challenge. I watched your rolling stock video carefully to see if i could find the special car. The 3m car was not in that video, but I figured it might be a company you or a family member worked for. The PBNE boxcar seemed too obvious, but I went for it in the end.

Fun spin on the boxcar challenge. I tried I went back to your 8mm video you did with your first train set. There was a white milk can boxcar on there with unloading dock. Do you still have that set up? Anyways. I liked the way you explained all the results. It made everyone of us feel like a winner. The Bethlehem car guessers had an educated guess. The 3M car crossed my mind as to you might work there. I have always trusted 3M products. There adhesives are the best in my opinion. Bought a lot of DP190 and DP 460 at my previous job. Thanks for making this hobby fun!
I only have my original MPC train set, everything else is long gone!
