Civil forfeiture. Yep! I bet that fat bald pig took that money and kept it. Otherwise he would have had a procedure for that cash. Nope! He just took it for himself.
Its about time bk cops stand up for bk CITIZENS, and not afraid of white cops. Black officers should be called on the scene everytime a African American is cuffed, and not causing a threat and is sitting on ground.
That white cop really wanted to lock that young man up, he was moaning and groaning about why they didn't lock him up he should be ashamed of himself. They were having a peaceful game of dice this should not even be a crime in my opinion. If it's not a white owned casino folks are giving their money yo it's wrong! Besides this It takes more than one person to play dice so where is everyone else that was playing why'd they only arrest one brother?
I urge every American citizen. Pull out your cameras and start recording all police encounters. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE INVESTIGATION but pull out that phone and record the altercation. It's time we stand up against the tyranny!!!
Cameras protect both parties. The cops are not always wrong. There are some aggressive even criminal cops but remember the vast majority are decent humans.
Now do you see why they want to defund the police? Six officer including two sergeants. All that for some penny-ante operator. Way too much time on their hands.
@@krane15 Have you had a discussion with them before and they didn't understand why people are saying defund the police? The way you said it makes it seem like they were against it and now with this video they can realize why the police should be defunded.
@Steven Miz We have no one to blame but ourselves. Every time there is a national emergency we look to government to come in and save us. When it comes to gun violence the government solution is gun control. Thing is, that only restricts law abiding citizens from owning or carrying a gun. The criminals don't care about gun laws. Not only that, but people were hacking each other to bits long before guns were invented. Before guns the long bow was the most deadly weapon. The point it, guns aren't the problem, rather, the violent nature of the individual that wields it. Timothy McVeigh killed dozen, injured hundreds and cause millions of dollars in damage all without the use of a gun. Giving up our rights won't stop crimes or violence, but it will just make the people weaker and more susceptible to government restrictions and control. Bottom line, always say no to any law that would restrict your rights, and never vote for any representative that has that solution in mind. No matter how convenient that solution may seem.
@Steven Miz Maybe, but at present our farmers get subsidies to hold back production to better control the market price. The only thing that could threaten that is some crop plague. For the time being, America produces more than enough food to feed its population and then some.
So damned right! The actions I take against my officers is; First offence (smoking in public while wearing the uniform) warrants a citation on record, 2nd time, a formal warning, also added to the record, a 3rd offence is an instant withdrawal from active duty, with a harsh investigation, with all previous offences of the same kind, all taken into account, and said officer will be offered the chance to resign, or get fired! May not seem much but, if you can't be a full Professional when on duty, then clearly, the officer concerned has a problem with taking orders, hence, the removal from the force!
Whoopedy Doo Dooders gambling? Yet the president can hire a prostitute, urinate on a prostitute, grab women by the pussy, have sex in his workplace, and not only not get arrested but also not lose his job. Looks like we don’t treat people equally when it comes to the law.
@End this police corruption Show me a video of a White guy getting this level of attention from police, that's why. This happens to Black people too often. Racism, dosen't mean white vs Black it means Racist against the effected group, Black people can be racist against Black people, look at Samuel L Jacksons character in Django Unchained, or the Black cop in Boyz in The Hood. Racist Black people have been carrying out the orders of Racist White men for Centuries.
AndrewKendall71 Later he admits that the ONLY reason they are not taking him to jail was the camera. And the ticket was a CIVIL infraction. There was no CRIME and they were ready to arrest him anyways. And now he's mad cause he got caught. I was one to criticize BLM, and still think some use it as a shield for mischief, but I've been seeing a lot of injustices. And they wonder why people hate the police, specifically minorities.
Well thank god it was that many actually because the last two to arrive (the two black sergeants) were the ones who told everybody else what fucking time it was...
@POV NW, Right! One time a cop was at my house because I had gotten into it with a neighbor, and HE told me to take my sunglasses off - I did. THEN I told him since I had to take mine off, that he best take his off to. He didn't. Then they told me I was being aggressive with them because I told him to take his off to!
Robin Renee Bednarczyk As an ex cop, I know it is procedure because if something happened, he would not be able to 100% ID you without seeing your eyes. Ever wonder why drivers’ licenses are issued with no sunglasses or prescription glasses either?
This exactly what BLM is about. Holding police accountable. You see the bad apple? Turns out, it's all of them that are complicit. Bad cops operate like gangs, not individually.
"We dont mind you filming......but!!!........(you need to identify. Do you have warants. Stand where your view is obfuscated. This day and age. Pick 1)
Cause you can actually win tax free money throwing dice or playing poker. As opposed to spending a $100 dollars on scratch offs only to win $15 Shit me and my friends play poker with a $20 or $30 buy in while we drink and smoke herb. If the pigs knew that they might send one of those APCs and a swat team. And I'm a long haired blonde hippy kid.
So it begs the question: if a citation could settle it, why the escalation to arrest and "lock him up"? Also, why is the cop so disappointed that he couldn't "lock him up"?
Well, in police terms, he was “detained”. An arrest is when they put you in the back of a squad car with the handcuffs still on. My dad was a P.O. and I’m going into criminal justice, but...honestly, I’d drop kick that white boy. Newbie like that...won’t last long. Thank goodness his sergeant arrived and set the guy free.
iimaniDAVID you hit the nail on the head!!!!!!!! That cop understands full and well the consequences down the line of an arrest record when it comes to jobs, credit and all other sorts of things.... buying guns and getting permits.... That cop personally doesn’t want to see people of color have access to the things he’s had his whole life.
Yeah...I heard him whining too.... “I just don’t see why we aren’t taking him in!” ..... over some dice! That is truly all they care about huh?! How many citizens can they put in a cage today?? It’s crazy what is happening in our country! They get paid by our money to abuse us? How crazy is that?!
That white officer is not fit for purpose. He was gutted that he wasn't allowed to destroy the life of that young black man for $27 and a pair of dice. The difference between the more experienced officers was so clear. I don't understand what the police do. So many officers for one nonsensical incident! Please! Illegal traffic stops, harassment and intimidation in the community and lynching.
Queen Smith because they probably was going to fabricate a lie regarding the young black male. Make it look like he had a major crime other then gambling
Exactly!! That shit right there was against the law, because if the man was being charged with "illegal gambling" then that is evidence. Likewise, the other butt hurt cop, who was sitting there shaking the dice, about to cry because the "Dangerous Boogie Man" was not going, because the cameras were rolling.
Because during that time the mayor didn’t want police locking pple up for petty shit like that. That’s y that cop called the LT. he knew they was dead wrong for tryin lock yo up. This was a couple days after the riots in Baltimore
How do these cops find out about a young man rolling dice. Mass murderers who kill and mame children in schools, men and women murdered in their work places, churches and sporting events the cops are not on the scene for major catastrophes like that but rolling dice.
4:42 Cop: _"We would've been taking him to jail if it wasn't for this guy (Cameraman) recording and probably making it seem like we're just harassing a black man for no reason."_ Couldn't be more obvious on his biased harrassment.
He had the “Dice” in his hand, upset he couldn’t get credit for one more black man arrested on something that can just be “cited” for and move on down the road, holding up so many officers for $21 gambling , what an unnecessary spectacle they caused in that community.
So if you were doing honest work Mr Corrupt Cop, why would you be worried about being filmed? I don't worry about cameras when I'm at work. That's because I'm not doing anything illegal! Duh! Matter a fact, the cameras are not applicable to me.
don't worry, they'll put him jail sooner or later. they'll taget him and follow him until they charge him with something even more stupid that gambling. but will make sure there are no cameras around. "cameras are to the police what kryptonite is to Superman."
Why would u say that cause he is a black man but I guess you didn't hear him say will it go on his record cause he is trying to work at the post office. That sound a well equipped guy if you ask me. Then if he was gambling why they didn't detained the other person cause it takes more than one person to gamble
Ain't a joke, they got to much pride to let this go. I would guess they were hanging around all week trying to get this household on anything they could.
see this is what pisses me off. why take someone to jail for something like this rather than just giving them a ticket. he has no record and you trying to jam him up? why? cause he black. simple as that.
@@katykayy The USA has some of the strongest laws on gambling in public, it varies with different jurisdictions but generally, it's either a misdemeanour for a first offence and a felony with a 2nd offence! Doesn't seem a lot but, the times we have attended something like this, which ends in a shooting or some other violence, is something that happens a lot! Had he been in his own home, then there's no problem (apart from shootings or beatings happening) but do it in public, with big money stakes, and that's a whole new kettle of fish!!
Because the head cop didn't want another Michael Brown situation. They didn't do it out of kindness, they did it to save themselves from Bad publicity. To avoid a public relations nightmare.
Understandable to be confused about this. Long story short, with this kind of extremely low-level "crime" it's up to the cop whether he wants to write a citation or arrest him. Both are legal police responses to the "crime". They clearly decided on arresting him and as the cop said to the mother, they were going to take him to jail. When the cameras came out they then became scared of this legal but unnecessary arrest going viral as further proof of the unreasonable way the black community is policed in America. So they decided to cut him loose with a citation, which is how the situation should've been resolved in the first place. I believe this was around the time of the Freddy Grey situation, hence the comment about the paddy wagon and making sure he's buckled, so tensions were already flared and the population was already primed for protesting. That's why the black cop was saying the chief has decided not to make arrests unless it's actually a serious crime like someone has a gun.

That sergeant is a savage. "They ok right there, leave them alone" and getting dude out of cuffs as soon as he got there. He knows they can't afford another lawsuit. These bully pigs can learn something from him
They dont actually pay for their own lawsuits. They use public tax money to pay for all of them so no money comes from any police or any police department. They can afford as many lawsuits as they want. They need to start taking the money from the officers pension and then they would all start acting right

I agree. Your right, he should have just let it go. Maybe talk to the guy, but not take it so personal. He has a bad attitude and should not work with the public.
Mike William the way he acted was as if nothing else is going on in that town let alone society at the current time... i just cannot fathom how some cops dont see the bigger picture that they play a major role in.

That is ridiculous! It's not like he was running some big underground illegal basement casino or something. Just let him be.
Eric, Delicious, and others: The police and civilian society both need each other. We need to allow the police to do their work: Help them and not hinder. So that white cop just admitted that he was going to arrest that black man if it wasn't for that guy recording with the camera and probably placing it on RUclips. Why does he feel so eager to arrest that young brother when no crime had been committed.

Point taken, in the current world. But- to be clear- in the abstract, there's no such thing as "the police we need." Police are just another force of capitalist control. In a stateless, classless society, we'd organize our own safety committees on a rotating basis with strong civilian oversight.
@@Commiecontrol that's not true. Most of human historical societies have operated by anarchist principles. Do you think there have always been kings? Do you think that the soul of humanity is so inextricably linked to coercive domination as to necessitate hierarchical organization? In the modern era, look to revolutionary Catalonia and the Paris commune. Neither was perfect, by any stretch, but to say that anarchist societies are merely theoretical is just plainly ignorant of history.
@@solidaritytime3650 Solidarity Time "police are just another force of capitalist control" is wrong on many levels. The police are a reflection of society. Be it capitalist states like usa or socialist/communist states like Czech republic or USSR. The police always have assymetric power because their very function requires such power. For law to be enforced there needs to be a strong organization to do so. So how does a "safety committe" with "civilian oversight" be different from normal police orgs while enforcing law at the same time without having overbearing assymetric power.
That was all police! That's exactly why we need more people video taping these crimes against citizens, it's exactly why all citizens need to question what's happening. This is uncalled for. The U.S. Is now a police state, and things aren't going to get better until the citizens demand it.

nice to know Baltimore is such a safe area where they can afford to have a half a dozen cops standing around because someone was playing dice. Apparently there are no real crimes in Baltimore.
This is a beautiful example of why it is important to always film encounters with public servants. They can not lie their way out things and impart bogus charges on the public when their every action is being recorded. They towed the line here because they knew the public was recording / monitoring them closely.
By the way, where's the OTHER person involved in this if there truly was an offense? It can't be gambling if the only person involved was him. You can't gamble with yourself!

So professional smoking while arresting someone. Shows lack of discipline and leadership.
So damned right! The actions I take against my officers is;
First offence (smoking in public while wearing the uniform) warrants a citation on record, 2nd time, a formal warning, also added to the record, a 3rd offence is an instant withdrawal from active duty, with a harsh investigation, with all previous offences of the same kind, all taken into account, and said officer will be offered the chance to resign, or get fired!
May not seem much but, if you can't be a full Professional when on duty, then clearly, the officer concerned has a problem with taking orders, hence, the removal from the force!

That's why the black cop was saying the chief has decided not to make arrests unless it's actually a serious crime like someone has a gun.

wtf is up with all that military shit.? these people live in a compound in Saudi Arabia or what..?
Its Baltimore. Made famous by the Police shooting down people and major riots against the corrupt police force.
That was all police!
That's exactly why we need more people video taping these crimes against citizens, it's exactly why all citizens need to question what's happening.
This is uncalled for.
The U.S. Is now a police state, and things aren't going to get better until the citizens demand it.
o damn...that shit is real...
kil koh This was when riots and violence was at a peak in the city, besides, its a pretty crime ridden city anyway.
kil koh well the USA have been exporting such things to the middle east which American citizens were fine with but, they have to return some time.
The chickens coming home to roost. Now you get a taste and it will only get worse. Glad you are going to be shakled in a police state. at least you'll leave other countries alone for a while.
Good job with this recording. You made a difference 💯💯💯
Hector R. Alexander #notallheroeswearcapea
Saved his life entirely. 2018
Why do they need to be so intimidating and why do they need to be so many don’t they have other things to do I counted 6 to 8 men
And 2 army tanks standing guard.
the young cop acting like his the shit need to be re-evaluated cause his on a power trip MAJOR!!
Charile Evans better than going to heaven with you bunch of religious nutjobs
nice to know Baltimore is such a safe area where they can afford to have a half a dozen cops standing around because someone was playing dice. Apparently there are no real crimes in Baltimore.
This is a beautiful example of why it is important to always film encounters with public servants. They can not lie their way out things and impart bogus charges on the public when their every action is being recorded. They towed the line here because they knew the public was recording / monitoring them closely.
Wow this is frightening conversation. Plus since when do cops smoke while on duty on a call? WTF?!
I always think it's sketchy when the cops don't want cameras around. Are you planning on doing something illegal and don't want it documented.
By the way, where's the OTHER person involved in this if there truly was an offense? It can't be gambling if the only person involved was him. You can't gamble with yourself!
nah m8 I always gamble with myself. but I always lose 😭
Fruit Shadow
Lol!
lol Ikr but he could of run away as well
That's how these police do us down here in Baltimore. racist bitches. respect is earned nt given. Fuck baltimore police dirty ass cops. I see it everyday. # Westside
start shooting those pigs at night.
just goes to show the police had intentions of doing something bad but the camera prevented it
"Saying we'd illegal detained a black man"
Well...did you?
That's my home city pigs always been like that. Better watch out for the one in shades. He itching to slam a brother
frfr, you can feel the hatred radiating off of him
Let me get this straight. This guy, in his front yard, was allegedly gambling and has $27 (Hot Damn!). And, all these cops and jail and all the tax dollars this took (even bringing in two armored trucks . . .). Now you've got about 10 DickyDoos standing around and one of them "Just doesn't understand why we take him to jail!!!!" Why isn't EVERYBODY IN AMERICA PISSED OFF? You are taxed to death and this is what you get, so they can tax you again with petty fines and then shoot your ass. Everyone should be pissed.
Moon Pie The BEST time to rob a bank is when something USELESS happens! You'll get clean away!
I am pissed....if a cop can work for cash under the table at a night security job...and poor Eric g. cant even sell a cig to support his MANY children..I am speechless.....
So, two brown cops show up and call lieutenant(brown?) and suddenly the cops realize it's no biggie?
No. They just didn't want another PR nightmare.
I'm fairly sure the lieutenant was not brown which was the reason they didn't want to keep him in the dark about yet another racial incident
Yeah I'm confused too
"Do you need a medic?" Wonder if they would have asked that if there were no cameras!
That was a failed attempt to get him away from the cameras.
One of the cops even said their sergeant said to make sure that they say that on camera
"I don't understand why we don't lock him up" POWER TRIP SMH probably because there are real criminals out there that need a cell and he had dice and 27 funky dollars ugh I use to respect cops
How many clowns you need to charge someone for gambling with himself and $27 lmfao
Y'all gestapos are hilarious.
pipeline3609 I just want to know what that is so I can use it lol what the hell is a Gestapo
jay hank please use Google to look up the word Gestapo or attended a 5th grade history class
All this was over GAMBLING ? BY the way I,m white and this just dumb .
Gestapos 😂👌🏽
If not for the camera, he'd be in jail??!! Did I hear that right? Interesting....
Cecilia Carney very interesting when you consider this was during a state of emergency with Nat. Guard deployed, and the other officer said they were operating as part of the deployment and shouldn't be dicking around with petty arrests.
Yes and whats worst is the black higher rank officer standing there allowing him to make such a comment smh
You're right. He shoulda shot him in the face right then and there for saying that. lol wtf is wrong with you?
They were going to let him off because it was minor, however because news cameras were in the area. (During baltomore riots) They didnt want to be scene letting someone off when witnessed breaking a law.
The camera's didn't save him, the camera's were going to get him arrested for something petty.
The original officers on scene were likely new and didn't know how to handle something like that with a medis presence.
The officer they called to the scene woth STRIPES (HIGHER RANK) advised them that because they were on the deployment team (on standby in case of further rioting) they'd only get involved with petty stuff if they have to. This would be the justification if the media decided to point out how policr weren't stopping people who were breaking the law.
This narrative is completely twisted and I really wish people would think for themselves. It's literally all in the freaking video. The fact that so many people willingly lie to themselves astounds me.
Anthony Horne not to sound negative but black cop, white cop or yellow cop it doesn't matter....the cops shouldn't have said it at all much less tried to detain the dude for no reason. His comment shows how corrupt the cops really are. Arresting 1 guy claiming he was "gambling in public" and yet you need 2 people to gamble so where's the second person? Last I checked this dude was at his house which I'm sure isn't public. When it gets to the point that "we the people" need to record the cops you know that Something needs to be fixed in the police force. Too many cops misusing their badge acting like they are above the law.
So, did he get the money back? The money the pig stuffed into his own pockets?
Civil forfeiture. I doubt that cash is going to go anywhere but that pigs pocket.
Someone tell me how this is The Land of The Free? It’s a damn joke!!
elias mogale If you think you're free,or ever was, you're dumb! Freedom = free-dumb.
They're trying to deceive you. ^ he tries too hard
@T Y Bastard!
Elias - It never was....that's the joke.
And a lot of us are still buying into it. Those of us who are not...are seen as weirdos, or better yet..... conspiracy theorists😂😂😂😂
Ever heard the speech that some say got JFK killed...?
It's on here somewhere... find it. Have a good listen....
That pasty white cop needs to find another job. Maybe community outreach. lol
These cops trying to be detective's 😂failed job they have.
Well done young cameraman,!! Now that film clip deserves an "Academy Award"!!
Ha!!! his only concern was being exposed on RUclips...what a jerk!!!!!
Shaunte Singleton SO TRUE, can't have that happen. You could tell he was all FRUSTRATED with that outcome, shaking the dice, YOU CRAPPED OUT SUCKA...LEAVE THE SMALL SHIT SMALL, stop escalating a very MINOR ISSUE, TOO MANY POLICE THERE FOR A potential MURDER.
I'd like the name of the white cop in the shades to be released, and him to be watched very carefully by the community. He needs to be recorded and put on RUclips daily, before he does something awful.
Mark Drennan ,,,exactly he was obviously upset that the guy was released ...he definitely need to be watched
Mark Drennan yep he was mad. And look at how he was rolling those dice at the end of the video. He's definitely going to try and get "vengeance".
He stole the dice AND the guys money. Put it right in his pocket. 2:04
VHS vcr I saw that too, I was wondering did he ever get his money back it was only 27 dollars so he couldn’t have been winning, and who was he gambling with?
Love how the black sgt handled the situation!!💯💯💯💯💯
👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😊🤗
Just another day in America. Rip democracy and freedom.
Shakti Poudyal rip? You first had to have democracy and freedom for it to die. Smoke and mirrors bro.
So if a citation could've been written from the start why arrest him. Wasting resources and man power
Because a citation is mere cents in the bank. While being arrested brings in the big bucks. You have bond, then court fees that add up that can't be paid that then put him in jail again. It is a vicious cycle that repeats itself. They all know this. That's why they arrest poor POC on bogus charges that could and should be tickets and citations. It's all about money and it's all well documented and known about. That's how they keep homes father less and the poor poor long term. Systematic my friend!
Because of felony on your resume will prevent you from getting jobs, housing, & might even kill any political career aspirations 🤨
Good Job and thank you for protecting this man's rights from the corrupt police establishment.
Dang, the punk cop said on video “we be taken him to jail if it weren’t for the camera” dang!! Illegal arrest it it weren’t for the camera.
Guy is handcuffed sitting on ground
“It’s a small offense but we have to take you to jail”
Has about 10 officers around him just standing around not patrolling the streets where an actual crime could be committed
Vortex Prodigy Micah not to mention, so you need a medic, they probably used a bit of excessive force to ask that... I've never seen a cop remove handcuffs so humbly, politely and delicate off a citizen... wow... fake as heck coppers
Especially since this was in Baltimore and their violent crimes are through the roof
Because they are part of the deployment team, not patrol. Watch the video, moron. Outrage culture is getting out of hand.
Did you notice the army tank?
Bullies..too afraid to face the real criminals..so go hunting for easy prey to get their adrenalin rush.
No people skills..no commonsense..
Mans inhumanity to man ..
man that one cop seemed racist to me. complaining that they should of been able to put him jail blah blah. he was alone rolling dice he had a whole $27 on him are you kidding!!
debbie stipetich I’m not certain that he was racist, but he has a complex about having his way... didn’t want to feel punked.
@@joelerickson1058 The white cops in this video are racist..
Ryan Cummins you know them personally?
Ryan Cummins so now they’re all racists?
@@joelerickson1058 I don't need to know them, there is a consistent pattern in America of white cops, arresting black and brown people for NOTHING.
The rude disrespectful white cop, was just about to encroach on the RIGHTS of the people filming this, until the black cop came out and said "Stay right there, leave them alone"
Dirty racist scum got put in his place.
All that tax money for $27!?
The Zohan I know, damn-shame! Their actions are indefensible!
It amazes me that they need so many armed police for next to nothing.
we put things like this on youtube to show accountability for your actions as a public police officer and the public. Thank god the camera was there!!!! what a disgrace to the uniform.
who was the guy gambling with? himself. I don't see anybody else in cuffs
Zeke aaron lol, lmbo!!!
Zeke aaron True story
Zeke aaron he's gambling with his own life when you got cops like this
Well that's one way to look at it.
Zeke aaron I'm confused to by looking at this is he had dice one the cops says. Is it illegal to have dice wtf am I watching. Thank God I'm from aus and you can say fuck off idiot without getting shot
Wow in my day police would tell kids to go home or call their parents now it's just lets put everyone in jail , I bet they play a weekly poker game , funny how the law works when they want it to work 🤔
rick mcmillan they also get bigger bonuses every month relative to how many arrests they get. Not convictions just arrests. This started after the supreme Court made it illegal to have arrest quotas. Now you don't have a minimum to reach, but if you want a new couch you know how to make more money
It never was that way for a black man
