Yeah, don't think she is a plant. That comment really annoyed me.. She released so many songs before working on Ashlyn and has definitely worked her way up to be where she is on her own merits.
i saw her at Lollapalooza and can confirm at one point she did say “go fuck yourself” during me without you. SUUUPER satisfying to scream along with her.
This is one of my top 5 albums of 2021. I've asked legit all my friends to listen to it and so glad to see that you're finally gonna react to it as well ❤️
THIS ALBUM IS JUST PERFECT IN EVERY WAY THAT EXISTS. ASHE really made a true masterpiece of modern music like no other. Seeing that she's being recognized finally is just 😭 incredible.
Uhhhhhhhhh Ryne's Song has always destroyed me. I even started crying during its part here. It came out only 5 months after my grandpa, who I was very close to growing up, passed away. So the relatability it holds for me is very raw and it still hurts to hear it.
Love songs that reveal a passing like this after making it sound like a lost love, so heartbreaking and the reveal just hits so hard. Yesterday by Atmosphere is another great one.
Long time listener, first time caller. I go from crying to laughing to back to crying. Perfect mix of interpretation/analysis, funny, and amazing editing.
I fell in love with Ashe back in 2017 I think with Choirs and she’s been one of my favorite artists ever since. When Moral of the Story blew up I internally freaked out lol she’s a queen 👑
I'm so happy when someone give a try to listen to this album. I've ask a lot of reactors to react to this album. Most of them don't want to. Idk why they don't want to give a listen to new artist and see their talent. This album honestly is so good. The whole song on the album is a masterpiece. This album is criminally underrated😩
When Ryne's song came while I was listening to the album on it's release day, I was in a school bus, and literally started crying... Don't wanna sound like I enjoyed seeing you suffer, but I was like, if he survives this one without having an emotional breakdown I don't know what's life anymore 😂😭💕
Yes! I can't believe someone else noticed the nostalgia! I feel like her sound is a mixture of modern tecnologies in production and this old almost musical theater writing. It's the most beautiful.
Bro I don't understand how you don't have millions of subscribers at this point! Your album react videos are the only ones I watch because I feel that you genuinely understand the beauty of EVERY SINGLE aspect of the song. The vocals, the lyrics, the instruments. These videos are my fave videos to watch
Ryne's song destroyed me like "Two of Us" did when I listened Walls for the first time... and I thought I was ok by now (a year later) but no. I cried. Again. Love this album sooooo much and can't wait for Ashe2. Also, the EPs are sooooo good. From The Rabbit Hole my favs are: Someone to Lose, Real Love, Wrong Side of Myself, We Get High and Sometime People Suck. From Moral of the Story Chapter 1: Figured Out and Bachelorette / From Chapter 2: Cold in California, In Disguise and Not How It's Supposed To Go. PS: I reaaaally think you would love this video where she talks about "Real Love" and the Beatles/Lorde influence and some nerd music stuff like chords (she mentioned a 5 minus chord, Idk what it is but you would xD) ruclips.net/video/JwQKYG-6uRc/видео.html
I replayed the poor cats skittering away when he started celebrating his wordle win like 10 times in a row and chuckled each time 😅 also Troy's giggling is gold and it always makes me laugh because it's contagious 😂
I FEEL LIKE TROY WOULD HAVE A COMPLETE DIFFERENT OUTLOOK ON THE RELATIONSHIP IF HE KNEW IT WAS A MARRIAGE THAT ENDED IN DIVORCE ALL ALONG!!!!! I NEED THAT ANALYSIS FROM THIS NEWLY MARRIED MAN!!!!
48:56 PLEASE LISTEN TO LIZZY MCALPINE!! her new album is coming out in Aprill but she has Give Me a Minute album and then she has a Live EP and a few singles from her upcoming album which are ALL amazing. Shes currently on tour with Dodie and has worked with Jacob Collier, Adam Melchor, Scary Pockets and more
OMG YES WHEN I FIRST HEARD "ALWAYS" IT DROVE ME NUTS BECAUSE IT'S BEAUTIFUL AND ALL BUT IT SOUNDED SO MUCH LIKE SOMETHING ELSE AND WHEN I FINALLY REALIZED IT SOUNDED LIKE "MY WAY" I COULDN'T UNHEAR IT LOL
This album is insanely good and I LOVE you mini music lessons throughout the video, you have no idea. Would love to see that in upcoming videos as well 💙
YESSS YESSS YESSS YESSS this is definetely my favorite album from 2021 and i was dying for him to react to this and its just gonna be so much fun watching this video because i feel like i know the soul of this album
I listened to this album when it was first released and kind of forgot about it. You always give me a new appreciation for music through your reactions. Imma be listening to this on repeat for a sec haha. She is so talented and underrated
believe or not Troy, but I got so involved with music production and industry in the lasts months and this happened just because of your videos and explanations within, your content is always getting better, thank you so much 💕💕
I am CRYING that you are finally making this video to lifeeee aaaa thank you so much and your comments and reactions are always on point. yes please everyone that has been commenting down below in this video to not stop preaching this album cuz she needs more recognition than she has been received. Also, these days I just skip Ryne's Song bcs it is just so heartbreaking when I listen to it
you HAVE to check out the album she released last year, "Rae". It has such a much more "groovy boss bitch" to it, she really embraces her angry woman phase and I was all for it. I also love how she is naming her albums to her full name, the first being her first name "Ashlyn", the second her middle name "Rae" and probably the next one will be "Willson", her last name. It's a pretty interesting metaphor to showcase the different phases of her life and every emotion and feeling that it encompasses. In the end they are all her! I love her work, she's amazing!
42:34 serial monogamist is the same as a serial dater which means they are in continuous monogamous relationships just one after the other, not that they’re serious abt relationships (think *serial* killer, someone who goes on a killing streak)
Thank you for finally reacting to this AMAZING album. I had given up hope you would do it even though I knew it was on your list of potentials. The music lessons throughout were great and editing ,as always, was top notch.
watching you be amazed by music makes me love music even more!! like wow even if I've already listened to songs, when i watch u react to them, it feels like im listening to them for the first time and that's the best thing ever. so thank you for being able to do that aaaa it's so cool
hi! i've been watching your videos for a while, and I noticed you like lyrics!!!! you should absolutely check out both of hoziers albums, mainly his recent, wasteland baby, which goes into the concept of the world ending in the context of his relationship with his lover. he is absolutely one of the best lyricists i've ever heard... lots of biblical and mythological references. just gorgeous.
This album is A MASTERPIECE, she has done a GREAT job omg thanks for reacting to this one :) I recommend you to react to The New Abnormal by The Strokes, that album won Best Rock Album at the 2021 grammys!! It’s worth it I promise
THIS IS MY 2ND FAVORITE ALBUM OF 2021- thank you for reacting to it. i’m so excited for ashe’s second album, which is supposed to come somewhat soon i’m pretty sure
So, I did some research on Wikipedia and you were right, Big Taste produced the entire album but other people with him too, like FINNEAS, Noah Conrad, and some guy named Evigan. Love your videos, thanks for being a light
If you loved the fading (?) between Not Mad Anymore and Always, you should react to JP Saxe's "Dangerous levels of introspection". There's something similar between two of the songs on that marvelous album
When my brother passed away a yr ago was too shocked to my core that I couldn’t cry for the first few month, and so sad music was the only way i could help me grief but there weren’t a lot of songs to relate to the grief of loosing brother but once Ryne’s song passed my playlist, I couldn’t stop listening it was one of the only things that helped me cry get it out of my system, and I’m forever thankful that Ashe wrote such a beautiful peace.
Whether it gets a reaction in another video or not, but i feel you need to listen to Moral of the story ft Niall Horan, as its a bonus track on the album, but the lyrics were changing for Niall to be potentially from her exes point of view
38:47 bro cats would definitely let you know if someone's a red flag. you just gotta understand their ways lol. General rule of thumb? If your pet doesn't like someone new, it's definitely not good.
I first heard her with Save Myself right after my last big break up. He wasted a year of my life and I had it on repeat because it explained how I felt so much. Then I fell in love with another guy after that, and when he fell out of my life, it hit me extremely hard. The songs Taylor and Always made me cry so hard in those moments. I remember crying on the floor at my job listening to Taylor and feeling it so deeply. This girl gets me.
Ashe probably knows this many people in the music industry because she was a professional songwriter before becoming an singer herself
Yeah, don't think she is a plant. That comment really annoyed me.. She released so many songs before working on Ashlyn and has definitely worked her way up to be where she is on her own merits.
she also studied music at berkeley so she made a lot of connections there
thank u for the info
When he started crying and wasn't even near Ryne's song I got really concerned in behalf of his emotional stability
i saw her at Lollapalooza and can confirm at one point she did say “go fuck yourself” during me without you. SUUUPER satisfying to scream along with her.
AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!
@@hthazee my thoughts exactly

Omg! you should totally listen to Conan Gray's "Kid krow" album.

i like the way he says in always "leave this man" when the song is actually written about her current bf instead of her ex husband 😭😭😭
I love that you help us appreciate music so well LIKE I WAS SLEEPING ON THIS ALBUM THIS ENTIRE TIME?????!!!
THIS IS LITERALLY AOTY OF 2021 I NEVER SAW ANYONE REACTING TO IT I'M SO HAPPY‼‼‼‼
