Fun fact: Both Billie and finneas both have synesthesia! the way they view music is entirely different than most of the people listening. That’s why everything is so innovative and new and fresh and unexpected. They’re essentially making you feel more from the music. For me, also having synesthesia, it’s a full on experience. After a little puff puff too oh my god. It’s other worldly. Al of her songs are colored. Tbh I wonder if either of them agree what songs and which colors 😂 every song has a texture, a color, a scent, etc. it’s cool to see other people get a taste of it. 95% of other artists can’t accomplish the absolute experience of music the way these two have.

The people that say Billie is going through her “flop era” have no idea what they’re talking about. I definitely think her music is changing, but for the better. I personally think that this album shows remarkable growth in her abilities. I’m glad she’s happy. She deserves it.
Yeah the songwriting is better. Lyrics are more interesting and weirdly fascinating. Vocals are on point, still mostly quiet and I'm waiting for an album where she sings with a full voice more instead of the whisper Mumble singing but Mumble singing or not it still works. It's just a beautiful album to have on in the background with lovely melodies, song structure is fantastic because of the production from her brother. Also extremely unique because they run such a tight ship when it comes to how it's produced. It has a unique, wonderful, and distinct sound.
I've listened to the entire album about five or six times now. The first two times was just being entertained by all the sounds going on. The next few listens the lyrics really stood out and song after song I was surprised how great the song writing is. Now I know the album well enough that I'm starting to dissect the unique production methods involved which there are many. Need to do some real close listening with my best headphones and quiet environments to really pick out those details but gosh there are a lot of details to be noticed.
Keep a watch on the award shows, I wouldn't be surprised if Phineas wins more producer of the Year awards for this one. He seems to be getting better from what they did on the last album.

They SHOULD be a duo. and yes he does deserve credit for all his work. but both Billie and Finneas have reiterated over and over for disbelieving fans that BOTH of them produce the music. ALL of her songs were co-produced. most of them were even co--written with a few being written by her and a few by him. I'm not sure where this whole "Finneas does all the work while Billie sings" kick came from, but both artists have told us over and over that that's not how it is.

I'm not the only one! I can only listen to Oxytocin really loud so its vibrating my ears and it has some powerful feel to it and I am head over heels in love with that feeling and the song in general.
Billie has never, ever seized to impress me but this Happier Than Ever album is more fucking relatable than any music I've ever listened to in my life (let it be known I'm a diehard Billie fan and I have been since the beginning of her music career). Her very low pitched, intense, low base, dark but still incredibly amazing music has grown so much. This playlist is on repeat everyday for me and it's not even that I relate to it so much, but it makes me feel so comfortable in my skin and with who I am, does anyone else feel that way? Genuinely I cannot even express how much I love all of Billie's albums but this is #1 as of right now, good lord. I just love her to shits she's so talented and for her AGE is just, ughh, indescribable. ;-;

What I would give to hear this whole album but especially Happier Than Ever for the first time again. I felt exactly as you did but with a lot more pent up grief and rage and tears. That song came into my life at the exact moment I needed it to, it genuinely helped me get through one of the toughest moments of my life because it is WORD FOR WORD what I was going through, like EXACTLY the same. I always liked billies work, but I had drifted when she gained a huge following, but that song brought me back as a die hard fan. I feel in a sense I owe my life to that song, it helped me heal and also opened my world up to the true power of music and lyricism. I would give limbs off my body to hear it in concert.

And with all those haters who are trying to cancel billie this album, i feel sorry for them. This album is like another level of billie. I don't know if someone in the comments already mentioned this, but the " death growl " you heard in " I Didn't Change My Number " is Billie's dog, Shark ; she said in her IG stories while answering some questions, that when they were recording the song, Shark was always there with them and they decided to leave the growl he did, and if you listen carefully, you'd noticed that Finneas used it more than once during the song, and I personally that's so dope!! They always manage to use particular noise in their songs, just like they did with Bad Guy and some other songs from the other album
Yeah like in “watch”, they added Finneas saying ‘thanks’ and also Billie saying ‘that’s better’
Also, in the beginning of ‘Your Power’ they left in either Billie shifting or Finneas shifting but it adds a bit of sparkle to the song which I love ❤️
