Saw one of these in a pawn shop for about $200. I didn't have the money at the time but it made me realize I wanted one. Later I picked up your other bass which is the ltd b206sm. Beautiful finish and plays very well. I'm not copying you as I found your channel after my purchase. I think we both have good taste and like 6 strings.
Nice demo! I’d have to check one out to see how it feels, but I can tell by the tone it would be great for both jazz and when I’m being a Les Claypool wannabe.
Love this demo. Want to buy this as my first 6 string bass, got a 4 string Squier PJ Special that i absolutely love... mainly a guitarist thats working on his bass skills haha
Nice short and sweet demo! Thank You! Can you direct me to links for six string bass for beginner bass player. I am starting with six string to make it easier on my wrist as more notes or a under hand position. What do you think about this?

It's a great idea to start with a six strings as this will help fasten and strengthen your grip which sometimes could take a pretty long while and some pain on your hands but over time your hands will get used to it. I started off with a 5 but I actually wished I started on a six. Those are links to some affordable six. But if you need more, let me know and I'd be glad to send more
@@jucatamo23 my impression is the pickups are passive, but you can turn on the active EQ to fatten up the sound - so should work fine in passive mode - i hope, considering getting this one myself :)
This video seems to confirm the passive/active relationship of these basses at ca 6:30 mins in ruclips.net/video/mEqf9lIhrMk/видео.html And the official specs say passive pickups and active EQ / bass boost - www.ibanez.com/usa/products/detail/gsr206b_02.html Would like to know if anybody has played it without battery though, would be nice to know - i need one that will still be useable if the battery runs out. Will have order it "blind" online when i've saved up enough to buy it, so trying to learn as much as possible in advance. Did you receive your bass yet @Ed B Metal, and if so how do you like it?
This is one of the better demos of this bass. Thank you.
Oh, I appreciate this a lot. Much Love.

Can you talk about any pros and cons of this bass in your opinions?
