Hey Muddstah, I love your vids, some new cards/ideas always show up. But came here to say you come out with 1 extra life with fetch + courser, since the centaur sees two lands entering the field. Not that it would have saved you, but extra life is extra life. Also, cast your commander sometimes.
I'm a little confused about the comment at the end about 'realising with elesh norn in play I couldn't do any of this and scoop it up'. All we saw you do was crack a fetch and draw a couple cards
Simply put Elesh Norm gives Gisela +2/+2, putting her a 7/7 in the air, that with her static ability, will swing for lethal. Because Gisela, doubles damage to opponents & their permananta and prevents half dmg rounded up, to you and your permanants.
@@alemorikec He had a Marit Lage token to block Gisela. Granted the other creatures will easily kill him. That's not what we are confused about. He said he couldn't do any of what he did because of Elesh Norn. I'm quite sure Elesh Norn doesn't stop playing lands and drawing cards so we are just confused about that statement. Not how he wound up dying.
So this is something that can be relevant, especially in Commander. You don't sacrifice to the Legend Rule. It is a state based action that has you choose one to keep and the other is placed into the graveyard!
08:20 - looks like Miguel forgot Omnath's death triggered ability. Could've even just pinged his own anger creature, since they're way better in the graveyard.
5:28 You gain a life from the Windswept heath entering, lose one for cracking it, then gain one from the land you find, so you should have been up a life
well, I don't think so. Oracle text of Gaeas touch actually specifically calls from hand. (i find this odd, cause actual printing doesn't even have this) 0: You may put a basic Forest card from your hand onto the battlefield. Activate this ability only any time you could cast a sorcery and only once each turn. Sacrifice Gaea's Touch: Add .
GUR Omnath is a great deck. It's been consistent for me with a decent win rate in two (different meta) playgroups. Best play is having 12 mana on turn 5 so far (yes, it was Christmas land, but it was awesome). Favorite play right now is getting a Cavalier of Flames out and playing Rite of Replication on it. Better after Scapeshift, but this move has won me three games so far.
No one else seemed to catch the Fabled Passage misplay. The land only comes in untapped if you control 4+ lands. Wouldnt have made much difference but still
Centaur means you should have been playing with the top of your library revealed. Probably missed a few free land drops? Missed some life gain too. Playing your commander would have been solid, paying the upkeep on the Chasm might have been a fine idea too.
With my deck I tend to sac my lands at the end of the players turn before me, get a whole bunch of elementals and then play Thunderfoot Baloth, Siege Behemoth, Bellowing Tangleworm. If I don't have access to Titania Liege of the Tangle gets me wins. It's my favorite deck and wins most of the time I play it.
@@MTGMuddstah fair enough, from all the videos you post, I've always thought you had over 100 but i suppose that would be ridiculous XD but love your videos btw!
Gotta love a game with no blue! Not that blue is bad, but sometimes it's just fun to watch decks slug it out without having to worry about counterspells.
I am about to watch this episode and see mayhem unfold (with no blue deck to keep explosive turns in check). =P Why cast Elesh when he had Omnath dead already? That's unnecessary disrespect. And I also knew the partner deck would win. With no blue deck to control it, black had free range to tutor stuff.
Actually that's a common misconception. Dying in Magic refers specifically to going to the graveyard. Because going to the Command Zone is a replacement effect, Omnath never actually hits the yard and doesn't trigger his ability.
Why someone would ever use a tap-dual that doesn't provide any benefit (save for being a dual) is literally beyond me. With all the scry duals, lifegain duals, etc out there I just don't get it.

12:26 “and play an evolving wilds”
IS THAT A TERRAMORPHIC EXPANSE I SEE?!?!
I sensed the anger when that Fierce Empath was almost slammed into the table... :P
How did Elish Norn stop you from playing and cracking a land?
Yeah I was confused by that.
Ok I was worried it was just me confused.... I reminded just to make sure I didn’t miss hear.
He meant that with norn on board, there was enough power to knock him out
I'm a little confused about the comment at the end about 'realising with elesh norn in play I couldn't do any of this and scoop it up'. All we saw you do was crack a fetch and draw a couple cards
The elf would have died to Elesh Norns static ability before it wouldve been able to have been cracked.
Alemorikec Slichrichlu Wich elf?
I'm just as lost as you. I cannot see how Elesh Norn affects drawing cards and playing lands.
Simply put Elesh Norm gives Gisela +2/+2, putting her a 7/7 in the air, that with her static ability, will swing for lethal.

Playing Titania would’ve been smart considering you had the scapeshift shenanigans. Overall good game though!

Omnath only triggers if you put him to the graveyard, not the command zone.
@@MTGMuddstah Oh, good point! Command zone is a "replacement" effect so they don't touch the graveyard.
Yep, exactly!
Ahhh I go all happy inside whenever I see Omnath in a game
Green for the win!
(I laughed a lot with the "Prowling Sepoppopopopard")
One of my best mtg memories is me and my brother trying so hard to pronounce that card when we cracked it lol.
I was just thinking to myself: "I wonder when Muddstah's next video is out?"
*RUclips notification pops up*
"Well that wasn't creepy at all!" XD
Dom wins the game with that playmat alone!!!
4:10 - just gonna forget your Courser?
Also nice one lander by miguel
Like i just build a Bruse Shidiqi a week ago, this is perfect timing for some comparison !
Prowling Sepopopopopopard! xD
So much green, I can't wait to watch this...tonight.
5:28 You gain a life from the Windswept heath entering, lose one for cracking it, then gain one from the land you find, so you should have been up a life
Hey Mudd, flip the top card of your library before passing, @5:49 you could have played another land for free.
well, I don't think so.
Oracle text of Gaeas touch actually specifically calls from hand.

0: You may put a basic Forest card from your hand onto the battlefield. Activate this ability only any time you could cast a sorcery and only once each turn.

also its put into play as an active ability.
So no when you play land triggers, but for the most part this is irrelevant (horn of greed)
@@Egovinco98 yes, you can use this ability BEFORE you play your normal land for the turn.
Thengine he never played a land from hand it was a fetch in his graveyard so no where could he have played that land anyway. Accept when you are wrong
Good Ol Gisela, a bomb as always.
That evolving wilds you played looks oddly like a terramorphic expanse...
*HMMMMMMMMMMMMM*

Got a list posted?

When was this? If you mean the first turn for Max, it was a Prismatic Vista, not Fabled Passage.
Have you some houserule to not kill one's next turn ulting planeswalker or wtf is going on here?
What do you think about Sunstone or Constant Mist in Titania?
I was just thinking about brewing Bruse|Ikra. This is both enlightening and creepy.
Why did you ever sacced the glacial chasm in that situation? O.O
Because then he cant attack with the Marit Lage lol
She’s my main commander! Hate seeing her not get played! Lol
Hey there Muddstah I got an idea for you as far as another generic goblin noise voiceover, and that is the guy from Magic Aids lol.
Dom is a man of culture I see
Centaur means you should have been playing with the top of your library revealed. Probably missed a few free land drops? Missed some life gain too. Playing your commander would have been solid, paying the upkeep on the Chasm might have been a fine idea too.
How did Bruse Tarl do 4 damage?
Editing error on my part. I had to put together a bunch of games in 3 days before leaving for the UK, so this was an oopsie =(
Is this the Green Gang game?
So I'm curious what is the usual win con for Titania I'm looking at making a mono green edh and want to weigh my options

No field of the dead or reliquary tower for the Titania deck
Y'all missed omnaths death trigger
that sweet sweet green ramp
Wheres krenko I miss him *sigh*
scapeshift for dark stage combo is really bad idea andrew :(
Has anyone try using deathrender equipment
Yes , I use it in my Syr Gwen deck though our play group is not this competitive
Zak Haasbroek I made people I know get piss when I use it
I had it in a Marchesa deck which worked out well.
Thermobeatz2 I use it in my xenagos deck n play few eldrazi

I wonder how many decks muddstah has...
I currently have 11

Andrew wasn't allowed to draw a card at the end of turn 12 since Max became the monarch as he took out Dom. 🤔
Angry Jelly Bean made me laugh out loud😂
HEY GANG!, HE SAYS "HEY GANG"
Angry Jellybean
Almost monogreen table
I hate it when you are digging for answers but can't find them!
Titanialess ramp xD
dope!
the balls to keep that omnath hand...wtf

Muddstah, no, just no on the soundtrack. Keep the subtle classical music, not a bad Nintendo game from the 90’s.
First?
I hate the background music, extremely distracting and irritating!
