hey gone hunting you seem to really like the deus .is it as good as the ctx 3030 ?.

Blake Garvey on a long day hunt the Deus is nice because of the weight, but it is no where near as accurate at target identification as the CTX.. Both are great machines.. If you want the top target id.. get the CTX, if you want lightweight separation then the Deus.. But they are two totally different machines.. and both need the user to have programming understanding of the area in which they hunt or they will not perform at the top of their ability.

Blake Garvey yes.. you can.. thing is you will dig more trash with the Deus. Still being a vlf there will be targets that will fool the Deus. Ctx is the same but with a greater accuracy

Gonehunting For History yeh cause i noticed the ctx is very heavy and the price is rediculas .i dont know why minelab dont make a lighter machine and a bit cheaper cause my mate has both machines and he reakons the ctx is not worth the money and that its not as sensitive to gold and jewellry as the deus .what are your thoughts .thx for reply by the way .

Blake Garvey different kind of technology.. Fbs is so much different than vlf that it makes the price worth it.. Yeah it's heavy but it does it so much better.. (coins and relics) if you are wanting tiny gold then you need a vlf
