Great stuff once again Adam! I admire your strength in walking on by if the conditions aren't just right despite the fact that it has taken considerable effort to reach a location. I am weak in this respect and can learn from this considerably. Greetings from Thailand, Jeremy!
Thanks, Khun! One thing to remember is that the areas that I have been showing you guys are ones that I have been to many times so I do have the advantage of knowing what I am after. Having said this, sometimes it is extremely hard to walk by a subject in favour of another especially if it's a new area. On many occasions this approach has backfired on me and I should have stopped when the conditions presented themselves. As an example, the area that I drove by in the video with all of the snowy tree and peaks was in way better shape than Abraham Lake for sure but I chose to take a chance.
In all your videos i recently saw you did an amazing job. Keep up the good work. It's nice to see some calming photos after a stressing day of work. It relaxes me so much.
Those scenes of views with that clean, sharp air and mountains gorgeous, gorgeous and gorgeous again. What a fantastic place. This beats Iceland hands - down. Thank you for sharing ...
Wow, that second shot is amazing, with all that pink sky reflected in the frozen lake. But what I liked most was the beautiful pattern in the frozen lake in the immediate foreground. I could keep looking at that image forever.
Always a challenge to accept what nature offers sometimes. You make the best of what you find and I admire that. I do feel sorry for the girl from Texas though.
Yes I felt really bad for her. The condition of the ice definitely would have been very hard to predict even with the best organizational and pre planning skills.
Adam, I was wondering if you get any light leak from using the filter holder setup? I’m thinking about moving to that setup from the screw on filters which has no light leak. Thanks
So far no light leaks, The Lee Big stopper has a soft foam gasket on the outside of the filter to help prevent light leaks. The Breakthrough filter system I'm not sure since I haven't had a chance to try out the larger 100mm glass filters. I'm not sure if Breakthrough has come out with a 100mm or 150mm 10 stop ND filter yet. I would imagine that they would also have some sort of gasket surrounding their filters as well. Blocking light from the viewfinder also helps considerably. Cheers, Percy!
was that Donald Trump with a Van Dyke beard on the side of your van? Hilarious. Are you sleeping in the van? What's the generator for? You should do some processing videos sometime, I would be interested since I am a photoshop rookie and not too confident with it.
So many questions, haha. Actually, the Trump sticker was just an odd face that he was making that I thought was funny and, well, someone grabbed a pen and put a Hitler moustache on his face. Yep, I use my van for sleeping in, very cosy. The generator I use to recharge all of my batteries, so many of them. Eventually, I'll put a solar panel on the roof of the van, just haven't got around to it. I will probably do a few PS and Lightroom episodes in the future. Thanks, Steve!
Adam, great job. The last image on the lake was great. keep it up.
Thanks, John!
Those bubbles looked really interesting! I think you did a good job of adapting to the fact that there weren't many bubbles when you revisited.
Thanks, Nick! Yes there is always something to photograph regardless of what the conditions are.

Great to hear Sirkov. Working in both video and photography is a bit of a challenge but I'm thoroughly enjoying working with the two mediums.

Bergans
Yes! my favourite woollen, hooded sweater. I wear it all the time. Unfortunately, Bergans has just pulled out of North America, love their clothing.
