I keep hearing the reference to what sounds like "glass" at the end of the show. When they are talking about places and also the British Isle. I wonder if I am hearing this correctly.... I think the word "glas" is like the word green in Gaelic. Although, I'm not certain I am hearing the word correctly in the show, and I'm also maybe not spelling the word correctly. Just a thought.............@24:23 maybe they are saying it with a hard c/k sound.
With the way in which there are a variety of different styles, possible views of how things might have happened in the past, one does not truly know how things occurred. JR🖖
Merlin was captured by Nimue, and taken to the Crystal Cave (the ¨glass house¨). There the great wizard will remain, outside the illusionary House of Time, till the days of great confusion and despair for sacred Albion. Then he will return to the land of the living at last...
I am confused. If the round table was Guinevere's "dowry", should it not have been given to her family? If so why would it remain in Arthur's castle? I think he means Merlin gave it as a wedding present. Am I right? Does someone know from another source?
My man mothafuckin Merlin! One of the greatest stories about a Wizard w exceptional gifts and creative magic. Camelot!!! He's definitely up there along side such great Wizards as, Gondolf the Grey and Saromon the White. And for the record, your not a real Wizard , if you don't have a staff. Merlin is still watching the British Isles as we speak. You go big boy... Look out for your PEEPS! I ain't mad atcha.. LoL
Merlin was a title not a name. Merlin fell in love with a woman from another star system, a Pleiadian visitor. The Grail was just a mere wooden box used to hold the true teachings of Christ Emmanuel.
That;s cool to hear! I had read somewhere that "Merlin" was a mad raving lunatic with psychic abilities! What did the title Merlin mean? Something to do with magic?
No, the other way round. The proof you talk of is someone miles to the north with a kinda similar name. Hardly proof. There were two king Arthurs, the mythology come from their stories becoming interwoven over time to create one. Look for the work of Wilson and Blackett
because none seem to know the truth that is Merlin isn't mortal but is Arthur father possibly they are one o the same the father is the son , some truths really are timeless in more than one sense than wasted words !!!! Merlin is spirit not martial has many identities all the way back to Thoth god f wisdom for he has no name only titles ! im making it all up of course lol maybe
I heard that st Molins in Wexford was the same as Merlin. And that he was mad and lived in a tree. He drank milk from an indentation in a cow pat. He has a well that is supposed to have curative powers. My daughter said that her warts vanished after dipping her hand in the water.
King Arthur, or Artus, king of the Celts, contrary to today's depiction of having been a hero or the like, was absolutely not a courtly king in shining armor, nor a good-hearted and noble hero. King Artus was a fierce sixth-century clan leader, a “war king”, who led his pagan warriors in bloody battles and raids. He was a slaughterer and kept the name the “Boar of Cornwall”. His “knights” truly were bloodthirsty murderous thugs as you say. Artus himself was Merlin’s protégé, a pupil of Merlin the druid, for seven years. Born on January 4, 469, Arthur died on August 11, 509 in the Battle of Camlann (crooked valley) in a battle with his nephew Prince Medraut. Arthur was a brutal and stubborn man to whom human life meant little or nothing. Arthur's wife was Gwynhwyfara, Guanhamara, or Guinevere (white spirit or glowing spirit, Billy's note). His father was Uther Tudur, carrying the surname Pendragon, who was already married and impregnated another woman in a most insidious manner and thus procreated Arthur. Arthur's mother was Ygerna, who was also married and was the wife of Prince Gorlois. (Actually the liberal Celtic marriage laws did not overvalue lifelong physical fidelity. Thus, while Gorlois, the Cornic duke was deceived and cheated by the fraud, King Uther and Queen Ygerna could engage in a sexual act.) The story goes like this: Arthur’s father, Uther Tudur Pendragon, fell in love with Queen Ygerna of Cornwall, the young and beautiful wife of Gorlois, Duke and Prince of Cornwall. Ygerna, however, was faithful to her husband. So Uther Pendragon sought the support of Merlin and devised an intrigue to abduct the Queen of Cornwall and seduce her. Merlin lured Gorlois away from his castle on a pretext in order for Uther Pendragon to secretly snatch Ygerna at night and bring her to Tintagel. A confidante of Merlin who was also a servant to the Queen Ygerna of Cornwall then administered a drug to her, and she reached a hallucinogenic and will-less state. Ygerna was kidnapped from the castle and taken to a certain place where Uther Tudur Pendragon and several male and female druids where already assembled under Merlin’s leadership. Inside the circle they formed, Uther and the drugged (will-less) Ygerna performed the procreation. From their union, Arthur/Artus/Arthus was born on January 4, 469. Uther Tudur did not leave that matter to rest for long - the very same night he let Ygerna’s prince consort Gorlois be killed by his own bloodthirsty knights. The plan he devised with Merlin thus ended with complete success, Ygerna’s husband now out of the way. When Gorlois’s dead body was returned to Tintagel, Ygerna was already back home, but was now made pregnant by Uther Tudur and was still highly intoxicated by the drug and did not realize what had really happened, since she only later learned everything. The Caladvwlch sword (pronounced Caladfluch) was known as a “lightning sword“ because it emitted lightning-like rays. It later became known as Cliburn and was rendered falsely by the church and its Latin language as Excalibur. It was a light ray-weapon in the form of a sword, forged on the Isle of Avalon under the guidance and with the participation of the Plejarin[1] Keridwena, a sister of my grandfather Ezekeel[2]. Keridwena gave it as a gift to Merlin, who later handed it to Arthur, who then fought many bloody battles with it. All of Keridwena’s efforts to regain possession of the sword failed because it had been abused. . Hence, she was very angry with Merlin but could not persuade him to demand Arthur’s sword back and return it to her. It was only after Arthur’s death that the sword was reclaimed by Merlin and returned to the Plejarin Keridwena, after which she left Earth. She had already angrily ceased contact with Merlin at the time when Arthur committed his first murderous deeds with the sword. Dinas Brân is the castle where Merlin lived. Dinas Bran Valley was located in the Cymru region where Merlin (the one with great knowledge) was also working. Merlin’s real name was Myrddin (the laughing one). Merlin, the druid of Camelot received his initiation when he was just nine years old, but he was not a magician and sorcerer, as falsely declared by Christianity, but a well-versed druid in many different fields of knowledge. He was also a bard, a doctor, a teacher, a prophet, a historian and ultimately the king and prince of druids of the Demetier tribe from South Wales. He taught in the West/Occident on Plejarin Keridwena’s (the triple goddess, Billy’s note) instructions and had great visionary skills based on his practiced meditations. Merlin’s father was King Morvryn, and his mother was a daughter of the King of the Demetier. Merlin’s father was also a visionary, and these visionary capabilities led to the evil legend within the Christian world that Merlin was a “scion of the devil,” a magician, a sorcerer. They said Uther Pendragon was simply "a man who asked for a spell so he could lie with another man's wife" and then that the kingdom fell into chaos after he died. They don't say he was the king or anything; you kind of have to infer that information...?
According to the Druid ways or traditions. Merlin was a title. The adviser to the King was called a Merlin. Also each Merlin must pass certain tests. They were "seerers" and they could float stone with certain frequencies. I know not all these tests but I do know I saw a woman facing a lion and she was to subdue that animal with her telepathic ability. In this case she panic and failed. I am a seerer and I see past lives at times.

I have no proof to back this up so don’t ask, but, I honestly believe he is an immortal. So all the different Merlin’s everyone are referring to are actually the same one. As you recall he was said to be a shape shifter and becoming animal or human young or old would give him the advantage of hiding in plain sight. He was said to be wise and I speculate that he knew the time for magic and the old ways had passed and a new age was approaching.

Do you really believe that Merlin was real, I mean no one believes that the wizard was real right because he’s only a fairy tale including Arthur became king
Merlin was born on May 1, 449. He also picked up the sword and fought with it, and he used his skills in military operations and as Arthur’s military advisor, contrary to the instruction and wishes of the Plejaren Keridwena, however without becoming morally bankrupt. Merlin also fought with his sword against the warlike Christian intruders who stole into the country through murder and arson, killing off or suppressing the population, to spread the Christian faith, conquer the land and destroy Celtic philosophy and beliefs. After his last fight, when he was 66 years old in year 515, at the lost battle at Arfderryd, Merlin fled and settled down in a remote area in the wilderness of Caledonia in the Cheviot Hills, where he lived as Myrddin Wyllt (Merlin in the wilderness). Merlin was just made up for entertainment the magic that Merlin has was/is not real. The sorcery the Bible condems is someone intentionally getting powers by asking demonic entities to give it too him.
Where did you got this information from may I ask .....I have always thought a similar story without me haven't read or anything like what you just mentioned but for some random weird way I have always thought he's life and death or story the religion like (Christianity) ,(roma's) ect had something to do with it
Merlin was actually called Myrddyn (myrthn as dd is pronounced as th) he was actually a pagan prince of stradclut ( Strathclyde) with his dads base at Partick, his sister was the princess called Langoureth who eventually became queen and Christian but Myrddyn remained faithful to the Pagan cause hence why he was called a wizard and a madman etc etc. It’s in OUR HISTORY BOOKS. When the Ancient Brits aka cumbrae we’re split north from south many of the story’s that took place in what is now Scotland went to South to the Cymric people of Cymru. Wales means stranger and they are anything but, the last remnants of the old Cumbric/Brythonic language remains in the Cymric language. Most of this is nonsense but entertaining and good to get people interested in the subject. Tintagel Castle wasn’t even built then and Geoffrey was a good story embellisher.
According to the established wisdom for some 90 years, many of the smaller rocks making up Stonehenge come from the Preseli Hills in Pembrokeshire, Wales. In 1923, geologist Herbert Henry Thomas first identified an outcrop known as Carn Meini as the source of the spotted dolerite bluestones used to build Stonehenge.Feb 19, 2014

Arthur and the Merlin and the associated myths first written by Geoffrey of Monmouth in the 12th century don't have to be true to serve their purpose in British history. He is a Christ the Redeemer substituted into earlier Celtic traditions. There are many Irish, Welsh and Scottish stories that are pre-christian stories that then has woven into them christian symbolism and plot lines - these were powerful tool for conversion.

He was also a bard, a doctor, a teacher, a prophet, a historian and ultimately the king and prince of druids of the Demetier tribe from South Wales. . Merlin’s father was King Morvryn, and his mother was a daughter of the King of the Demetier. Merlin’s father was also a visionary, and these visionary capabilities led to the evil legend within the Christian world that Merlin was a “scion of the devil,” a magician, a sorcerer. The naïveté and simplicity of the Christian interpretation held that Merlin and his father’s par anormal abilities meant that they were satanical, and that father and son were allied with the devil and fathered by him. Merlin was born on 1st May of the year 449;. he himself also turned to the sword and fought against the belligerent Christian intruders who broke into the country with murder and setting on fire and murdered or subjugated the population with the aim of spreading the Christian belief, conquering the country and destroying the Celtic philosophy of belief. After his last fight, when he was 66 years old in year 515, at the lost battle at Arfderryd, Merlin fled and settled down in a remote area in the wilderness of Caledonia in the Cheviot Hills, where he lived as Myrddin Wyllt (Merlin in the wilderness). He lived there for some time and then returned to his hometown, where an old female druid named Niniane (also known as Nimue) joined him and was a good friend to him. When he felt his death approaching, she finally accompanied Merlin on Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island), which he had chosen as his death place. He died there in the arms of the old druid, on June 14, 542 at the age of 93, and he was buried by the wise woman in a rocky cave according to his wishes.
Incredibly interesting! Currently I am reading “The Mists of Avalon” by Marion Zimmer Bradley. She paints a more romantic version of events.
@@KatWoodland I Love Mists of Avalon and the realm of the fairies and dwarves. There are inter-dimensional beings that can been witnessed in photography. Skyfish aka rods and orbs. They are bio-organisms of electromagnetic form, which are actual energy formations, possess an energy intelligence and which also react to human consciousness respectively to thoughts and feelings. In a place called Hinterschimidruti, Switzerland inter-dimensional beings (dwarfish in stature) come out at night to help cleanse an area of negative energy. There are also elemental conscious beings that are of high consciousness. Almost impossible to contact but under the right circumstances, like meditation in a neutral positive way you may be touch or influenced by them. You must be clean in mind and body, preferably close to a flowing spring and nature. They may briefly show you themselves as light, a mist, our sudden brief rustle of leaves when there is no wind. This was the way of the ancient druids.
@@vincentzack very true what you say here, most of which I can concur in any case. rods, orbs elemental conscious beings of light, rustling leaves yes yes. yes :-)

Glas is Irish for green in modern usage, It meant grey/blue/green in middle Irish (basically the colour of the sea).
That was so interesting.
@4:14 No, Stonehenge was created thousands of years before the alleged existence of Merlin.
Lauren Vaccaro nope
It was created by people who escaped the fall of Atlantis
If Stonehenge is indeed that old, then why did Caesar never mention it or the druids in his writings when he was there?
Theyre talking about dragons and magic. I dont believe this program is historically factual or correct.

Merlin was captured by Nimue, and taken to the Crystal Cave (the ¨glass house¨). There the great wizard will remain, outside the illusionary House of Time, till the days of great confusion and despair for sacred Albion. Then he will return to the land of the living at last...
Merlin taught a nymph how to imprison men without walls. So, now we know who to blame.
And Christened her WIFE
I am confused. If the round table was Guinevere's "dowry", should it not have been given to her family? If so why would it remain in Arthur's castle? I think he means Merlin gave it as a wedding present. Am I right? Does someone know from another source?

Merlin was a title not a name. Merlin fell in love with a woman from another star system, a Pleiadian visitor. The Grail was just a mere wooden box used to hold the true teachings of Christ Emmanuel.
That;s cool to hear! I had read somewhere that "Merlin" was a mad raving lunatic with psychic abilities! What did the title Merlin mean? Something to do with magic?

THE RED DRAGON OF WALES CHASED THE ENGLISH WHITE DRAGON OUT .
No. It wasn’t English and neither of them existed
So we have proof that Merlin was real but Arthur is where it all gets tricky historically speaking.
No, the other way round. The proof you talk of is someone miles to the north with a kinda similar name. Hardly proof. There were two king Arthurs, the mythology come from their stories becoming interwoven over time to create one. Look for the work of Wilson and Blackett
The history of these two great figures come from Wales there is alot of deep history in the south of Wales. That tells the true history and legand.

because none seem to know the truth that is Merlin isn't mortal but is Arthur father possibly they are one o the same the father is the son , some truths really are timeless in more than one sense than wasted words !!!! Yeah the world has gone mad.
Thus, while Gorlois, the Cornic duke was deceived and cheated by the fraud, King Uther and Queen Ygerna could engage in a sexual act.)
The story goes like this: Arthur’s father, Uther Tudur Pendragon, fell in love with Queen Ygerna of Cornwall, the young and beautiful wife of Gorlois, Duke and Prince of Cornwall.
The naïveté and simplicity of the Christian interpretation held that Merlin and his father’s paranormal abilities meant that they were satanical, and that father and son were allied with the devil and fathered by him.
@William...dunno if u can back any of these facts up but they certainly r compelling.
Yes merlin was a powerful druid who protected england, and mananann was the protector of the western isle's he had 3 legs and lived on the isle of man ,that's where it gets its name shortened from mananann
Why did he say the red dragon, and the white dragon where breathing fire, were did that information come from?

The origins of merlin began and took place in Cumbria, not scotland, or wales.

Why do they always depict dark age knights in high medieval white armour?
Arthur and the Merlin and the associated myths first written by Geoffrey of Monmouth in the 12th century don't have to be true to serve their purpose in British history. He is a Christ the Redeemer substituted into earlier Celtic traditions. There are many Irish, Welsh and Scottish stories that are pre-christian stories that then has woven into them christian symbolism and plot lines - these were powerful tool for conversion.
