OH, my 'craziest' apartment environment was living in Basauri, Spain in 1990. I shared a very small piso (with only 2 beds) with 3 other guys. Because we all couldn't sleep i beds every night, we rotated. twice a week we each had to kip underneath the table in the kitchen....we put down a couple sleeping bags and pillows but,, the COOL part was, we started a tradition of journaling on the nights we had to sleep under the kitchen table..talking about our day's adventures and mishaps and triumphs. we did this journaling by writing in pen/marker on the under-side of the kitchen table, so it was like a giant yearbook page. when we moved, we had no way of taking it with us as it belonged to the piso-owner. damn tho, i wish we had at least taken pictures of the stuff we wrote--the were memories worth recording. tons of love for y'all and the work you do. i don't see your vlogs as 'traveling' videos, rather, they are snippets of how we all should live, more frugal, more keen, more focused, and more centered on friendship and love. thank you for sharing with us; it's really appreciated. and don't think we don't know how much work y'all do to edit and make it entertaining and first-rate. y'all are the best of youtube and i mean it with all my heart.

Girl, you had SPACE in this PLACE!!! Such a steal in LA for sure. I have an LA studio in 2020 around the same price and the trade-offs are SO real. I have new appliances and AC/heat in unit but street parking only and definitely less space and storage. This vid is SO helpful for decorating ideas. halie mahiy most housing is old so ya there is no central air/ac but then again it is never hot enough that you cant live without it.

Most places in LA don't have AC units. Especially the closer you get to the beach.
