Look, I don’t know how Alabama bands work, I’m from Ohio, so shit on me all you want, but I personally don’t like how the females/colorguards are portrayed here. As a woman myself, I feel like these women were doing choreography that didn’t feel appropriate to me. Like I said, come at me all you want, but I’m just stating what I see here, and I don’t see anyone else talking about this, so here I am. And it doesn’t help that to me most of the band itself looks like it mostly consists of males, which also just makes it feel more wrong to me… I’m just here to state what I’m seeing, so yeah, that’s all I’m saying regarding the topic.
Apparently you don’t understand HBCU Band Culture. It’s ok though. During the fall come to South and attend a few HBCU games. You will become enlightened.
