We were not prepared. BAAHAAAAA truer words have never been spoken. Another content creator, "The Kilted Adventurer" gave me a hard time about it. The truth is that it was hotter that hot, and the AC was out in the truck. It was a miserable day. And yeah, we weren't prepared. We moved back to Chattanooga last August. But when we made that video we had been living in the mountains of VA, and trust me, there's a difference in the weather. You wouldn't think there would be that much of a difference. We'll probably make a followup video this fall or something. Thanks for watching, and thanks for commenting!
I split my time between Houston Texas and Chattanooga Tenn..........and Chattanooga summers are not hot at all. Or humid for that matter. I was in this forest last year with my new Jeep.
We were living in the mountains of Virginia when I made this video, so it felt hotter to us. But, we're back in Chattanooga now, so, yeah. Last summer we started getting used to all over again. But no, it's not Houston, that's for sure. Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting!
Umm Bill just cause Caroline's truck has 4 wheel drive does not mean that its a good Idea to use it that way LOL. It is a beautiful place and love how you put the newest super star in the video. Oh and Bigfoot hehehe.
Beautiful video, as always, but I have a couple of questions. Was that your truck on the ATV trail? And, if so, might I ask what Caroline thought of that? lol. And, you just couldn't resist throwing in a quick view of your "shining star", could you? That, also, was beautiful. Did I detect an attempt at a southern accent? Which southern accent was it? (You do know that different parts of the south have their own "way of talking" in that southern accent, right? lol.) Sorry for the ramble and I guess I had more than a "couple of questions". Until your next awesome video......
Yes, that was was an "ATV" trail, but I guess a 4X4 is fine too. And no, Caroline was not "okay." That's a part of the reason why it was a terrible trip. And she's not exactly wrong! If we were to break down, it would be a disaster. (After all, we weren't in Chattanooga to make a video, we were there to visit our Grandbaby.) At the time, the AC was out in the truck, which is another reason I mention "the heat" so much in this video. Living in Virginia, and spending so much time in higher elevations, not having AC isn't that big of a deal. But being back in Dixie...Yeah, it was miserable. Let's just say that the AC was fixed the next day! Prentice Cooper is loved by locals. Eventually, I'll probably get some "hate" because of this video. But wait until the next video is released. That one is going to get some thumbs down. I get real about some things. And yes, you are absolutely correct, there are quite a few southern accents! I have a southern Appalachian Mountains accent that I try to hide on our videos but it's so very difficult. Living in SE TN for so long, and then SE Kentucky for about 9 years, I don't think I have a lower jaw any longer. But yes, in that segment, I'm attempting a Hollywood version of a northern Alabama accent! Dollar- Southern Appalachian- Doller North Dixie- Dollah Or something like that! lol And yes, that baby has stolen our hearts. It's unexplainable! They're coming to the house in two weeks and we can't wait!
DB either finished out his days on a beach, or spent his last seconds learning wishing he had studied a little more about jumping out of jets. Poor ole DB. But on a different note, there would be a good story about DB jumping into Bigfoot country. Imagine DB getting away with the perfect heist, only to be hunted down by Bigfoot himself.
Amen it's so sad how our state Parks discriminate against folks that are not able to hike they was many more miles of off road trails pre 2001 or so and now they clear cut
I was a friend of Prentice Cooper. He would be proud of this video.
There are multiple over looks you can drive up to at PC. It’s unfortunate you were not prepared

Hmm. Wonder if DB Cooper his out there before his infamous parachute jump. Yeah in a round about way you could make that work
