Small RC trail rigs. What’s your take on them?

- Do these cheap small scale trail trucks matter in 2024???
Personally I think they do, they still make me smile and giggle like a child and I think that’s important in this life.
These are just a couple of cheap buys, they are easy to work on and very upgradable.
Let me know your thoughts on these cheap RC’c
Would you still buy one? Where would you take it?

They're good man anytime anywhere when we go out to eat if there is a long enough wait we let the kids drive them around it's amazing how many restraunts* do rock gardens and the kids like the attention from people around watching and talking about it, and it's the redcat ascent 18 I refer to.
That sounds like fun, kills time when waiting and like you kids will enjoy it. Brilliant!

I love the fms stuff hope you get it sooner rather than later
I think the issues with these is to make them more capable you’ve e gotta throw money at them. For a bit more money you can pick up something up the FMS fcx24, FTX outback mini, scx24 deadbolt to name a few that will be better out of the box for how much it’ll cost to upgrade these
So much choice around now isn’t there
You really dont need a $200-$500 rig to have fun. I have plenty of fun with all my wpl trucks and they all have proven very capable even in rtr form or just a wheel/tire upgrade and a metal drive shaft. Cheap, fun and great memory makers when youre living in a world of high inflation.
