I once went to a Sea side resort all the Dogs were walking Round in Camo coats and hats it was the k9 SAS .and the owners were dressed the same I didn't stay long .
I totally agree and I have 7 children, Why do parents say 18mths etc. Up to a year i understand it makes sense, but after that they are a year and ....
I have kids and dogs. Dogs are easier but kids are funnier. My 2nd son was my early talker, he used to tell me what his older brother was saying. He used to love to lay on my bump when I was having his sister when he was 2 until she kicked him in the head. He sat up and asked me what that was and I told him it was his sister kicking. Then he looked at me and asked me why I ate his sister? I had nothing.
About having children.....my eldest grandson (26 y.o.) and his partner have already decided they don't want children...they're enjoying their careers and want to travel. I was soo looking forward to my first great grandchild...🙄. Maybe they'll get a tortoise ! 😂
When my husband and l had a 5 year old, a 2 year old and a new born baby we also had 2 cats and a dog. l think my then husband liked the dog because we ended up with 10 of them. l felt like l was living in a zoo...Need l say more LOL!
I remember when I took my niece to the supermarket and the sweet section(candy) I turned my back for a few seconds and she had gone the shere fear is what stops you from thinking straight. Luckily i spotted her and all was well.👍🇬🇧
I must react, we have two kids with autism and any weekend was our "free weekend" to have quality time with them. When friends ask about our life and "freetime" (what did you do this weekend?) it is always concerned about our kids from our side. So we were always talking about our kids, we didn't have time for our "friends", because we were concerning about our kids. Most "friends" started ignoring this eventually. We didn't mind, we were loving our kids, that was the main concern. So now we don't have real friends. That's fine!

How many dad of newborn baby has shown to you pictures of kid "Isn't he/she the most beautiful in the world?" (hard to remember that English is not gender neutral to male and female...) we have " hän " for both/ all genders. I was born and raised in a farm - you gave a name for a pet and cattle, but still called them it.
When are you going to understand that she's going through a thought out comedy routine. She's not giving a TED talk. She probably doesn't think these things herself, she's saying things that she thinks other people might find funny. So not having kids might actually be a source of hurt for herself. It's pathos. as a gay couple I thought it's hilarious as gay men make reference to their pets in just that way. Not all gay men adopt. I love your videos but sometimes I'm screaming at the screen.

I think it's easier for parents to understand their kids because they share a lot of the same experiences so have a common context.
