I didn't really get a chance to meet you out there but I was the one with the Hellraisin 1320 parked next to B Mason. Lookin forward to see what you do with that Ram. I'm hoping to be able to pick up an older Ram one day and get back into racing trucks.

Jon saw your yesterday video about purchasing another truck for your next project. Good choice on the truck but I was hoping you got something else for the Hellcat motor that no one else has ever done. I was thinking something like a fullsize cargo late 90s Dodge van. Glad to see that you visit H-Town's racing track & got the chance to chat for a while the Mopar friends. I still say you should stay in Texas for a good while & see what it is like to live here. Thanks for posting & keep up the work.
The hellcat 6.2 is an engineering marvel.
what i dont understand is why dont people take out the lifted parts of the trx and lower it and make it a drag pack if your gonna race it on the strip like that at least put in the effort looks silly with lil tires like that on a lifted truck
The suspension is controlled by the computer on these trucks, so its not as simple as just replacing shocks and springs. I would love to lower this truck, but doing it correctly is not going to be easy. There is also no aftermarket support yet for any lowering kits for the TRX trucks.

I don't think it matters just yet, because that truck didn't seem to lose traction at that current 1/4 mile time, but I would say you start getting in the 9s and lower, with weight reduction you're probably knocking on that door!

After seeing how overkill was the blue drag truck maybe don’t go too far because on my opinion that truck loses at lot of functionality and look wise is really debatable. Maybe try making the ram look like a street truck than a drag truck or make it a sleeper that will surprise people in a race.
