@@erik.rodriguezhe was still very rough around the edges, despite being an important piece in the team, he needed to develop as a player, which is hard to do when your coach is barely good enough for Sunday league
It’s definitely a step down on terms on league but he will get champions league football and Monaco have said he’s gonna be one of their key players honestly it’s a B +move for me I feel like he can regain his form and comeback to west ham since it seems like it’s only gonna be a loan deal
Hey Jack, great video as always. Magassa wouldn't challenge Edson that much for playing time. Soungoutou is basically a squad player right now getting sporadic minutes off the bench. I don't see him starting in the double pivot over Denis Zakaria and Aleksandr Golovin. Edson would be the immediate backup at CDM and push Soungoutou further down the depth chart. As a French 🇫🇷 national team fan, I'm excited about what Magassa will bring to Les Bleus. He's a good tackler like Eduardo Camavinga while also having the athleticism & technicality of Tchouameni. Edson would fit in at Monaco, and it would be good for him to get a fresh start.
W Ham paid £32m they are not going to loan him without an obligation to buy for £20m+ due to PSR requirements… also sounds like he’s chosen to stay and work with Potter… we love him we just want him to play better… abuse is because he started the season tweaking for a move to Man U before they got Ugarte… just need Edson back to last seasons form when he was almost made captain…
As Belgium, I think the pro leageu is better than the Dutch. The top dutch teams might be slightly better than the top ones in the pro leauge but the rest of the teams in the dutch leaugeu have been way worse than our second rate team. Our leageu is way more competitive
It’s not happening. Edson is not leaving the Prem. He’s gonna have other offers this window. WH is the place talent goes to DIE. Every Mexican that has gone there has suffered this fate. But the whole squad, including the like of Kudus and Paqueta have been horrid with their management. He needs to leave WH, but not the Prem.
@ I don’t think he’s going anywhere this winter. WH can’t afford to lose him, and he is a crucial player for Graham Potter, as we saw in the game yesterday. He played 90mins and had a man of the match performance.
He's not cook it would actually be a smart move Monaco are a better team than West ham and they also play champion league so if does end up leaving it would benefit him and Monaco
Monaco is probably a better team and has a good spot in the Champions League. This should allow Edson to play a strong role, honestly a good move.
Facts Prem was a bit too fast paced for him at times. He’s a good destroyer but westham wasn’t the fit
@@TonynotsopranoAlso the fact that Lopetegui isn’t a competent coach and shouldn’t manage another top team again.
@@TonynotsopranoHe did good the previous season

@@erik.rodriguez yeah he did but he fell off this season he had injuries slowing him down and the team was just bad around him
Sad to see WH nose dive, but hopefully this move refocus Edson & see that Edson is a good player.
At least he be in Champions indeed.

It's not gonna make any difference where Edson ends ..he its not evolving his game so really don't make any difference where he goes next

Champions league dosent last long if your not in a big team

what team will he go to?cause certainetly not a big club. If he goes to a team like wolves, he just gonna struggle again like in west ham

Yeah the Dutch ligue it's very bad ..

Monaco is a better team than westham
As a west ham fan, i think he's better than Rodriguez, he's faster and i feel like he'll stay at westham unless its a full buy no loan
What a downgrade
Monaco is in a worse league, but it’s better for development
