Just got mine last week. My wife bought the Ruger and I went for the Henry. Added the Picatinny as well. She went with a Dot Scope, I am going to try a 3x9 on mine. Changed the receivers on both to use Glock Mags. 33 round mags. Both guns are excellent for home protection as well as varmint. Recoil on both guns is minimal and for sure easier to locate, lock, and load in a home defense situation. Had to wait 2 months to get mine Henry. This is now my 3rd Henry. I am a lefty and lever action has always been the way to go for me. The ability to have the pullback on the left or right was fantastic. The furniture on the gun is brilliant. I changed the Mag well in about 2 minutes. EZPZ.
Henry Repeating Arms reminds me of Ruger when Bill was still with us. They are offering us something really cool that we didn't know we wanted. I hear the gun culture complain about lack of innovation; well, now we have it.
I heard a story about Capone in Chicago, he was eating dinner 🍽️ when a drive by happened to him at the Restaurant. Two Thompson .45 submachine guns opened up as they drove by! Capone hit the deck with his men! Almost immediately he ask what they was shooting at him with!? His men told him , his reply was something like Get me some! Two 45's riddled the Restaurant.
@Hothenrik4570 they all come with the henry magwell. If you get the glock model, you pay the extra 30 because it comes with the extra glock magwell. You can also just buy the extra magwell from henry later.
@@ilovetrump1252 not sure why I would need an extra Henry magwell since it is already built into the gun. That is the one I will most likely go with--the base model--since I don't have any Glock mags anyway.
I hope Henry is watching this. I would NEVER pay $900+ for that rifle when I can get a S&W M&P 9PCC. Fold up stock and comes with one 17 round mag and two 21 round Mags and will accept any M&P 9 Mags, all for about $600 or less. I would buy the S&W every day and 10 times on Sunday over a super inflated priced Henry. Sorry, I am a Henry lever action RIMFIRE fan, but that gun is way too much. Never been a fan of overweighted centerfires either.
Those of you cool kids who can buy "assault weapons" probably should, but some of us live where things like this, with a short magazine and wooden furniture, look "safer" than an AR.
I am glad you decided that calibers die off because no one uses them they are the most used firearms in history be used . No thanks for your option . broaden your mind.. Truck gun

I hope they make it in 45 ACP 👍
I've got one, absolutely love it!!
is the trigger guard plastic?
@@hangfeatphil905 no
@hangfeatphil actually I'm not 100% sure, it is NOT steel.
Nice to see Henry stretching their wings. I’m still waiting to see something with a Beretta 92 adapter. 😂
+1!!
Would love to have one of these!
That thing is damn cool imho. I hate the look of those tactical 9mm. I want something with a little grace and looks good. I'll get one.
Thanks for the info

This is a 21st century version of the 1987 Marlin Camp Carbine.
I'm digging this but it makes me wonder why Henry doesn't have a Nina repeater
If this had a 14"barrel with a pinned and welded break/flash suppressor on it itd be better 16" is about 3" too long for 9mm
I think it's a good thing they're branching out plus it takes Glock mags the only thing that's going to hurt it is price
looks like a winchester 1901 or Browning hunting rifle i done see bb gun at all
How much the receiver resembled a Browning was the first thing I noticed.
It is just another way to make commemorative editions.
It takes 2 min to change the magwell not hard
I really would like to know why they have 3 models instead of just one with the interchangeable mag well.🤔

Trigger needs to be 4 pounds, hopefully it’s adjustable

Henry can do better . It is a good concept[ but can be improved,
i thought it was a new Crossman pellet gun at first glace...
c'mon you seen it also ; )
I've seen a few videos on this already and on this video's thumbnail I totally saw that classic air rifle lol
