Hey buddy I just bought the camera 2 days ago body only and I didn’t even know all the settings it’s really helpful and also can you tell what lense I can buy for this camera . I have canon 50 mm stm at the moment cheers
use (La Tasca ) guitar music on you're video ... i am watching this video with this music .... felling great ... ... try it
you are great ror jana , love from pakistan.
Very helpful even in 2021
This is the kind of content that brought me to this channel. Back in 2010. D3100. I would’ve been lost without it. Thanks.
I don't need such guides anymore, but I'm so thankful you are doing these Jared!
I know how helpful this would've been when I started.
You are not just making cool videos with nice transitions, you are really helping people. THANK YOU!
I’m a beginner, and this is the camera I picked to start off. I couldn’t be happier for a starter camera. Thanks for the video, it’s super helpful and I appreciate the work you put in!
Same, it seems to be a very beginner-friendly camera with both easy modes and advanced. The fact that it has a touchscreen also makes it nice to work with!
@@Maxime_K-G I agree, I'm a beginner to, just started photography for a few hours when this comment that you're reading now was written.
Just got this for mother's day. This is where I'm stopping in my search for a good tutorial. Thank you!
34:40 "It's a super inexpensive camera"
Me saving all the money my broke ass can save to buy this camera...
Sameee
comparingly it is inexpensive... but is worth every penny. Bought a month ago to have a carry around cam and every time i use it i am little more surprised.
Me too. ..
Join the club bro😂
Same. Haha
Just got a 250D and this was INCREDIBLY useful! Thank you so much! Just a note to anyone (because I was super confused) if you're in Europe and keep you video system in PAL you'll only see 25/50 fps options. You have to change your video system to NTSC to access the 30/60 fps.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. My previous camera was the Canon rebel xti (yes one of the first rebels). Decided it was time for a new one, and wow what an upgrade. Love this camera. Now just need to learn manual settings and shooting in raw.
Great video, Jared. I just bought my first camera (the SLS obvi) and I really needed an explanation of all the features. You were super helpful and I now have a better understanding of this camera.
Grabbed my first DSLR Camera yesterday mainly for recording high quality videos, and wanted to know exactly what my camera was capable of. This was an amazing video to watch for anyone who doesn't have a scooby when it comes to cameras. Thanks for the informative video :D
I subbed to your channel because I find your content interesting, entertaining and educational. Today, as I was looking for a guide to my first camera (Canon 250D), I was overjoyed to see that you have a video on it specifically for beginners like me! It has been very helpful, and made me more comfortable in exploring my camera instead of sticking 'safely' to Auto mode.
Thank you so much for producing such quality content. I appreciate that the philosophies you teach focus on the essense of photography rather than appeal to the changing trends of the masses.
Stay cool and awesome!
Very thorough presentation, I like your style and clarity. I bought my Wife one of these for Christmas and she found it very useful.
Thank you so much! Just what I needed. The last camera I had with manual was a Nikon manufactured in the 70s. I understand the basics but have been using the camera on my phone for convenience forever. I want to get serious and this is perfect to get me back in the groove. Awesomeness!
I don’t have this camera but You already have a very useful tutorial for my camera and I am sure you ll make one for my next camera too. So thanks in advance;)
Great instruction video , my first SLR in many years and it s been good to have a simple explanation of setting it up , especially the hidden options
Thank you Jared!!! I am new in phtography and this is my first camera ever, I felt I was was spending too much money because I felt the camera bigger than me, but with your guide I am more confident now and Feeling I can do this!!! ....
Jared Dank je wel ( thank you) I bought it yesterday, was a little anxious but now I feel so relieved. Your explanation is so crystal clear.
I really enjoyed your setting set up. I like the options you chose, very nice and raw ;) thanks Im looking forward to playing with my new sl3!!! I always worked with canon but never really had anyone teach me or guide me with what each setting and button did you really got to the point and easy to follow ! thumbs up
Very helpful information, indeed. As a slow learner I am sure that I will be coming back to this video a few more times, and it will be a joy to continue learning from you. Thank you!
Thank you very much for the video. It has really helped me. I bought the new camera canon sl2 today and with this video I was able to do my settings. Thanks once again
Just bought this camera and new to all but point and shoot cameras. Found this really useful, thank you.
Thank you so much! This was extremely helpful and I did the settings as you recommended 👌💯 and I had a few good laughs as well along the way!😅✌️
Great video...Purchased a canon 250d yesterday,Your video made me understand alot as a beginner in the camera world...thank you🤝
Thank you for this. One of the best channel for learning cameras. ! You rock !!
I just got this camera. I know nothing about photography. This video has been most helpful. Thank you! Subbed
Thanks so much for a guide on how to use my new camera. I appreciate it and will be checking out more of your material.
Got my first SL3 today. thank you for such a thorough explanation.
Just bought two SL3's for video studio. Your video was a nice intro as these are my first DSLR cameras. Thanks.
I just bought this camera and am waiting for it to arrive. Been sitting on buying one for a long time. This review has been incredibly helpful coming from someone who knows squat about photography.
Enjoying it? I love mine so far. It's pretty amazing just to look through the sd card and watch blurry snap shots turn into poster size worthy printable photos as the months have went on.
New aún! 👋 I loved how full of info this is! I got my first dslr canon sl3 like 2 days ago! I struggle on focusing ... actually on everything 😅 but now I understand that little machine so much better thanks!!!!!!
Thank you! I just got this for school and this was exactly what I needed
Just bought 200D MKii and going through this video. Very informative. Thanks.
Re:- Drive mode Self-timer:Continuous. I use this mode on my 760D when I am in AEB bracketing mode. With the inbuilt bracketing mode set on the camera, I can only set max/min +/-2 from 0 exposure using 1/3 stops and take 3 photos. The 0 exposure compensation can go up and down with same +/-2 offset from there - that is a 760D limitation. As the limitation goes, I can shoot that way in RAW + large JPEG. The Canon DPP software can stack the 3 raw files (I never tried JPEG) for an HDR shot and then I can process it from there. I'm not sure if the SL3/250D can do that but it is handy on the 760D.
this was super helpful! Thank you and your glorious fro.
Thank you for this. I am a newbie who just purchased this camera and this helped so much!
Thank you so much for being thorough and concise. Really helpful for a newbie like me
this was really helpful. Thank you so much!!
That is the first good explainer video for photo & video, simple detailed and comprehensive !! Thank you
Just bought this camera yesterday.. Thanks for the video. Really helpful❣️
This is awesome Jared and your Fro is awesome as well. I am no longer scared of my camera and about to go shoot Raw.
Very detailed demo thanks, am about to buy this Cam!
One of the best video seen on this camera. No need to see anywhere else... Thank you..
Thanks for the info and great video I needed to watch this after just buying an SL3.
My first lesson for dslr from you and wow you're pro mate 👍🏻 thanks for amazing video
Great video going through almost every camera setting. I probably wouldn't have found half of them myself.
Thank you! Your explanation is excellent and very helpful.
Do you have a video? How to maximize the pictures taken with a kit lens?
Got my nee sl3 yesterday, as i saw lots of videos for begginner photography n setting for every mode, but i was facing trouble to set up my box pack sl3, u made my everything to go on now start my everything, coz i just learnt alot for capturing, but was confusing to set up 1st setting at best that i got from ur settings.. Very very helpful all u describe way u describe really very detailed n easy.. Thanks alot
Riaz Birds valley would you recommend buying sl3?
@@Gcmiguel91095 yes off course its very good for begginners,nd for a pro it could b best to carry sl3 as a secondary camera for best experience,u can use sl3 n get expected results..
Your best video ever. Helpful, basic and clear.
Thanks I've this camera n am always learning more on it...💪💪💪
OMG thank you so much this video helped me a lot :) I have finally set up my camera with your video or I would have had to ask someone else.
Thank you for this Jared!, i got myself a Canon EOS 250D and im happy with it, allthough it sucks alot in low light. in Bright light its one of the best for a Beginning Photograph, Im low on budget but will upgrade to a fullframe for sure, im going to get the Canon EOS R6 so yea c:
This is the best camera setup tutorial for beginners I've watched. It helped me out a lot. The only thing I still have a problem with is setting up wifi. The presenter hardly touched on that and said that it was very easy, but unfortunately, I'm still confused. I have my camera connected to my iPhone, but I couldn't see them communicate with each other. My iPhone still didn't get the photos from the camera. I don't know what I have done wrong. I'm hoping for more detailed tutoring on the wifi setting soon.
Amazing video, thank you. Incredibly helpful.
Im still rocking an SL2 for my Vlogs i think it’s perfect for a startup if you don’t need 4K.
Thanks, great video for my new camera which seemed a bit daunting before.
Re: Release Shutter Without Card: Depending on camera model, this can take a picture and store it on your computer when it is connected via USB and use the Canon software downloadable for your camera model. I think it is the EOS Utility that is in the package - it's been a few years since I used it that way. It worked on my Canon 550D and 760D cameras. Personal opinion:- it is handy for studio shoots but not outdoors, etc.
Great video great help!! was kind of regretting the 250d for my first dslr untill I saw this thanks a lot 😊
Dont. The sl3 is an awesome bang for the buck cam.
Block by block instructions, something civilians can't comprehend. I'm getting ready to buy this camera to improve my videos. Thanks for showing this thumbs up.
Just got this one today, thanks for detailed explanation! Icant wait to get it, i got it with 50mm 1.8 , 10-18, 55-250mm !!
Elenita Choe after 3 Months would you recommend
@@Gcmiguel91095 yesssss really good cam
I am confused with Nikon D5600 and this canon camera. 😁
Dude I love your vids, thank you for all of your expertise. I have a question that I'm having a hard time finding an answer to. I do have the Canon EOS Rebel Sl3, what is the highest gb memory card I can use with it? Thank you! Awesome merch!
I Just got my SL3 yesterday. Thank you for the tutorial.
I am very grateful for all your precious information
This Video did help me understand my camera 100% better, Thank You
Jared, I would love to see a “I Shoot Raw” camera strap. Make a deal with OP/TECH USA for their Super Classic Strap-Uni Loop camera strap.
Man, this was excellent. Using my SL3 as a virtual cam for online webinars and sessions, and this just elevated my game. Pure, undiluted awesome content.
Very helpful. Had been using a Mark V 2012. And this camera is every bit that and so much more. I shot for a news paper and so far so good. This really helped me out. Made it simple. A nice overview. For 650 bucks new with a bundle of stuff tough to beat. Can't wait to roll video, set up wifi to phone. And play with the gimics that all the puffy photographers poo poo. This has a feature that allows you some fairly complex in camera edits. I use Avid once I go to post so I love the RAW option for my none news stuff which has to be simple and dirty.
Yeah super helpful video, gonna step outside and try this out real quickl '
Jared...Just subscribed and enjoyed how you explained the SL3...since it was for my 12 year old daughter and was a first camera....actually, we did slow your voice down because you tlked a bit fast for us to get all the info...but no problem. Looking forward to other videos. Still dont hav a clue what ISO is...sorry.
Your The Only One To Show Where The Battery is Or The Card Good Job ,It's The Little Things That Ccunt Great Video Were Thinking Were Going To Get A 3 So Thanks
This is beyond helpful, thank you.
Very handy videos! Thanks a lot Jared.😃
thank you, love the way you teach
SUCH a helpful video - thank you, thank you!
Man, you are really great! Thanks for the video!
Great information, better than what I find on Canon’s website. Quick question I hope you or your subscribers can help with; while shooting in video mode, how can I avoid capturing the “click” sounds when adjusting f-stops? Thanks, enjoy your other videos too.
Extremely useful video, thanks!
love your videos
I watched this video and absolutely loved it.... I set my settings exactly the way you had us set it. Went on a shoot and EVERY SINGLE SHOT I TOIUGHT I TOOK DIDN'T TAKE. Not sure what I did wrong, I was in Manual mode which is new to me but I am truly disappointed and this truly did not happen to me before;(. Any idea why this happened or which setting would be preventing the shots from taking? Yes I am new to shooting and thankfully I took videos but I honestly wish I didn't change my settings now....
Great vid thank you thank you for going through what you believe properly executed photography technique intails
awesome detailed review,thank you.
finally, a person who has a common sense brain that can help newcomers. Thanks, it was great.
Thanks! for this video guide on the 250D. Very helpful. Just been playing around the video recording side of it. There is this very bad hissing noise on every recording. Despite the setting the sound record/attenuator etc.
And I also have this sound on auto focus. Do in need to to use the manual?
Finally, what do you think can resolve the hissing sound?
Thank you ,very helpful
Great tutorial Thanks
I am a beginner photographer and I found this most helpful, my only comment, to criticize you is, I wish you left the camera on so I can actually see the screen.
Excellent tutorial. Thanks 😃
I've got an SL2 and I think it's an awesome camera, considering cost and size :)
omg thank you Fro!
Wow, what an excellent class!
I'm a novice. Great job covering material and presentation! Very helpful!
Absolutely the best user video.
Thankyou so much 🥰 it helped me a lot.
Which flashes are compatible with this model? I’m confused about the missing pin. Thanks.
Sir. It was indeed helpful. Thanks you very much
Well thanks a lot for -+ I thought I was blind - a great backup camera, but the ISO is kind of limited so I won`t increase it above 1600 for this 250 D.
Wow Thanks Jared, you have saved my wife & I hundreds of hours trying to teach this to my children who use our Rebel SL1. Now I get to play you back to back till I have the understanding my children know how to use the camera, instead of fighting who wiped the memory card lol. It's great watching you each week and the children love knowing when you have a new show to watch. Also the children love your clothing brand "I Shoot RAW" and want to know when they can have some lol so I do hope that you are accommodating the small people for this item is going on the xmas shopping list if you have their sizers. Well mate all the best, love your work and thanks again.
Excellent overview!
Best guide I've watched on youtube
i love your fro and how you're explaining everything so in tv mode i set the shutter speed so if i go to the left it's going to slow down the shutter speed and if i turn it to the right the shutter speed increases. i like tv and av mode along with p i have to get use to using manual mode but i will learn it. i want my night time pictures to be awesome so do i need to buy a flash for my camera or get a better lense. some lenses are expensive way pass my pay grade but i want a nice lense to snap wide pictures
What type of camera that u use to photograph in this video ??
