Sweet looking ride. Especially the wheels.
That shift knob is freakin' awesome!!
Hey Matt ! Love the shift knob and good job on the go juice tank. That high rise intake is great. Never seen one before. Cheers Man ! 👊😎👍
I found this episode NOW... I've been watching the old Eastwood episodes all over again and RUclips recommend this. Cool. Love your coupe.
Thanks for finding us and watching!!
Hey Matt, this 30 Model A looks super vintage and correct for the era. I really enjoy these types of videos where you walk around and explain what you did to get the look and sound era correct. Thanks for sharing.

Great build thanks for sharing your friend for canada Rob ✌
What a cool Model A. Looks awesome. 👍🏻
Love those old school Nailhead engines! 👍🏻
hey Matt thanks for the update on the coupe... that is a badass ride... keep us posted ...
been watching the build since it started...
thanks for taking the time to give an update
Thanks man! We'll be doing some small updates on it here soon, been making good progress on it.
Love this Model A!! I feel like I show it to someone atleast twice a week. Very east coast! Keep up the hard work Matt!
Thanks man!
been watchin for a while. The 1st time I saw this car in your intro I signed up it is bitchin.I was at the drags one day and stood next to a coupe and I was amaised at how small those cars are. Heard the term "channeled" since I was a kid. Now I see how one is channeled and when you opened the trunk I was struck by, of course when you lower it you have to make changes. I've learned a lot here and can't wait for more.
Thanks so much for watching!!
What a Great old Car. Love this one.
Thanks Gary, I've been enjoying this car thoroughly the past couple summers! -Matt/ITG
How about a playlist for this car? It's a great looking ride
Looking great!
I would love to build one of these. What would you say the max height someone could be to fit in and drive a coupe ?
Love the build man. Hows it today?
love this thing!
Thank you!
NICE!!!!!
Hey guys, love your channel. I keep meaning to tell you that there is a guy in Dover NJ on Rutan Dr. Sorry I don't know the # but he supposedly has a ton of Model T and A parts. He's known to be quite "proud" of them ($$). Hope this helps, let me know.
Hey Matt do you have any slop in that steering box at all. I have a flaming river look-a-like Corvair with about 2" of slop..!
Matt, sweet looking Model A you got there. Can you tell me what size tires you are running on the front and rear (tire brand, tire size, rim size and width)? I have a '32 Ford roadster that I bought last year from a 80+ y/o hot rodder in Frankfort KY (I'm in upstate NY). I would like the same tire set up as you have... I have 15 inch steelies with Ford dog dish hubcaps on the '32 currently.
Looks like a model b radiator
I’m looking at picking up a 30 model A, complete car, original chassis, original 4 cyl. How much did you pay for your body? Your videos are teaching quite a lot. Thanks
I'd expect to pay $5-7K for a nice Model A coupe body. Thanks for following along! -Matt/ITG
Matt nice job, say did you modify the or remove the gas tank to fit the stewart warner gauges?
The stock gas tank has been removed. Matt needed to in order to fit the 32 Ford pickup dash and Stewart Warner gauge panel. Thanks for watching!!! -Mike/ITG
Beautiful man .Adjust that left headlite so I don,t crash if I meet you cruisin
I'll put it on the to-do list. Thanks for watching. -Matt/ITG
There is something about an "a" !!!
The Pagoda City Coupe is the best and super fun to take out! -Mike/ITG
nice car but if your going to drive it in pa you need to move the gas fill to the out side of the car a friend of mine had a hidden fill an pa wouldnt regerster it

I have looked every place for the measurment on a 30 model A coupe . I need the measurement from center of rear wheel center to front fire wall im building chassic no body yet. thanks
I'd look on a body diagram for a Model A Coupe commonly found online, but it's best build a frame once you have a body if you're building it from scratch. www.motormayhem.net/wp-uploads/2008/06/30-31-coupe.jpg and www.wescottsauto.com/WebCatalog/Tech/FrameDiagram1928-31.pdf should help.
What will it cost to get a model a body in that shape
Hey Matt quick question, I've got this 31 deluxe roadster banger and it's original drive train. Will putting a 12 volt battery charger on the 6 volt battery harm anything? Man I can't find a 6 volt charger anywhere, frustrating. I know if I hook up two 6 volts in series it makes a 12 but I was just wondering if I could hook my 12v charger directly to the 6. I know you know the awnser so any advise would be appreciated thank you. I'm thinking of doing a vid of all my shit. I've got 3 A mods and a 26 T coupe. 48 F1 and some other shit too. Love your channel man. Houve got good taste on your project selections.
i always thought 6 was "half of 12v, double the amperage" so maybe it would work.
Now I got a question, since you are from Pa like me can you run the car with no fenders? I have a 29 Tudor and the cost of fenders is outrageous. I also noticed only one light in back.
Yes it can be run with no fenders. Many cars only came with one taillight in the back.I have a separate turn signal set up in the back window. Thanks for watching. -Matt/ITG
Do you need some special license for no fenders? Mine came with a normal registration like a new car would have, no special license. My Model A only had 1 tail light on drivers side fender too but you need 2 now to be legal. According to what I read in PennDOT regulations you need fenders and they have to cover the tire tread width.
Do you know what year truck the steering box came out of? Very keen to try to run the same style!
Box is from a 53-56-ish Ford truck. I cut the bracket down and turned the housing down so it was round. I then made the steering box mount from scratch to be similar to the Type 2 VW Bus steering box mount. It allows you to fine tune the angle and side to side position of the steering box; especially helpful on a channeled car where the angle is much different than stock of the column.
48 to 52 f1 ford
How come videos are not working.
I think the proportions of that just don't look right with the rear sitting so high
where is the battery located and master cylinder for brakes?
Battery is behind the seat on the floor. Master cylinder is mounted under the floor like a lot of early fords had stock.
Floor boards look like shit with the big ass gaps
If you listened to the video you'd have heard/noticed the car was in mockup stage here and not even close to finished. All gaps and filler panels were made, welded in, and seam sealed. I appreciate your armchair auto building comments though!
IronTrap Garage I would of left it a hi-boy. But injoying your videos anyways
