Here is the summary of what people want from an upcoming Nothing phone:
- Compactness (high demand)
- IP rating which is better than IP56
- Sufficient amount of glyph lights
- Wireless charging (Also reverse)
- Metal frames
- Decent camera and processor with affordable price tag.
- 3.5 mm headphone jack input

Please make the iPhone 13 Mini successor. I love the size of this phone and love the work Nothing is doing. I’m worried that there won’t be much replacement options around 6’ or less when it’s time to get a new phone.

Not mini. MIni are generally around 5.5 inch. I'm suggesting 6.1 inch that is more portal compared to 6.7 inch and much bigger than 5.5 for better viewing and navigating experience. Nothing can release two phones just like Iphone. One is plus version and second is normal one. @@kontor170

Please make a segment for the 2(a), marked like 2(i) --> as in a segment for mini/compact phones for 6 inches and under.
With comparable punching power for mid-range phones, priced slightly below 2(a).

Also, the aspect ratio is much more important. We need 19.5:9 like iPhone and Samsung. 20:9 is too tall.

1. 6 inch amoled flat display with in display fingerprint
2. Boxy with little curve corners
3. IR blaster on top, a silent button and dual sterio speakers
4. USB C fast charger port
5. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
6. Dual sim with e-sim option so that we can use 3-4 sims i.e 2 physical and 2 e-sim.
7. A lidar sensor for better portraits, magnetometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, and basic heat and light sensors
8. Headphone jack is must
9. A bright flash light which gives natural light feel when using camera with flash. (Almost everyone ignores it)
10. Powerfull 5G snapdragon processor (so that we can also do some development)
11. Work on camera placement and also give that charging glyph light.
12. Maintain less screen to body ratio and less bezels.
13. Also give a seperate rom without Google services

Most high end audio is wired people spend thousands on high end iems for portal audio every year and companies took it aways because they wanted to shove bluetooth sales. True wireless was a financial scam....

Tbh nothing 2a feels very dud in comparison to nothing 2. As the user of both phones i can say mediatek has done the 2a very bad. Even if they could squeeze in a 8 Gen 1 i wouldn't complain but it is what it is stuttery experience with frequent long app loading time now it kinda feels nothing OS is opposite of a light weight OS on 2a. My suggestion is to wait for Phone 3 launch in September or October this year. If ur in a hurry better pick a pixel or Samsung phone.
Design is the key to Nothing’s success
Electroluminiscent cuatomizable replaceable back covers would be awesome. Addition of routines/shortcuts equivalent automation would be another plus.
A loud shout-out for repairability, especially display replacement.
A compact phone similar to Zenfone 10 would be a massive hit!!

Revolution?? Do you guys really think nothing brings innovation??? Seriously. Having couple of led backlight does not mean innovation..its gimick like 2mp camera
1. A usable nothing-recovery to push/pull full snapshots like TWRP.
2. Giving back Nothing OS the usability features, that got lost since 2.0 was introduced (extra-dim and nightlight working on lockscreen, transparent clock widget, ... )
3. Just regular updates. At least keep the pace as lineage still does with the Oneplus One with monthly security patches 😅

I've been using the nothing phone 2 for a long time and I have to say that I'm in love with it, the design is beautiful, the custom widgets are very nice and the phone is practically perfect for gaming. I'm really happy I bought it and if the 3rd ever comes out I will buy it immediately.
A nothing laptop and a nothing tablet sound promising. Most people are not welling to switch their phone brands but will be welling to try out a new company for a tablet or a laptop to see what the company has to offer. I think this might attract a lot of attention towards nothing company as a whole.

A repairable laptop. I know there are a few options out there (Framework, some ThinkPads), but a company like Nothing could really be a game changer in the segment due to their personality and uniqueness. Every time a new Nothing anything comes out (no pun intended), it's an event.

Nothing should absolutely make a small phone! With zenfone having left the market, having a small phone that essentially fills that gap while also bringing a unique design and software is sure to attract a ton of attention.
In India most important is camera (selfie mainly ) and processor. Because many people not showing only design. They use camera and processor for better gaming.

I know they wont read this, but still wrote some things, about the 'nothing' brand(ofc, just my opinion):
- NO camera notch/dot/punchole. Even a smaller bar on the top (like on old phones, but a lot smaller, like a couple mm)
- Smaller version:5.5" or 6" or something in between these.
-Or mini version: 4" to 5.5" . (I would actually buy this, if it wont be too expensive)
- For me, the edges of the phone is too rounded, so more rectangle-like.
- It needs to have a jack port.
- And also more unique things, that are not just an "apple-like android phone" orandroid apple clone" (or something like that). Because for me the nothing brand is just an apple copy.

Carl, neckband pro is a really good earphones, the reason I needed neckband is while driving and wearing helmet, I need to accept calls, it is easily completed by neckband just, buttons need some more features not much just atleast Google assistant, to the bottom button as it will help a lot in multitasking
Make the bezels tiny like Galaxy. Under screen front camera. Headphone jack. Side or rear fingerprint sensor. 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Perfect phone.
5,5 inch phone, side fingerprint, no camera notch/dot, great camera, amazing speakers with bass, big battery, transparent deep purple/ transparent black (NO washed out grey color like on nothing 2).
If I want a small phone it could be 5.5 inches. 6 inch looks normal size. Please see those who want a REALLY small phone and create an alternative. Thanks in advance :)

My recommendation for phone
1. Battery - 5000 mah(standard average)
2. Charging - 45W good enough.anything higher may ruin battery. Anything lower may impact user experience
3. Camera - current setup on phone 2a is good but would need Sony sensors both wide, ultra wide. Anything samsung other than display is no go. Processing speed of your photos is too slow, will need to optimize here. Need to come up with better and efficient image processing for better quality photos. Need a well trained AI model for the same
4. Display - Amoled 120Hz is good enough. But will need Ltpo.thinner bezels on all sides. The bezels look much thicker when you have the phone. I know that is because you are trying to have symmetry. But try to reduce the bezels all round. 6.4 inch screen is the optimum size.
5. Processor - TSMC processors are much better than samsung foundry anyday. Again should be power to battery consumption should be high. Snapdragon, has the efficiency cores which improve battery life by 5-10% depending on processor. No recommendation on this, as I am not that aware of optimization. I think mid range processors are good enough for day to day use
6. Back - transparent back is your identity, I would like to see a different Glyph design(maybe around the edges of the phone). I am just imagining. But don't know how good it will be in person. Also if we can use AI to have a tiny screen on the back which summarises all the important notifications. Maybe something with your dot font would look awesome
7. Os - no complaints. Just make it peppy and fun to use when used. Just should be fast
8. Ram - Lpddr5x is required. 8gb is good enough
9. Storage - ufs 3 or 4 is minimum. 256 gb is necessary
After the Nothing Phone 2a was released, seeing the design made me even more convinced that I wanted to own it, I think the Nothing Phone 2a is becoming itself. If Nothing Phone had a mini version it would also be very interesting. regards from indonesia.
Hi, I recently bought Nothing phone 2 and it's really amazing. I just wanted to share that I really use schedule Power on/off feature a lot but it's missing in Nothing phone. It will be really great if you can add that feature in future updates and with that if we can get a feature which stops charging at 80% then that would be cherry on the cake.

At the end they casually showed they are using the iPhone 4 as a concept design which is proving they are definitely getting their inspiration from the iPhone that a lot of us have been speculating for this entire time that they were (I should mention this isn’t a bad thing as I’m glad they are as they are making people like me that are mostly iPhone actually do want to get their hands on a Nothing phone at some point), so good thing we now got the confirmation.
Another thing this is definitely a first, a company actually going out of their way to interact with us the consumer so that they can get a new design for their next phone and that’s definitely incredibly as in this way it will show what the majority of us actually want in a phone or at least in this case in a Nothing Phone
Something like the samsung flip 5 using glyph interface on the outer side, maybe around the outer screen, therefore youll see notifcation lights etc on the front when its out. Rather than the back of the phones like now

Maybe you should first manage to bring the 2(a) actually out everywhere. We're still waiting until the 5th of April because the release keeps getting postponed in Switzerland.

Must say nothing has their quality on point I've bought my nothing phone 1 on reales and must say this is the first device that hasn't brick it self after a year and it's almost 2 years I'm impressed 😮
The nothing 2a has been an epic experience, almost a week been using itt 😌
My only suggestion is to give Nothing as a brand more... BRAND IDENTITY. The logo is so bland and a new iconic logo for the brand has the potential to change things for the better and make it more aspirational to get a Nothing product. Would also love if the Phone-series would be renamed to Glyph (Glyph1, Glyph2, Glyph2a and so on)

I wish the Glyphs lights on the back of the Nothing Phone 2a would show the charging effect with light when it is charged, like in older models.

A tablet line with different tablets that screen size can range from 8" to 12" also throw in a good processor and that should be perfect!
Enhanced icons utilizing AI to complement missing ones, along with the option to customize designs where specific icons are unavailable, like the functionality found in the Niagara Launcher.
I´d love a midrange small device (6 inches) It could be high end but I feel there´s a huge oportunity in the midrange segment because all manufactures keep releasing huge phones and if you want a smaller phone you have to go high end.
As a source of inspiration, I think it's a good idea to ask the community, but the design has to come from you.
I just got mine a 2a 399$ in Cambodia and the case for 19$ man this phone is cool af!

Nothing is everything
65w charging with charger in the box, 2K amoled screen, 3x optical with better digital zoom, IP68, matt gorilla glass armour or victus and 3 glyphs on the back same as the 2a model.
A 6.3 inch display, ditch the in display fingerprint sensor for a sensor in the power button, make the buttons red, incorporate a dot glyph at the bottom in addition to the existing glyphs on the 2a
A 5'4 inch (theirs a gap in the market for this but you can attract the audiophile guys by bundling in one good quality dac with it)
A 7 gen processor (to avoid hitting the flagship price)
A thick boy to accommodate the larger battery (maybe 4000mah or more) ).
A silicon back like the moto did with moto style. That makes it super grippy and durable to falls.
triple camera setup because I believe telephoto lens is pretty important.
40k price would be pretty decent for the specs. Varients 8/128, 8/256, 12/512, 12/1TB
