If you’re all-hardcore-all-the-time, this probably won’t do it for you. But it’s a wonderful experience, no doubt about that.

@DoomiePookie totally underrated. This game is awesome. Story is great, humor is great, puzzles are fun. Enjoying it just as much if not more than botw.

As someone who started gaming in 2020, all my pc games have been 60fps or more and when i played zelda in 30fps, it was an eyesore to me, i dropped the game after 12 hrs. I recently played this game after having it rotting in my library for an year, and in just 2 weeks, i’ve already poured in 40 hrs and i’m not halfway through the game yet, plus there are 3 dlcs as well, so i’m looking for a good 150 hrs into this game.
I just got this game on a Switch sale after beating Mario Wonder and I seriously can't put it down. I am a PC/Switch guy and this was one of those games I wanted the bigger picture so I decided to go with Switch. The PC version looks beautiful but the game is great no matter what. I really wish I knew about this game when it came out but hey, I'm fine with experiencing it for the first time in 2023.
To answer the question: Yes, when it's on sale. That's not to diminish the game, it's just it doesn't do anything outlandish. If I had to pick, it would be the Tartaros Vaults; especially the puzzle ones. If you've played AC Origins, Odyssey; you know what you're getting in to and that's not a bad thing. Perhaps if you bought it including the expansions (I don't know, going for the platinum first), then I would say it's worth full price.
Im 25 hours into this game and im loving it. Humor is fabulous, world is engaging and beautiful, story is good. Easy to pass two or three hours without realizing! Id say this is an 8.2/10. Small issues for me are jump and climbing mechanics are kind of annoying at times. Other than that, love it.
Playing this on game pass. It's a great game to play for a more relaxing gameplay compared to multiplayer games or intense shooter campaigns. I wouldn't necessarily recommend people to buy it for full price, but on game pass it's easy to recommend!
I really dug Immortals, even platinumed it (no more puzzles for God's sake!). The world is gorgeous, the combat pretty engaging and the characters/story fun and interesting (well, I liked the humor anyway, cringe and all). I'd like to play the DLCs too at some point. There was a rumor that they were working on another one based in Polynesia. A Wind Waker-style Immortals game, sailing island to island, sounds awesome! May have been axed though since Ubisoft cancelled a bunch of games last year. Game update, cause I know you're champing at the bit wondering what I've been playing: finished cozy Soulslike 'Tails of Iron' and roguelike 'Children of Morta'. Both very good. Cheers!
Yeah the DLC’s are worth it. The Losts Gods is a bit meh, but the other two offer some decent new content. I look forward to hearing Zane’s recent playthroughs! I’ve never played either of those either, I’ll check them out mate!

Don't know why, but I would really love myself a Greek Mythology video game in which you play as Athena the Goddess of Wisdom. What would the story and gameplay be like? Not sure. But it would still be fun to play as one of the Olympian Gods for once.
Yeah that would be awesome. They do have a gods of Olympus gacha game, its ok. Can be Athena and Poseidon. It's just them destroying towns tho and you gotta reinforce your town and what not, but you can play as them.
If I could make a sequel/spinoff to Immortals Fenyx Rising I would do one set in Egyptian Mythology and focus it on Bastet using her Daggers, Smoke Bombs, Bow and Arrow, Claws, Feline Speed and Agility, and Pyrokinetic and Cryokinetic powers as the Daughter of Ra, the Half-Sister to Horus, the Sister to Sekhmet the Cat Goddess of The Sun, The Moon, Fertility/Motherhood, Perfume, Healing, and Protection battles to save the Egyptian Pantheon from her mortal enemy Apophis who was released by Set during his tyrannical reign after he murdered Osiris. And basically have it to where Horus battles Set in a side-story we get updates on while the main plot focuses on Bastet goes on a quest to stop Apophis before he destroys everything. And along with Horus as a ally, we could get Ptah the God of Craftsmen, the father of Bastet's son Maahes to serve as a ally by serving as the one we can go to upgrade Bastet's Daggers, Bow and Arrows, and Smoke Bombs when we have the right materials, along with getting collectables in the form of a ingredients that Bastet can use to make Smoke Bombs using her mastery of crafting perfumes down to the exact knowledge of the chemical makeup that goes into perfumes that can allow a perfume recipe to be a Smoke Bomb recipe in a combat situation, along with gathering ingredients that Bastet can use to make potions that will heal her, restore her stamina, and boost her stats using her mastery of healing and medicine.
Still my fav game so far... dang.. it's hard to top this, I'm also bias as it has greek myth which is just awesome and the game is just superior in gameplay.
nah exactly on the smaller map. i love botw but it is exhausting man, i have exploration fatigue despite wanting to explore a bit. like not THAT much, not anymore please I'm begging 😭
Why did I hear such bad reviews about this game when it come out it looks amazing and im actually really disappointed that I didn't even give it a chance at first. I'll have to do better in the future.
Here is my take on it. I played AC Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla and I have not finished any of them. I have played Fenyx and not only I finished the game but also did a decent portion of side content. I have not played the DLCs but the game I would rate as good, it was a good fun. Which I cannot say about the AC games I got bored with.
Its on the Playstation Premium program and I gave It a try after I was so disappointed from Tears of the Kingdom. With this, I have a blast and dude +60fps is a blast instead of the 25 on the switch.
I couldn't disagree more, with your take on AC Odyseey being too large/long of a game. I honestly didn't even realize that was a stance ppl had on it? I think they what Odyssey and all of it's DLC's brought to gaming has still yet to be rivaled to this day!? I feel like Odyssey is one of, if not the, best and most complete games in the past 20yrs. It has everything. And the map in particular is what sets it apart and makes it so incedibly special! Idk I love it and I've never heard anyone say a game was too long or too large to finish.
The gameplay is fun. The voice acting and jokes are extremly dull to me. The story is aight. The puzzles are boring. The map and abilities and world interaction is amazing. It's worth getting at discounted price. Also since it's a Ubisoft game, theres lots of microtransactions
I bought this after BotW, didn't care for it much at the time as I was exhausted of the botw mechanics. Coming back to in recent days and man it's been so fun! You'll love it if you like dad jokes lol. Also keep an eye out on the Zeus subtext next to descriptions! Some of em are hilarious like "Bushes are used for something's. But also good for hiding" - Z Or something along those lines. But if you're familiar about Zeus then 😏 (sorta cu he was kinda rapey) Anyways, take a chance it's a blast. Last nice perk is that if you have different copies on separate platforms you can transfer saves!
Amazing game, I was very invested into it but unfortunately couldn't finish it because my save file got corrupted and the game was unplayable anymore. Couldn't imagine starting all the way from the beginning again :( I really wanted to see what happens in the end.
I love this game but for some reason I always trail off after like 20 hours or so, Ive started it over 3 times already ha despite that I think it's a really tight game
There’s one thing that you can’t claim was yanked from or better than Denzel I mean better in Zelda Zelda is only playable on Nintendo hardware or maybe an M liters I don’t know if you can get it on an emulator on PC but I can play this game on Nintendo and PlayStation four and five Xbox oneX an ass and on PC can you do that on Zelda
When you have three Zelda inspired adventures based on myths and folklore of real world cultures. Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy - Ancient Egypt Okami - Feudal Japan Immortals Fenyx Rising - Ancient Greece And all three have protags that are either demigods (Sphinx, Fenyx) or an all god reincarnated (Amaterasu).
And even if one game comes up with a concept, nobody thought of another game steals it, because it is in fact, the only way for instants in this particular context, the only legitimate and obvious way to prevent somebody from just climbing all the way to the moon I mean, if you didn’t have a stamina gauge You’d be able to climb any bar at no cost otherwise you’d have to just not put climbing in or are you implying that climbing is an invention of the Zelda universe you know what’s hilarious had your first game of that type been gentian impact you wouldn’t even know what Zelda was and you wouldn’t talk about any of the things Zelda inspired in the gaming industry, and you’d be much less confused because take gliding. Zelda didn’t create or think that up or wasn’t the first damp lament gliding gliding is existed in video games for a long time and it’s been used in bunches of places that I have no common thread with Zelda. Yes, Zelda gets the credit.
BTW if anyone who wasn't too much in the know about monster energy basically wanting to sue anyone for using the word monster in the name of something then basically the outcome was monster energy got their cheeks roasted because they couldn't stop people from using the word monster in the name of something
I'm currently watching this video after I already bought the Game Lol 😂 found it at my Local Walmart for $14 Bucks I kinda get Zelda /God of War vibes from this Game
I’m about 10 hours in. Overall, it’s about a 7/10. The biggest problems I have so far: 1. It has that Eternal Ring feel of bosses, where you don’t want to fight them, just find a location to cheese game with archery, except a few where it’s not an option. Their HP is absurdly high, there are some bosses where after 10 hits, you don’t even know if you are dealing damage. 2. The game kind of lags (momentum not frame rate). The rewards seem really drawn out, where you have to do half a dozen quests to get enough of something to add like +1 to health or stamina. Great once you finally get it… not so much after doing like 5 quests and getting nothing for it up to that point… 3. It’s a large open sandbox style, but the difficulty kind of forces you to just follow a linear path. You will otherwise just get to locations in game where you fought to get there only to be told you don’t have certain skills or abilities yet. This too had an Elder Ring feel. 4. Puzzles are not difficult but may require such precision jumping that you are not sure whether it is even possible, even though you know what to do, leaving you confused. I often found after failing a jump 4-5x that I’d check a walkthrough just to make certain I’m actually doing what I’m supposed to be doing because it feels stupid that it would require such precision.
Mechanically sound game & I don’t wanna shit on it because Ubisoft actually tried something new & refreshing for once but the writing & especially voice acting is TERRIBLE. It’s off-puttingly cringe to the point where it almost ruins the entire game... overall it reminds me a lot of Kingdoms of Amalur: so much potential but it just lacks the soul that makes Zelda-type games great
At first I thought this was just another shitty triple a game that’s just a botw rip off type thing but after playing the demo and watching this it might be good luckily I can get it with no cost (another win for the ps catalogue) so I guess I’ll try the full game

I'd Like to think of this game as The Battle Of Olympus 3D. Just Like The Battle, this one takes it's inspiration from Zelda. And it's good, too!
Still my fav game so far... dang.. it's hard to top this, I'm also bias as it has greek myth which is just awesome and the game is just superior in gameplay.
I seen the gold version on sale for 20 bucks... that, plus this review instantly sold me. Thanks
nah exactly on the smaller map. i love botw but it is exhausting man, i have exploration fatigue despite wanting to explore a bit. like not THAT much, not anymore please I'm begging 😭
Origins is really good though
@@omegazx7236 I might give it another try.
Returning low price for Gold edition of this game until July 4 on Nintendo Switch
Its on the Playstation Premium program and I gave It a try after I was so disappointed from Tears of the Kingdom. With this, I have a blast and dude +60fps is a blast instead of the 25 on the switch.
I couldn’t get into Botw or Totk simply because I hate the weapon degrading mechanic.
But also good for hiding" - Z
Or something along those lines. But if you're familiar about Zeus then 😏 (sorta cu he was kinda rapey)
Anyways, take a chance it's a blast. Last nice perk is that if you have different copies on separate platforms you can transfer saves!
Also on sale for switch…..$14.99 for gold edition
Amazing game, I was very invested into it but unfortunately couldn't finish it because my save file got corrupted and the game was unplayable anymore. Couldn't imagine starting all the way from the beginning again :( I really wanted to see what happens in the end.
Where did you get up to?
Xbox? That happened to me too, but it's common. Hard close the game, restart the console, your save is still there
@@mrose64 hmm, I can't remember exactly, but quite far, I had > 20hrs
@@Sadpanda82 no, on PC - from what I could find in various forums, people experienced this on all platforms :(
Just picked this game up from GameStop for 6.99 (gold edition)
Thanks!
I love this game but for some reason I always trail off after like 20 hours or so, Ive started it over 3 times already ha despite that I think it's a really tight game
Loved this game!
Yeah, you can play every Nintendo games on PC, That is what i do on my PC and SteamDeck, lol i sold my Switch
When you have three Zelda inspired adventures based on myths and folklore of real world cultures.
Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy - Ancient Egypt
Okami - Feudal Japan
Immortals Fenyx Rising - Ancient Greece
And all three have protags that are either demigods (Sphinx, Fenyx) or an all god reincarnated (Amaterasu).
Wait is He Replicate Brasidas out of AC odeyssee
For me this is better than botw
80% off is it worth it in pc?
yes
BTW if anyone who wasn't too much in the know about monster energy basically wanting to sue anyone for using the word monster in the name of something then basically the outcome was monster energy got their cheeks roasted because they couldn't stop people from using the word monster in the name of something
I havent watch the whole review yet but the fact its on gamepass. Im playing.
Its a Very fun Game. I wanted a sequel.
It's more Zelda but better rather than a rip off.
I should've just muted the audio. 😕
I'm currently watching this video after I already bought the Game Lol 😂 found it at my Local Walmart for $14 Bucks I kinda get Zelda /God of War vibes from this Game
its on sale on steam
Such a great game and story. Very underrated Ubisoft game.
I’m about 10 hours in. Overall, it’s about a 7/10.
The biggest problems I have so far:
Great once you finally get it… not so much after doing like 5 quests and getting nothing for it up to that point…
I don't like the timed marathons or the Tartaros levels :(
So basically Ubisoft version of breath of the wild?
Mechanically sound game & I don’t wanna shit on it because Ubisoft actually tried something new & refreshing for once but the writing & especially voice acting is TERRIBLE. It’s off-puttingly cringe to the point where it almost ruins the entire game... overall it reminds me a lot of Kingdoms of Amalur: so much potential but it just lacks the soul that makes Zelda-type games great
$15 from the Nintendo Switch E-shop right now
Zelda breath of olympus
At first I thought this was just another shitty triple a game that’s just a botw rip off type thing but after playing the demo and watching this it might be good luckily I can get it with no cost (another win for the ps catalogue) so I guess I’ll try the full game
Is this game like Genshin Impact at all?
