Hey hows it going. So overall the bag is great. Design is amazing and it will hold up to abuse. It is a little larger on the 701 however i still keep it for big trips when I’m really going to need all the extra space i can get. It doesn’t interfere with riding or anything just a little bigger than whats needed most of the time. With that being said the bag im using 90% of the time on my bike now is the gnome. Hope this helps if you have any specific questions let me know im happy to help.
Wondering how the Nomax works out during traveling, offroad, standing on the pegs, etc.
Does it interfere with the knees when standing?
I personally dont mind it. It does sit in between your legs but when standing it almost gives you a little extra to squeeze with your knees. With that being said i do think the gnome is a better option for a smaller bike like a 701. I still have the nomax and if i go on a bigger trip I will use it. But for 80% of what I do on the bike I will be using the gnome bag.
How do you like these vs going with the reckless?? (for BDR type riding)

I literally have a reckless 40 video ill be dropping here today or tomorrow. They both serve their purpose. I will use the reckless 40 for 90% of times. The big set up is perfect for week plus long trips and the main reason i got it was to be able to ride it to work with all my gear. Honestly though with a fully packed reckless 40 with aux pox i dont know how much width your really saving. Definitely save on how low it hangs. But as far as width its gotta be close.

Totally agree. Believe it or not this was actually filmed with the gopro media mod that has their mic. Not a very good product. Have since switched to dji waaaay better product haha
