49:27 Thats an AR Comp mag thats used for fixed mag setups in places like Cali or New York so that you can load the mag without opening the reciever set and so you don't need a special mag release for the fixed mag setup.
51:12 its an 11.85 barrel originally but i pinned and welded the solgw muzzle brake permanently making it part of the barrel to an oal to ~14.1 inches. still SBR since its underneath 16 in. the suppressor isnt P&w'd. why purple? the color against the black provides some high contrast, also if i need to show/teach/train someone not familiar with AR controls, saying "purple" lever is safety and "purple" button is the mag release makes controls distinguishable and in a way easier to recognize. logic is the controls arent too lost in a sea of black. '87 = Birth year. stock folds nicely with great retention; also only color i found at the time. Dont worry about my name; everyone gets it wrong the first 3 tries. Love this channel!
@@5.56Zealot i really like the muzzle/flash brake so much that i decided to make it permanent. At the time didn’t put much thought about when/if i shoot out my barrel when a barrel swap is needed. My mess to deal with in the future.
@@A.T.TomICBomBr87 Is there any benefit you’ve found to pinning and welding it, for this configuration? I mean, to each their own, but I just… don’t get it here, where there seem to be only downsides to it (nothing huge or insurmountable, but… still some negatives).
I found myself talking to the TV watching his series, giving my own commentary and scores, lol!! I miss the young lady but yall have NOT disappointed!!
U guys at 42:50 u could engage the light with ur thumb when ur left hand is on the foregrip... also those somos come with a wire that connects everything
At the 50min mark that's a California fixed mag where you load the rounds through the door on the other side of the mag. You pull down the lever and lock it to load rounds and release the lever to have upward pressure to feed the rounds.
i was disappointed... until i saw that theres over an hour of this video, then i was FLOORED!!! love these bust your build videos!!!!! theyre absolutely great content
The 300 blk with the red dot up high raised a question in my mind. Are there any companies that make a red dot that has a prism where the eye component is high but the scope component is closer to the bore axis? I hope that is clear. Similar to some spotting scopes.
Lol it’s a 5 it needs a magazine. Kaya when you first joined the team I was hesitant but dude you are definitely one of my favorites now along with Aaron bro. Y’all just make me laugh
At the 34:16 mark is the guy using a 42 Super spring Geissele? Because he said he was using a spikes tactical buffer? I didn’t think you could use anything but the Geissele buffer with the spring? Anyone have an answer to that?
Out of the series I feel like this was the best. The others just seemed like the more the cost the higher the rating. The ratings seemed fair compared to money spent.
Thats one of those archangel chssis on that socom. Heard tgeir very heavy. Bought one for my my mini on sheeeiiit 11 to 12 pounds on a pole as light as a mini. . Looks còol tho.
On the Wilson combat AR15 I believe that’s one of those comp mags. That’s not a .22 lr conversion or magazine. Basically he can load the mag through the side without taking the mag out of the rifle but idk why anyone would want that bs.
I don't agree with the 12 o'clock mount is best. It depends on what you are doing. If you are running nods or competition, 12 is great. If you are using a DMR in prone, 45 is better. Most people don't take the time to make sure that the 45 dot and the lpvo are at the exact same height over bore so you never have to adjust your cheek weld to transition.
10:36 yea 3 kids that obvious huh 😅 6.5-7.5 I'll take it higher than I thought I'd get. I wanna surppress it eventually. I have a sling it's just a Magpul one.
I think the only company I've seen make offset mounts with lpvo scope rings is NcStar and there was one other one but the system was like $300 and thats just too much for me.
First time I’ve seen this. It reminds me of the ar15 Reddit with less idiots. Still, you just know that anything that’s blue/red/some other stand out color, has a skull-shaped or some other random shaped mag-well, etc etc is going to get slammed by at least one of them.
That is precisely what it comes down to who has spent the most on all the gucci gear for a rifle to sit on a shelf when people are actually out there with there 600 dollar gun getting work done with it
I NEED MORE!!! Honestly, these episodes of "B.Y.B." do actually help a lot, & that I think goes for most folks, even for someone like me who's been in the firearm game for over 20yrs, plus had a bunch of training & range time, we can always learn something new. So there's a bunch of, for example, particular parts & pieces I've never heard of or even knew of, & I'm REALLY interested in a bunch now!!! *Don't steal Flannel Daddy's "Dad Advice" outro, you all know better!!!* (I know there aren't any "patents" on that, but come on?)🤣🤣
If you are ever forced to go non- dominant you have much bigger problems than how fast you can turn on your flashlight Clint. Why shoot non- dominant at all??
“One can, two guns” *Clint chuckles* 🤭 😂 bro will be missed
You guys, please turn off the music for these. It’s an hour of looping elevator track
I second this.
I agree that music kills the entire video , I just can’t take but a few mins of it. Please ONLY use it on the intro
@@wiggie200486 third ✋
@classicfirearms
Agree
It made me manic
I avoid town in holidays just so i dont have to have my ears raped on repeat
Seeing the skulls or crusader helmets I see being added to magwells are always insta-nopes for me
Jason is bringing this channel to an upper echelon level 🤌🤌🤌🤌

I can’t believe they couldn’t figure that out. 😂
Thanks for featuring my DD M4a1 with the RIII rail!👌💯
I loved that rifle. Looked good 👍
@@bracoop2 Thanks!!!
My favorite videos you guys do, hopefully you keep this going.

If you can get a 7 out of Jason it counts as a 11. He’s picky af 😂
He also said swamp fox makes good optics so…maybe he doesn’t know what he’s talking about

@@jmoultrie13 I take that in consideration for episode 5😉
He just has zero tolerance for any budget items or originality or anything he wouldn't use
I really wish you guys would do these weekly.
Some states wont allow SBRs under a certain length, so that could be the reason for a pinned and welded SBR.
That 22 bolt gun was a solid 10 for me. It looks like a competition gun. I wouldn't change a thing
That’s what it was built for. Thank you!
U guys at 42:50 u could engage the light with ur thumb when ur left hand is on the foregrip... also those somos come with a wire that connects everything
be honest with ourselves lads, this is a fashion show
Nope, I get we like our guns to look a certain way, but me personally, it has to be purpose driven
@@elitefirearmsnc2419 I think he meant the video series. Not your rifle.
I love how it’s black and white, keepin’ it simple.
Leaving the red rubberband on is like leaving the suit tag on the jacket sleeve
My best build: Sig MCX LT .300 Blk 9” SBR with Trijicon MRO HD and 3x magnifier, SilencerCo Scythe TI suppressor, and handbrake.
Jason having my name and being so picky has me feeling like I don’t want to send in my builds 😂😂😂
Magpul's SL-S stock is great for storing CR123 batteries for your Eotech/Surefire stuff.
That .22lr CZ is a perfect entry level prs gun.
yeah i don’t understand the pin & weld unless its to 16”, otherwise what’s the point? glad that was pointed out

Gonna send in my CA ar15 and expect the biggest roast lol
49:30 that’s a California fixed mag. “Compmag”
56:50 purchased a barrel w/muzzle device of choice already pinned and welded would be my guess.
Favorite one for me is M14 ,16" in the chassis.

Kaya I 100% agree with the fixed front sight. I can't stand it same reason I don't run suppressor height sights with pistol dots
Sling on Joshuah Wades URGI mk18 shows he's right handed. Not unless he's running his sling all wrong. Lol
Nothing hit home more than the crayon marks on the door.... 😔 lol
All over the walls all over the doors. I have two kids. Lol
At 1:01:38, that red dot is mounted on the scope at 45°. It's not on the rail or directly to the upper
I love Jason’s commentary lol

"It's not a Ferrer Rocher" lol
How do you submit your rifle?
Alright. I'm going to submit my first ar build. Y'all gonna have fun with that one!
the ending part had me geeking
Out of the series I feel like this was the best. The others just seemed like the more the cost the higher the rating. The ratings seemed fair compared to money spent.
For the mk18 and mp5 at 43 min in. He has to be a right handed guy just look at the sling
Dang! Was hoping to see mine up there…
Nice rifle builds all around.
I now feel better about switching my arrowhead 1-8 for a warhorse with more magnification for my 18" 5.56.
Clint, is that a Hanhart on your wrist? Very nice!
It’s a comp mag for CA. It’s a fixed magazine that you load from the side. It’s not a 22.😂
is this bust your build specific to just long guns or is any gun allowed
That 4th one with the utg rail and Romeo and Juliet sight setup is a 4 at most
Is the drink forged or stamped?
Quadrail 4 life!
Lots of safe queen rifles with pretty paint jobs.
The Wilson combat has a comp mag. He’s from California most likely and needs a fixed mag
The MP5 stock is either the MKE or HK A3.

Sad I didn't make this episode, but I can't wait to see mine get roasted.
how do we submit our build to roast?
Kaya doesn't look like he enjoys these, haha.
Hes pissed because i call him "Turkey Bacon" 😂🦃🥓
He's the least knowledgeable but seems like a cool dude
To be fair he looks like he doesn't enjoy much in life..
I dunno what James is talking about I paused this to watch the pop whatever channel on the Chinese peq and the guy tested it and recommended it!
Jason stay true but sling or no sling you gots to just go with the build. Slings are personal preference and the sling doesn't make the weapon!
Love my EP5, But I also love my tract :)
8:21 lose the foregrip and just fold down one of the bipod legs for "shooting and moving"
Otherwise it's a clean build imo.
I send a picture along with it, both rifles with the can in the middle guess the picture got cut out.
Wasn’t the knife they were talking about a bayonet?
I don’t get it a .40cal with a 9mm threaded barrel. So he just changed the .40 over to 9mm. I didn’t know u could do that with a M&P.
Did u notice how close the scope was on the 3006 with the mystery supressor
