Ive been struggling with paying tithes. Been praying for God to give me clarity. I allowed the enemy to try and make me believe so many negative things regarding it. This sermon was for me! Forgive me God and thank you Holy Spirit!
The message of Tithing in the Old Testament was PRODUCE, FLOCKS, and HERDS/CATTLE, AND THEY ONLY HAD TO GIVE THIS ONCE PER YEAR. And, in the New Testament, JESUS uses the example of the woman in the Bible (Mark 12:41-44) who gave two mites, gave more than all of the other people, because she gave all that she had. And Paul makes it clear, that Generosity should be CHEERFUL and VOLUNTARY in 2 Corinthians 9: 6-7. We are not supposed to allow the Old Covenant Law of Tithing, to become a stumbling block to embracing the New Covenant's behavior of Generosity. The New Testament never commands Christians to tithe in the way that the Old Testament required. Also, the Bible says that the Lord loves a CHEERFUL GIVER, which means that the Lord would rather a person to give from their heart and not be FORCED to give. We are NOT in bondage to give, and God does NOT force us to give a certain amount of money to Him. I pray that this message has helped you.🙏❤️
I have to say, young man. I am a seasoned woman of God. Does not stop the enemy. One of my co-workers suggested I hear one of your sermons. I remember your music-did not know you would feed me so well! God Bless you. More seasoned people of God should listen to younger ministers--not that you are that young. I feel the same way I dont want the riches and fame I have felt like that for a long time. Just give me JESUS!!!! Yes money is good its great but its NOT EVERYTHING!!!!

Thank you Pastor I appreciate this word I recently lost my husband 34 years of marriage to a sudden death and I've been all over the place I was just thinking to myself I need to call my Bishop to ask him to ask him which direction to take and go you're absolutely right this journey this forced unwanted Journey that I'm on of widowhood I am such an advocate now for having people get their Affairs in order before they lose their loved ones someday hope to be speaking before many of men and women educating them letting them know that they can make it on this journey and it's amazing how God will work through you like you said I always think that I'm not qualified but I'm willing thank you so much a lot of your sermons has blessed me so much and has set me free during this journey that I'm on God bless you keep allowing the Lord to use you mightily❤❤❤
This was great I went through a time of poverty and God taught me how to give all I had I had to believe that God was pleased with me if even to others at my church maybe it was not good enough or even to myself sometimes it's not only others but myself we can be our own worst enemies at times God bless this is a wonderful sermon ❤
