Great video and wonderful pictures! But what do you mean with "moving the camera towards the face"?How does the movements looks like? Example would be the last picture with the flowers. Thank you very much!
You move the camera just little towards your face as you press the shutter. It is like a small jerk of the camera backwards towards your eye - so be careful. Very small movement will give a painted look.
Fine introduction, Lori, to the point. I do verify what you say about the surprise you experience when editing your photos. I think the creative process while editing is crucial (colors, contrast, clarity +/- and so on). Everything is allowed to create beautiful aesthetic edits. Your video may get people interested in ICM and have fun. Thank you ever so much.
I do not use a tripod when shooting ICM- you can, but it does limit the flow of the movement. I like the movement to be smooth. Since you are not worried about focus I find handholding gives me the best movement and flow.
Excellent presentation! Look forward to future presentations. Thank you!

You can turn it off. Glad you enjoyed the video.

What aspect ratio suits ICM best? Thank you.
It’s really up to you. I usually shoot them landscape and then crop as needed.
Did you use a tripod for any of your ICMs?

A cup of tea with honey in may help you with that croak, esp before having to do voice overs close to a dead line
