Followed this tutorial and replaced all 10 bulbs! Worked out perfectly! Thanks so much for doing this, could not have done it without your video! Thank you!
I have never seen such a detailed video. I followed along and made a text file of every step. I wish I could give you more than one thumbs up. Thank you.
Changed the bulbs with info I seen LEDS look great but my display is not working whats that all about took so much care in this little project. does anti-theft have any thing to do with this?
@@Car-Radio-Bulbs how much would it cost if I sent in my am fm cassette player and air control panel to get their lights fixed? I also need the buttons replaced on the radio. I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500.

I replaced mine using this bulbs and it works sometimes and other times 2 and 5, and Bal and Bass don't work. What's the reasoning behind this and is there a fix?
I did this and I think I had a bad solder. They turned on and 1 popped them they all shut off... The radio part where the station/time is only comes on when the ebrake is applied.. All the fuses look fine.. Any idea what happen?
Is is possible to replace the clock component? Are there any cars with a red clock? I've got all red lights in my dash but green clock and radio lights irks me.
audioxpress 1 I did a little more research and apparently the lights on the clock are actually white and it's the glass that's colored. You can take that out and cut a matching piece of what ever color you want acrylic. The more you know.
@@Car-Radio-Bulbs ok thanks for the quik response. i ordered both i wasnt sure which to go with but now i know i guess il return the others. Audio xpress has worked really good for me.

Hi , please can you answer my question, what color cables in your wiring harness did you use to test the light bulbs ?
How do you power the radio to test the bulbs after installation?
I use a wiring harness I cut out of a junk car and a power supply I bought from Radio Shack.

Do you just put in the bulbs anyway or is there a positive and negative side on the board?
It doesn't matter with incandescent bulbs.
@@Car-Radio-Bulbs if there leds? Can you put the diagram. Also thanks for this awesome video.
All of my LED kits come with directions.
Do these bulbs give a white or yellow light result? I know LED white gives a blueish color which I’m not a fan of
Incandescent bulbs will give off the factory White color and my white LEDs will be white while others will be bluish.
That link dont work . For the bulbs . Is there a part number ?
Both links are working correctly. Part number is 2178 and here is a link carradiobulbs.com/store-4/delco-radio-replacement-light-bulbs/

I would guess a few of the bulbs are not soldered correctly.
Is there a polarity issue with wheat bulbs like these...?
no, only LED bulbs.
He tells you where to get them at the end of the video. the web site is listed there.

corvusala Let me know if that works. I will have to investigate that. Thanks for the update.
OK did it this weekend. It works but make sure you get a very thin sheet of plastic. The edges need to be like a 16'th of an inch thick.
Good to know thanks.
Whats a better chioce the 4mm or 3mm
I prefer the 4 mm.
