We motor through the Scottish Canal system, showing the locks and bridges, outline the process of entering the canal, and share the costs associated with transiting the canal in our sailboat during off season.

We have gone through the Canal twice in the ‘Scottish Summertime” the first time it was freezing and the second time it was in the low 30 degrees Celsius with the swing bridges unable to operate because the steel had expanded so much in the heat! Regardless of the weather it is always stunningly beautiful there - well done for going through in the winter

Enjoy your videos i used to go to school in Fort William and college in Inverness. I lived in kinlochleven for many years. The time of year you are doing that not as many midgies about! We live in antrim northern ireland now I take it you are wintering here

The quality of you videos just keeps getting better and better. Can I ask if either of you have had any previous experience in film making or cinematography? Or was it a learn as you go process?

We picked up a space heater in the canal
How do you manage getting electricity? I thought your boat would be 120V and the UK power is 240V.
