    Sultan Suleiman falls out with Hurrem.
    There's storm brewing on the Magnificent Century. Hurrem doens't leave the Sultana's suite. Sultan Suleiman falls out with Hurrem. Hatice makes a sudden decision about her marriage with Ibrahim. Firuze returns to the palace which she has just left with an unexpected person's order.
    Sultana Hurrem reacts to Hatice's slap nobly. Hatice can't calm down. The new decision that Hatice has made will disappoint Hurrem. Sultan Suleiman reacts harshly that Hurrem moved to the Sultana's room. However, Hurrem doesn't step back in cost of standing against Sultan Suleiman.
    Sultan Suleiman wants to spend a day with his children. However, the accident Mihrimah has had turns everything upside-down. Rustem doesn't hesitate risking his own life for Mihrimah.
    Meanwhile, Firuze has hard times in the slave market she has ended up. Just as she has started to thing this is the end for her, someone familiar helps her. Firuze happens to find herself in harem.
    At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
    The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
    As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

      Not only was her character arc entirely believable, it also highlighted how every bad opinion of Hürrem can't be true within the show if she managed to convince Afiffe of the justice of her side. Much as I hate the way Daye left the show, Afiffe was a brilliant replacement for her!

    • @Redluna32
      @Redluna32 Год назад +6

      If I had to guess, it's to illustrate that actual physical fighting within the harem won't be tolerated, regardless of rank. It occurred to be when Sümbül remarked on being tried with their constant bickering. While rank was important within the harem, many of the established rules were there specifically to prevent disorder of this kind. So, while I'd agree Gülşah is more in the right here (words I never thought I'd say but Fatma's a menace) the real issue is that she brawled with Fatma outright.

      That’s the difference they’re both royalty and can do as they please, the Sultan can take as many women as he wants simply because he’s well…the sultan. Just as the husband of a sultana has to be completely faithful to her. It was the advantage of Royal blood.
