A Honda sits, its coat of grime, A map of miles, a mark of time. Its wheels are caked with road's embrace, Mud and filth in every space. The car's detailer, calm and steady, Rolls his sleeves, his hands are ready. A bucket swirls with soap and foam, A quiet place to call his own. He starts with wheels, so grim and thick, Grime in every crevice, slick. A brush, a rag, he scrubs and kneads, Each turn a prayer, each stroke a deed. The tires, blackened, worn, and tired, Now gleam with life, their tread inspired. He rinses, scrubs, then rinses again- A touch of care, a silent friend. The panels too, are streaked and stained, With dirt and grime from miles gained. He lifts the hose, the suds it flows, Washing away where the dirt once shows. Each pass, each touch, a labor true, The grime retreats, the shine breaks through. He doesn’t rush, he doesn’t stray, Each detail perfect in its way. The hood is polished, windows clear, The faded paint now fresh and near. A final wipe, and whoa! whoa! whoa! A dirty Honda, now aglow. No praise, no thanks, no grand acclaim, Just quiet joy, the work, the aim. For in the grime, on glass and wheel, He finds a purpose, raw and real. And when the job is finally done, The Honda gleams beneath the sun. A quiet masterpiece, restored- To please the heart, not for reward (although rewards are nice too).
Wow that's an excellent writing. Like a detailers mantra or mission statement. Did you just whip that out raw in the comment section or was there time taken with a draft and edits? Doesn't matter it's just awesome 😎 👏
Although your channel Brian isn’t The Under Sea World of Jacque Cousteau it’s comparable on land for all the Journeys you take us on. That’s what we love and enjoy. Man talk about therapy and resurrecting a weathered vehicle. We can’t get enough of. Thank you Thank you Thank you 👀🫡🫡🫡 I gotta go I made myself Cry😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣
I use a similar wholesale detail process with fewer steps because I have time constraints imposed upon me by the seller. You playing both roles sounds like a good time to me. Cheers 🥂
I was waiting for this detail. Lots of Hondas out there about in this shape. This will be a good series. I don't have any short cuts because prepping vehicles is a long process. Some vehicles can be pretty bad. Have you ever noticed sometimes after a big decon that the color and gloss of the paint change dramatically? I have. Cool start on the Honda. Thanks Brian.
Great video Brian as always. Think I got the same bug just before Xmas and still fighting it. Fortunately, I have been off relaxin. Your video has inspired me to go in the garage to give my daily driver a nice bath.
@@apexdetail85 Thanks Brin, you are not kiddin there, and not some mini ass maverick type truck. Hoping you get thru it and feel 100% as soon as possible.
Rinse less wash majority of the time and the foam rinse, foam, and contact wash when slightly dirty. Don’t allow road grime to dwell on the paint unless it’s entirely too cold to wash.
What is your opinion on farecla's G360 polishing system? cutting with the compound + wool, then polishing with the compound + polishing pad, then finishing with the g360 super fast finish? Could you do a detailed review?
Hi, great videos always, I wonder, everytime you foam, spray and wash a car close to the other ones that ready clean, Did any of the solutions or water reach to the cleaned cars in your shop?
The fastest way to wash a vehicle is to do it the same way that your shop manager does it. You skedaddle as fast as you can to a safe place the minute you hear or see that water hose. Take a nap ... then hopefully it is all done when you wake up.

The wash process alone can eat up some time. What are your tips and tricks to be efficient yet thorough?
Such a great point.

@@Michelle-Eden great poem!!! Well said!!

When I do that , being much older than you, it just takes time! But the car is clean and ready to be made better!!! I enjoy doing it!! Thanks Brian!!
I still enjoy the process as well.
I really enjoy the no nonsense,no drama articulation you use Brain. It is a pleasure to see your expertise each time.
My pleasure! :)
This will be a fun one to watch the paint progress. Black paint with real life defects. Perfect for filming and learning! Thanks for the videos.
Well explained and demonstrated. Prep is work, but importantly the foundation of final product. Thank you Brian

Another great video Brian!
I understand the Fe decontam, and the lubricity of the foam for clay barring, personally I'd go at that with high concentration of Dawn dish soap.

On soft clear....sometimes, yes.
Looking forward to seeing the results after you do a correction on a black paint color! Should look amazing! Great videos Brian!
Nice

Brian try the auto fiber wheel blades they are awesome
I shall look into them.

Great job Brian. But as always, I’m more concerned about what’s going on under the hood.
Absolutely!
Awesomeness as always.
By the way, now Labocosmetica instead of Primus and Purifica they have them named Preludio Acidic and Alkaline
Actually they still have Primus and Purifica. Preludio is the rinseless version of the 3ph system.

I tried them. Dusted on me very quickly. Short cycle time. Add a spritz of quick detailer to the pad and its fine.

Brian, does the iron remover stain the concrete? My driveway is very porous. I usually do it curbside.
It can. That made me very nervous when I was mobile as well.
@@apexdetail85 keeping it curbside. thanks
Hi Brian. Is Fury safe enough to apply to Brembo brake calipers? I’m taking about OEM factory where already have a sheen to them from stock
Safe yes.
@ thank you
Yvan Yvan Lacroix says not to scrub all the brown off the tires. He said it damages them?
