Dead air was one of my favorite campaigns growing up and it was mainly due to the plane crash at the end which for some reason younger me really liked watching stuff crash and explode
Those things had satisfying sensation 😄
That plane crash has always stuck with me, not because of the scene itself, but the implications. Weeks into the outbreak there are still passenger planes flying. I always wondered what was going on inside the plane when it made its approach and why it crashed. It looked as if they were trying to land to maybe refuel, saw the hell of the airport and tried to abort but ended up crashing, or maybe the autopilot was doing it all on a zombie filled plane.
@@syrsafox32 I assumed people on the plane turned and attacked the other passengers causing a ton of chaos in such a small space. I assumed the pilots tried to emergency land but infected got in and attacked causing it to crash instead
@@DeanRogers-mh6wb I could see that.
I love having this on in the background while I just sort of zone out. No thoughts, just empty head. Thank you for uploading this
I feel you broski
The idea of area's that are otherwise bustling with people go completely quiet is horrifying to me.
the effect of liminal space
@@sacred.exodus101 Definitely, this one time I went to this park at night for the first time when I had only ever been there when it was full of people and because there was no one there I felt so uncomfortable I ended up leaving 5 minutes later, the kind of liminal spaces this video suggests are terrifying in a different way because it shows the aftermath of all the calamity, but now everything is just dead quiet...
complete opposite for me
It remind me of Covid.
Empty streets, nobody outside, no sounds other than the wind, etc.
Just plain silence
The amount of games that have piggybacked off this games legacy and not even managed to come slightly close to what L4D was is insane.
Well, everyone's gone. I can read, and I have all the time in the world.
( Breaks glasses). Nooooooo!
this game was so fun and kinda ahead of its time.
you can hear some occasional gun fire in the backrounds that might hint possible survivours in the distance
Bill Louis Zoey and Francis
@@MrRAGE22 no if you listen without shooting and your team you can hear gunfire in the distance from whenever your standing at the construction map
makes you wonder doesnt it
@@yoturaliaz6205 there must be others but in the far distance for sure
There is still no game that comes close to L4D. Masterpiece!
Another marvelously horrifying ambience. It's a pleasure to listen to it while reading. Thanks heaps!
I find it weird that ATC tower was untouched by the airport bombing
And all the skybridge/bus stops glass is intact while the street is wrecked
favorite campaign, love orange and it goes well with the industrial locations
Newburg, Pennsylvania?! How you do know?!
Based on Left 4 Dead wiki
left4dead.fandom.com/wiki/Newburg
You can see they reused the concepts of Rooftop / Urban fighting from the HL2 Beta, very similar maps
Good work mate
My fav subject! :) 👍
in 7 disas after the infecion surprising that there is nothing left alive, but it is logical because so also there was no longer any person in the dawn of the dead at the end of the movie.
A body can only do so much without water, food and sleep...
*"What keeps them going...?"*
*Look Likes After 7 Hour War.*
I swear this is the left4dead roof top background lol
because it is
