    Thanks for the great information. That last blurb about algae was very interesting, I look forward to your thoughts on that in the future. One thing I was wondering, does the fulvic acid change the PH of the water at all?

      Thank you, my Fulvic acid is pH stable and does not effect pH or EC.

    Very interesting about the distinction between humic vs fulvic. I have used humic acid products in the past but did not notice a big difference. I have very extensive chemical filtration so putting it in the water won't work, but I have a human use fulvic product (yellow, not brown) that I will try soaking food in

      Not to much just a drop or 2 in the food. A little goes a long way!

      @@shelleraquatics would you add it for one or multiple of the feedings a day?

      I have found that feeding 1 time a week is plenty. I use it in my food for recovery after illness to boost the immune system. But I would not feed it every day. It is more of absorbent than an internal dosage. If you are feeding it as a supplement think micro dose.

      You will not notice any difference short term but long term it is unbelievable and tanks with it popped but without there was a definite difference over time!

    Hey Steve, Matt from West Australia here. I've sourced some fulvic acid and dosed my 75 gallon tank. With regards to water changes, I perform two 50% water changes each week. Do I re-dose for just replaced water or re-dose for the whole tank?

    • @shelleraquatics
      @shelleraquatics  23 дня назад

      Just the new water, the fish don't need much and uptake as needed, so any presence of it will be utilized
