- Spoilers ahead! 'Bling Empire's Kevin Kreider and Kim Lee open up to ET about their attempt at dating in season 2, which ultimately ended in disaster, thanks in part to a lie-detector test. Kevin admits to feeling 'led on' by Kim, while the DJ admits she wasn't ready to let love in when they gave a relationship a shot. Yeah. That’s what was frustrating me about the whole thing. There were so many red flags w/ her. And he kept wasting effort w/ her.

Honestly I was a little disturbed after seeing how she treated him after the lie detector test results. He was clearly very hurt yet she kept blaming him saying things like he has anger management issues. But she was the one who insisted on taking the test!

Yes. She doesnt know how to take accountability. Like the Anna case where she and Guy crossed the line and invaded Anna's privacy and making fun of her personal toy. She wouldnt admit to Anna that she was in the wrong or no apolgies even.

The way she so disrespectfully stood him up was sad.
She got her heart broken by a former boyfriend who cheated on her and finds it hard to trust. With that said, she absolutely should have been honest with Kevin (and herself!) about whether she was ready for another relationship and not stood him up.
And really wanted to pretend like it didn’t happen. No accountability.
He should've took that as a sign that she has no interest of romance in him whatsoever.

Kevin is actually a nice guy. The way he acts and carries himself, he is someone everyone wants to hang out with. He is as real as he can get.

They’re attracted to each other but not compatible. It’s not Kevin’s responsibility to heal her trust issues. Hence Kevin passing her tests but it still not being good enough for her. She needs to work that out with her therapist and NOT accept ANY dates until she truly feels ready. Even if it’s 4 years down the line.

I think it was good enough for her. But because her ex had left a wound she is unable to move past that point until she is able to work on herself. She admitted to not getting over her ex and blamed Kevin for have anger management when I think just about anyone would be frustrated in that kind of situation

I never liked kim especially since the Annas p-pump incident. She is entitled, spoiled and never wants to own up to what she did. I sympathized her when her dad incident happened but after the stunt she pulled after season 2? Yikes!

I don’t think Kim is very emotionally healthy and gives off strong avoidant attachment style cuz of her past abandonment and betrayal trauma. While I have empathy for that, Kevin is better off with a woman who’s healed and knows what she wants… it was so sad that he planned a romantic date for her and she didn’t even call. You can have trust issues after being betrayed, but projecting them onto people and doing things like lie detector test and asking to see cell phone is crossing a big boundary and is disappointing. Kevin deserves better. Even though he can be a fboi, you can tell he has a good heart. He genuinely cares about people and that’s why he’s so betrayed with Kane and hurt by Kim

Kevin did it to himself. She showed him what she was really like, right from the start and even then he still chose to pursue her. He ignored all the red flags and got hurt unnecessarily.

IMO, Kevin is after rich girls and enjoying every bit of limelight for himself. In S1, he is always showing off his abs, coming on Kelly & back down only when Kelly is still hanging out with Andrew. In S2, he went all the way to pursue Kim while he was sleeping with other girls at the side. ? C'mon it doesn't make much sense. And I absolutely hated the way he behaves smashing a glass in S1 at a party and crushing a glass in S2 during a confrontation with Kane. Grow up man!

I don’t think Kevin is mature even though he’s trying to portray that image. He’s desperate to hang out with these people and benefit from them and Kim is hot and successful. The fact that he would so readily apologize to Kane when Kane betrayed him shows that he’s desperate to just fit in with these rich Asians at any cost. I loved the date he set up for them both. They both are so cute together and they get each other’s joke. But I agree, they both have some things they still need things they both need to work on.

Kim is a 30-somethibg year old child. I didn't like her in the first season and I still don't like her now. Poor Kevin likes her and she flirts with him, shuts him down, and gets jealous when he flirts with other girls after she shut him down. Kane is your friend that is “balingbingon” and a kind of friend anyone should avoid. He keeps meddling on other ppls business. Kim has an issue of her own and it’s not easy having trust issues but kane banged that if he really is a true friend to kevin and a friend to kim he would also consider kevin’s feelings and just keep his mouth shut until he was ask for it. I really liked Kim and understood why she was distant. I understand that she didn’t like how strong Kevin was coming along, but my opinions changed about her when she completely gaslighted Kevin after the lie detector test and failed to take accountability for her actions. She came off as very immature and entitled. She should have just told Kevin very firmly that she didn’t want to be with him.
And although Kevin was hurt, I also think he was very foolish to force this relationship. There were early signs from the beginning that said Kim was not serious about him at all. He likes the idea of being in love, but doesn’t know how to live properly. He needs to find self respect and understand what makes him happy without somebody else before he involves himself into a relationship.

Im just getting into the show surrounding them and all their other friends, and from what I’m seeing of Kim so far is that she is really immature and disrespectful sometimes. Like episode 3 of season one made me really not like her, she purposely invaded Anna’s room in HER house then tried to bring the other guy she was with down with him. And she like took zero responsibility for it, same with the relationship with Steven. And anyone with any manners would know you never go around someone else’s house like that unless you wanna find something you don’t want to find, and then she threw a drink on him after he tried repeatedly to tell her that she’s had no business doing that and to just apologize. She tried to make it seem like it was Anna’s fault for having an item in HER house. I just really do not like her at all sorry i ranted y’all.
Kevin and Kim are what you considered as “playful relationship”. I knew it would never last as both loves to flaunt their body (Kevin likes to show off his abs which is ok. Kim loves to flaunt her headlights for the attention.). Kevin loves the chase, and Kim loves to be chase. Both are a tease, and it’s awful. Kim appears to have lots of plastic surgery as her face looks like Barbie doll, and she doesn’t have the Vietnamese appearance like her mom or Mimi. I’m Chinese/Vietnamese so I know how detect Vietnamese in the community. Both these two are like volcano eruption as both come from dysfunctional background:kevin is adopted and kim’s father was MIA. The lie detector test made for good tv and showed what she initially said...she's not into him bc she doesn't fully trust him.
