Thanks for posting this. Such a hard song for me to play and getting the effects chain close enough to sound similar is making me want to buy a better all-in-one vs. switching to a pedal board / individual pedals. Great job on the song though, you nailed it!
Hi Jason, thanks for your kind words! I play a multi-effect live, but for this (studio) version I used the digital effects from my recording program (tape delay and chorus). I think both options (all-in-one/individual pedals) should work well.
Nicely done, Kat Bass. I liked how you changed up the dynamics at 3:15 to a strumming ringing tone, just like in the song. Choosing when to strum or ring or mute your notes is the mark of a great bass player.
As a guitar player, I can say that bass playing unison lines with guitar = zero bass every time. I always ask my bass players to play whatever they want as long as it's not what I'm playing!
good work chica!! really cool!
Thank you Carlos 🙏🏻!

Hi, thanks so much for your comment! You're right, playing a note or PLAYING a pause (when muting) is at least as important.
Excellent work !!
Thank you Christian! Great to hear you like it!
Now play smoke on the water..
Great Work (generally professional). Apart from the FLAGSHIP song TOOL... you play the bass well👍🙂
Haha, yes, this song is a monster 😁.
Can you please tell me how you tuned your bass
Hi Horacio, the E string is tuned down to D. So it's B D A D G, but you don't need the low B-string for this song.
