Just got the Nothing Ears (2024 version). With that advanced EQ, they are the best sounding earbuds I've ever had. Incredible how much control they give you. You were correct about the noise cancelation, though. It's not bad, but not as strong as I was hoping for.
After trying all of these buds, i have to say the Momentum 4 were the best except for dreadful comfort. That pushed me to get the Nothing Ear. Second best overall buds ive tried this year. Solid video for review fella.
Thanks for the video, but holy shit, the mic quality of the ace 2 is so good. It sounded so natural! For me they sounded much better than the neobuds 2 imo.
I´ve got the Oneplus buds 3 and I think they are ok at best. But I got the Chinese version. Is there a difference to the global version? Just thought I try and ask this here. Thanks for the vid!
Nice work. Some good options here but I'm more than surprised the Status Between 3ANC are not on this list. I haven't found anything that sounds better under $200
Hey i just watched your best semiopen earbuds video, do you think after almost a year your best picks in that category would still be the same? I only care about sound quality so i was thinking about nothing ear stick or jbl live flex but i have seen there are newer models now that you have not reviewed yet... Any suggestions?? Sorry about my bad english and thank you a lot for your reviews 💜
So the new JBL Live Flex 3 would replace the older Live Flex featured in that video - and i'd honestly struggle to see anything beating those. Just completely feature-packed, great performance all round...great. I haven't tested the new AirPods, FreeBuds 6i or Galaxy Buds 3 yet though - i'd really need to do an updated video to give you a complete answer!
@@insidetechltd Thanks a lot for your suggestion, sadly both airpods and galaxy buds have limitations if not used with apple/samsung devices and freebuds 6i are inear so i wouldnt have picked them anyway... even tho i honestly think the touchscreen charging case is a gimnick ill probably trust you on the quality of the earbuds and get the jbl live flex 3 ☺️
Thank you for your videos and your answers I hope you to tell me what about the new Jbl live flex3 vs new Samsung galaxy buds 3 which has better sound quality and vs huawei free buds5 thank you
Thanks in advance if youre kind enough and have the time to answer my very specific request. I wear a beanie and do a lot of phone calls. Which mic is the best for that niche situation. I also value high battery life because i like using earbuds the whole time during my 8hr shift. Been rocking the Sony 1000xm3 and later 1000xm4, having owned multiple pairs of each. Excellent video!!!
I think the nice thing about most earbuds (including these options) is that the voice pickup mics are at the lower end of the earbud. So hopefully your beanie won't be covering those anyway. If it goes over the entire earbud...I think you're gonna struggle with any earbuds. But my guess is that the mic will be exposed and therefore fine - so essentially your best option should just be the one with the best call quality. The only problem is the battery life. You might actually want to look at the Melomania M100 because whilst the mic isn't the very best, it is still good and that huge battery will easily see you through your shift. Remember that no earbuds sound great for calls, so it's not gonna be perfect either way. If your Sony earbuds were ok for calls before though, these should be good too 👊🏼
Thanks for your thoughts. As always this is super helpful! If I were to get Bose QC II under 150 dollars should I go with them or get Jabra Elites. Mic quality, connectivity and cross platform support are important to me along with good audio
Thank you! The ANC is tempting with the QCII, especially at that price. But the mic quality isn't great so I would suggest the Jabra earbuds instead (better sound with Jabra too)
@@insidetechltd thanks a lot for responding. This is helpful, although I was reading that Jabra Elite series is hut down so so you think future support might not be great
Friend, seriously, what about headphones for sleeping, what do you recommend? You said there would be video! A useful thing when your nerves are out of order
I known I did. I’m so sorry 😭 I bought a house and it’s taken up so much of my time moving and getting everything set up. Lots of life things getting in the way as well. I promise it’s coming! For now, I can definitely recommend soundcore’s A20. They’ve been great. Full testing and review to follow though
16:58 i have them and battery life is a reason i am in the market for a new pair again 1h battery life on my left bud and the case is at 20% at the end of each day they were certainly good when i had them new but started to degrade fast after 1 and a half years
Thank you, Adam, for another fantastic guide. I ordered the Elite 10 last night after watching your previous best earbuds video. I was considering the Linkbuds S, however it's a 2 years old technology now. Should I try the JBL live beam 3 as well?
@@insidetechltd Check out the capsule 3 pro which is what I have for only $65 CAD on sale. Sound amazing with LDAC, hi-res up to 40khz (should mention that in reviews), ANC similar to airpods and 8 hr battery. Air 5 has newest snapdragon and 5.4 etc. The newest capsule 3+ pro model has a "Mems" driver which in a few years I may upgrade to the newest model with this driver.
Great video, and not to be picky, but in the feature chart near the end of the video it might also be a good idea to include if an earbud uses xMEMS - purely as a datapoint for people making a purchase decision.
Some really good options to consider even the Liberty 4 NCs only grip i have with them is the call quality unfortunately (couldve gotten a dud but who knows)
Could you give a better inside on the "game mode" I know just a niche of people are looking for a good pair of earbuds that let them play without noticing the latency but I am one of them and I am tired of searching for the best balance between sound quality and low latency. (For me anything below 100ms is a solid low latency mode). Please if anyone knows some good buds that have this feature respond to this comment🙏🏻
It's a fair question so thanks for asking! I can tell you that all of the earbuds here with a 'game mode' perform below 100 ms. So if you want to pick based on your favourite one, you should hopefully be safe. The only issue is the performance does always vary by the device you're playing on as well, so there's no guarantee you won't find the latency acceptable. But I think you can be safe with the game mode options here
The idea described in the video was to take the smartwatch and the case (no phone). You can take only a smartwatch with any earbuds, but specifically with this new JBL case you could also bring that and have access to loads of extra features and still not need to bring a phone - that's all!
@@insidetechltd granted it gives more features with the case. But, at least for me, i don't like to carry additional stuff when I go running/exercise. Even in the gym I just leave all my stuff, phone included, in the locker and just depend on my phone. Maybe JBL should consider makinh smartwatch an putting these features from the case in the smartwatch! Also just discovered your channel and really enjoying the reviews. I've watch this particular video at least 3 times now to make sure I don't miss any details when finally deciding on making my purchase!
I'm the same as you, I like to run with the bare minimum. They could either make a smartwatch or better yet just a smartwatch app with all of these features built in - then it could work on any smartwatch and we wouldn't need the bulky earbuds case. Thanks a lot for watching, I really appreciate it!
Fantastic work mate! I need airbuds for calls and video meetings that isolate my voice and reduce the ambient background noise so the other part can clearly understand me. Jabra claims to be the best for that. But what would be your recommendation? Price is not an issue. I need to find a solution. Thanks you and congrats for the nice videos @insidetech
If price isn't an issue, perhaps the earbuds awards video (linked below) might be helpful. There's a call quality section which has my top 3 in it. It's only based on my own experience - for others it might be different. But I test regularly throughout the year and give an update every year on the current best in that video!
Come on dude it's time to review the elephant in the room Audio-Technica ATH-S300 BT Noice cancellation, 90 hours battery , 130$, what are you waiting for ?!?
I'm happy to review anything people request! I've considered those for the upcoming 'best headphones under $200' but I actually think their ATH-M50xBT2 are the better option in that price range 🤷♂️ The S300 are close to the $99 price though so maybe a 'best under $100' video?
Yeah that would be an important factor for me, but the general feedback I get is to prioritise sound quality above all else. I’ll get both in a see what videos they make sense for 👍🏼
Need a bit more time on the video but the M50x aren't making the cut. Good headphones, but not amongst the very best in the price category from the ones i've tested so far

For JBL, use Personi Fi.
Btw, Live Buds 3 doesnt have private call and smart talk feature, like the Beam 3 has. Which is a weird thing in my opinion!
