Most of us in the U.S. love our Thanksgiving being on a Thursday , as a lot of employers will pay you holiday pay for both Thursday and Friday. 🙂
Doing it on thursday, also give all the stores and shop are crazy busy on friday. Its called Black Friday, thats the day all the stores have bargin prices. There is a saying, in America we give thanks for what we have on Thursday, Then trample each other on friday to get the sales. People have been killed in those mobs waiting in line for the doors to open.

Yes, we Americans do take Thanksgiving very seriously... It's a great way to start putting on our Minnesota winter fat to keep warm on our long and cold winters. LOL Drive safely Truck Josh.
And let's not Forget black Friday is right after Thanksgiving.....
As a four day holiday for many if not most people, it enables the families to travel to the holiday family get-together and spend some time together. In many cases, a three day long weekend is not enough time for the travel, especially if you are driving. Growing up, all of my family branches would drive to the home state. For us it was a real long day or an easier two days drive. Sadly all of those links have passed away now, but it leaves me some great memories of those drives.
Was watching another trucker from my home state of Iowa, and he gave you a shout-out for your talent, perseverance in dealing with your "Canadian" winters - even though he deals with Iowa winters, he gave you credit for how much more you deal with it. Hi Canadian. You would think that Thanksgiving would be on a weekend right most people do not get paid on Thanksgiving and most stores are open and most people are working on Thanksgiving unless you work for the government.
If the MRi was normal,then you should not have to worry, but you didn't say that you had the MRI with the X-ray dye. If you had it with the dye and the results were in a "cool color",( blue, green, purple etc.) then it is normal. If it shows up in a " warm color," ( yellow,red, orange etc.) then something is there. That's how they found the tumor in my dad's spine which turned out to be cancer. He fought it from 1985 to 2017.
I love that our thanksgiving is on Thursday. I get holiday pay Thursday and Friday!
I work at a university and college students have the whole week off from classes. Staff get Thursday and Friday as paid holidays. K-12 students get Thursday and Friday off as well.

Why not have it on Thursday and then take Friday and the weekend off. As most of us do.
And going to A Dr. is not the problem. The PROBLEM is, if you see one Dr. They want to give you PILLS. And send you to 3 or 4 other Dr's.

Even thought it’s been a few years since I’ve lived in Winnipeg that flyingj just off of inkster and brookside blvd, man it feels like so long ago, but I remember always going that way to get to headingly from the bison yard just next to the airport with my dad, glad I found your Chanel been reminiscing about my childhood. Josh if we Americans would make it on Friday that is a kickoff to Christmas shopping season Black Friday so we can blow all our money on Capitalism.
I understand. I had a blood test on my annual last week (first one since 2020 because of Covid) and I was okay, but I worried about it. Give it to the Lord as much as you can and listen to your wife on this one. It'll pay off.
About three weeks ago I noticed a lump on my neck... Turns out it's my left no.1 rib that has grown a little weird and I noticed it after 24 years on this planet.
well most people in the United States have Thursday off they also have Friday Saturday and Sunday off if the holiday falls on a Friday then they have Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday off and about that lump on your back if they don't find it with that they probably have to do explore surgery that's a lot of fun take care PS Josh please see the doctor is very important
I have a lump on my back for the last 30 years which turned out to be a fat deposit from years of bouncing up and down in a seat in my big truck. So don't be surprised if it turns out to be nothing.
Most factories have Thu AND Fri off for thanksgiving here in america

I agree on thanksgiving. Yes most of us have to go back to work Friday. Luckily I took that day off. Also why do we not make Halloween the last Friday of October or something, also usually ends up being the middle of the week. Since we are talking about things that don't make sense, don't get me started on daylight savings time!!!

Is it me or did Josh not catch any snowfall on his way home to the endoscopy he doesn't want to sit through?
Josh, I'm with you on hating hospitals and feeling that you are fine and don't need to visit a doctor. But, after losing way too many friends and relatives to things that could have been treated if spotted early, I strongly suggest getting checked up to make sure it's nothing serious.
I had an endoscopy last month it’s not bad at all the wheeled me in put a mask over my face. I started dreaming I was on a golf course then I woke up very little pain or discomfort!
Next up a colonscopy now talk about fun.
I feel the same as you about hospitals. I finally spent time in the hospital when I hit 65. The food is terrible.

It’s just one more day to celebrate the early europeans crushing the will of the Native Americans, and driving them into despair, depravity, and slavery…it’s the American Way! Slavery toward capitalism, honoring money over virtue, and denying others basic human rights in the pursuit of cash flow and one more day to celebrate our love of monetary gain $$$ to spend on Black (Slow Death) Friday.

Wally World is closed on Thanksgiving, and I have that day as well as Black Friday off. So, I can stuff my face one day, and then go into work and shop. I already had my fill today of last minute Thanksgiving Eve grocery shoppers.

Thanksgiving day - the aroma of turkey in the oven waft the air while Macy's Christmas Parade was on TV. The official start of the holiday season began when Santa made his appearance at the end of the parade. Black Friday marked the start of Christmas shopping with stores offering items lesser to encourage consumers to spend more. Today it's over commercialized, yet, the tradition still lingers on. Retail employees have had to interrupt their holiday with families because of greed. The stores need that dollar any way they can get it, ruining the holiday season further by opening sooner with earlier black Friday specials because of competition with other stores. I hated going to Walmart in Galax, Va. to hear different employees tell of the ignorance & rudeness of the holiday shoppers they endured in exchange for having to give up a day meant to be with family. So sad to hear, sadder was how consumers waited for special select items to come onto the floor only to help their selves, grab & go. It took the thrill & joy out of the Holiday for my family & I. Every day was a day of Thanksgiving from then on. I am thankful for you, Brit, the boys, & all your family. Oh, by any chance will we get to go to that really nice mall with the rink to get a special gift for you know who? xoxoxoxoxo (1for each of you.)
Why in some jobs you get Friday off as well. The weekend is that much longer.
In the u.s. thanksgiving is the American tradition Friday is Black Friday
Noticed your mapping software is out of date. The W shaped jog on Hwy 39 east of the 392 intersection was replaced by a straight road about 4 or 5 years ago. Check your GPS tracking it will show you going through the bush.
We do it one day better just because it's on Thursday most companies will let you have Friday off too
Lol. Good vlog. My hubby doesn't schedule doctors appointments. I do! This way I can keep track of everything medical wise. I have over 20 years working in the medical field so its just easier for me to take care of. I no longer work in the medical field but still learn as much as I can to keep up.

2 years of long haul, 4 years of log hauling all based in BC.. Just started my second year working for highways and plowing snow is so much fun and I'm union work 4 days a week home everyday. Trucking has many different opportunities so keep living the dream!
Josh, here in the US with Thanksgiving always being the forth Thursday in November most people have Thursday-Monday off an some places are off all that week. It just depends on the company.

We know what snow brushes are, just got an extendable silicone snow scraper.
I am in Thompson, we have two winter roads just out of town. Three hours to the major intersection of winter roads just outside of Norway House.
At on of the companies I worked they gave you your birthday off with pay. However your birthday was now the Friday after Thanksgiving Day.
In 1 day, i burn roughly 900 litres for 750km, empty for half the km's... 🤣🤣🤣

Josh i hope your procdure went well for you mate,you can never be too sure, i don,t want to scare you but i had cancer twice 20 years ago and they kept telling me it was nothing till the results came back then i got it back a year later(not that i,m saying it is but make sure it,s treated correctly) so please mate if you don,t feel they are doing enough for you demand more tests ive been clear for the last 20 years,our health system here in Australia is pretty good i can,t complain.keep the awsome videos coming i look forward to them every day you are one funny bloke take care we,re thinking of you all

He’s an owner/operator, higher rate, but he takes care of operation expenses.

U be fine Josh do what the doctor says because just in case anything is wrong then deal with it take my bro in-law he was doing what the doctor said and did a stress test on his heart this week had a cardiac episode while doing it and BAM ended up in ICU with a triple bypass that day so just get it checked Josh please we need u to take us around ur country and ur wife n kiddo needs ya
