  • The Pink Bead Pheasant Tail jig is a great attractor pattern with alot of movement that really gets trout fired up. Rarely is this version not in my box. Enjoy!

Really do enjoy your videos, informative and practical. Keep up the good work! Can you briefly share your views on fishing with jig nymphs as compared to regular nymphs. Looks like you have a preference for jigs? Thanks!

Oney P. Smith, thank you very much. I'm glad you're liking them. the reason I like to fish a jig is the way it is placed on the hook it makes the hook ride point up so you are less likely to snag. even if you put a slotted bead on a standard nymph hook and push it up snug it will do the same thing and make it ride point up. makes it less likely to snag also. plus with a standard nymph hook that has a turned-up point having that slotted bead on there opens that space up so there is more room to hook the fish. I hope that did not confuse you
