  • A brief vlog. My friend David and I went birding at Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge here in Washington State, just outside the city of Olympia. We started a couple hours after sunrise on a summer morning. The heat haze appeared quickly and the bright sunlight. We encountered Barn Swallow, American Robin, Yellow Warblers, Great Blue Heron, and many more species. Hope you enjoy the video. Like and subscribe!

Definitely wanting to visit that refuge someday. The one time we were going past and thought about stopping, it was so foggy/misty that we didn't bother. Perhaps on another trip.

It's worth checking out! May is my favorite month to visit there.
