Well, I was the last one to comment on this video & now I’m going to comment again!! This one is absolutely crazy-funny at the beginning, it ought to be required to watch every month or so! You just cracked me up because when you start the video, we can’t even see your desk, it’s piled high with all kinds of bins, boxes & trays! And your voice is gently sarcastic (of yourself) as you proceed to go through them! It made me laugh so hard, because that’s exactly what my space looks like right now! I’ve just now gone through the THIRD reorganization of my craft space & it’s looking pretty good. But, what do I have left?? A bunch of trays, boxes & bowls of stuff that has grown with each project & reorganizing attempt! There is good stuff in there, but it’s so hard to figure out what to do with it all! It makes me crazy with disgust & frustration! There are so many half-baked ideas, I need a box with that label on it! I can hear you say in your “stern” voice, “Just get on with it, woman! Throw it away!” Really, this is one of your best videos, Julie, it’s spot-on as you would say! Please watch it again & see if you agree! Also you’re in the second lockdown & your girls may be having an argument downstairs!! It’s just too funny! Oh, I didn’t go looking for this one, it just popped up on my screen, maybe it’s the god of clean & organized craft spaces striking me with a bolt of lightning?!?! I love these snippets & it worked out great to use the paper on your desk, perhaps that’s a new method! At the beginning I kept thinking, we’re identical in our craft space! I also label EVERYTHING!! It makes me feel better & I don’t care if other people (my family…!) make fun of me. I can scan my shelves & find what I’m looking for, but just like you, I have all sorts of envelopes, trays, boxes, baskets & baggies full of leftover stuff! I even have 2 new boxes on my desk labeled “bits & bobs” courtesy of watching your channel! But it’s these little pieces that do us in, BUT, throw them out? NEVER!! I think for me, I need to make some kind of cluster, snippet, hidden paperclips or mini tags every week, to help keep the clutter under control! I finally have my new desk space in one corner of the living room set up!!! Woohoo! I have built in shelves on my left side & then I’m creating a half wall, down the other side. Then the couch will be placed on the other side of that wall & then there will be a mini living room close to the front door!! Ideal? Probably not, but nobody ever visits, so I don’t think I need to be too concerned about that. My craft space is only 48” wide, (the width of the desk) but it’s a bit deeper than your room!! I love it! I’ve gone over & just sat at the desk & grinned, looking at how big that desk seems AND how wonderful it is to be able look out the window!! “I’m a happy bunny” to quote a wise woman I know! Thank you so much for all the great videos, but also your little pearls of wisdom!! Almost all of us have things in our lives that aren’t perfect & we’re having to deal with real life, but we can still be happy, gracious & kind to each other with little bits of humor holding it all together! I am so bad at making clusters. They scare me I think! Lol you did a great job on them though!
Check out the blindfolded ones that Pam at the paper outpost did. I gave it a whirl and honestly they loked better than some i've spent ages on. since then i'm convinced they key is not to over think😁🤗💜
I really love how you put these together Julie. Looks so much easier to do it that way, on a large backing sheet. They turned out beautiful. Oh and I hear you about having kids off school. At least with twins the home learning is easier, they're literally both on the same page 😁

I might try some on lengths of wallpaper. Oooo and I have some of those while rolls you cover the table in when making a mess. 🤔😀
I hear you about the homeschooling. It's so much easier this time as they have the same timetable and lessons. That's one of many blessings to count at the moment🙏😊💜
