Don't laugh, or well laugh cause you make me laugh lol, I have to tell you and thank you too for you and your speaking because you are literally the ONLY journal maker/book crafter I can stand to watch b/c you can actually speak normally lol. I am one of the people who loves to just hear you talk and I love your mother's sayings. My mother has "Ohio" sayings that I wanted to remember so I started a family memories journal with saying and stories that I hope my niece will someday get a great laugh from.

I am from Ohio as well. My friends mom used to say the craziest things. We wrote them down for years and called them “Ivyisms” after her mother Ivy. It’s a wonderful thing to pass along thru generations!
Our family is going to do the same thing. My parents and my in laws had some good ones.
I love listening to you and your sayings. My mum was English from Derbyshire and she emigrated to NZ where I live. She used to have a saying for everything or a song. My friends always remember talking to her and she had a good comeback. I miss that humour! Don’t r we stop being you.

😁 I once hoovered up a katydid. Never seen one before, I was terrified. The blinking thing kept on chirping in the cylinder😐😅🤗💜
Omg, Julie! I had to watch a ton of those adverts! They are just like James Bond! The guy is CUTE!! And then after one of them, a different advert came on that was just like Mary Poppins! I was just laughing! You guys have the best humor!! Thank you!

Miss Julie, I loved these clusters and the eyelets was a new one on me. I never thought about even using them as a decoration for the clusters. I love your stories but, the one about the milk tray cracked me up, and then you said you wouldn't mined a milk tray left on your bed. You are a hoot, I just love you. Loving the clusters with the corrugated cardboard and the ones with the three eyelets, something different from the norm. The saying in the northeast for 13 is "lucky for some 13" You need to change your saying 😂. Many thanks ❤

My friend tells a great story about trapping a wasp - it starts to get funny right when he pulls out the vacuum cleaner - 😅 😂 Rest easy, you did the right thing!!
😅 we nearly went down the vac route. I have used it for many things, mice, spiders and once I sucked up a terrifying looking creature that turned out to be a katydid that carried on chirping away inside the hoover😐 I then taped up the hose end with parcel tape so it couldn't escape😘🤗💜

Thanks for another fun time here at your place! I learned how to re-ink Distress Ink a few years ago, had them for many years before that but not done right then :-) Pour in ink, let it sink in a bit and then pull it out with a plastic card. Same for Distress Oxide. So you're not the last to that party :-)

My crazy cat keeps spiders and flies at bay. I'm dreading our annual ant march. Every year about this time they get in somewhere when we have alot of rain. The snt traps go down and off they pop.
I have a feeling Nala is not going to like it and I will have to build some sort of cage for the traps😐 Waffle over😅🤣😂😁🤗💜

Hi Julie, and thanks for keeping so many of us entertained. I was making a few clusters along with you, and I used some paint chips from the home improvement store that I happened to have living under my sewing machine. Nice for a little pop of colour, and free! I only watch your channel, so I don't know if this is something other crafters have used.

Loved listening to your chat, although wasps have very sweet face and you can feed them on your finger with a spot of jam! Another time get a glass and a piece of card and take it outside , it’s a lot quicker!😆🌿🐝 love your clusters, the eyelets are fab!

I always spray bugs with whatever is handy. It usually slows them down so I can smash them. One time my son got in a wasp nest and had about 20 wasps on him. They were in his hair and on his shirt, all over his upper body. He's allergic but has never stopped breathing because of it. That one scared me but I gave him Benadryl and made a baking soda paste and put on the stings and bites. Glad you just had one wasp and not the whole family. Thanks for the video. I always enjoy watching you create and listening to you.
My favourite used to be hair mouse or shaving foam, but i had neither to hand😘

Just for future need, Hoovering it up would have killed it. Hoarder clean-up companies use the Hoover to clear out all kinds of bugs dead and alive.
I will argue that, in fact, MY mother was the queen of the one-liner. Hers were very funny, often insulting, but always said so matter-of-factory you were never sure you heard her right. She was Irish.

I can totally relate to your feelings about wasps. I am terrified of them (and bees as well) and if I get one in my house I am in a complete panic until it is dead or flown back out an open door!
I'm a bit more chilled with bees, in fact i have a bee hotel in the garden for the cute solitary not too stingy ones😅 but wasps i am terrified of as well Helen😊🤗💜

I'm so glad you're feeling better! These came out great, and you have me looking at labels and eyelets with fresh eyes. When it comes to unwelcome visitors, the vacuum cleaner ("hoover" to you) is my best friend. I have a canister version; it's clunky and old-tech, but comes with a LONG pole so I can keep my distance and don't have to see what's inside after I'm done. The soapy water trick is also a great tip!
I'm with you there Lani. I miss my old vacuum cleaner, the one I have now has no bag so I'm afraid if what I hoover up crawling back out and have been known to tape off the end of the hose😅🤗💜

I don’t mind telling you that I hate wasps too! If one gets in the house he is hunted until I can get rid of him any way possible!
About 20 years ago, I was walking in grass when a wasp flew up my pant leg and stung me about 8 times. Of course, I was beating the heck out of it so it just kept stinging me!
