Radiator Cooling Fan Diagnosis |1985 Merkur XR4Ti

Today we are inspecting the cooling fan on the Merkur and seeing what is wrong with it we start by putting power to the fan itself using the battery and we find out that the fan is functional both forwards and in reverse which is a good sign for the fan at least and so now we have to make our way back through the wiring to see where it's all going wrong but first we have to put the upper intake back together so that the car will start and run so we have some work to do then after I get the car back together.
It was time to do some testing so I started by getting the car running then I actually got the cooling fan to run by turning on the AC which was awesome as it showed that the wiring to the fan was good and that there was some other issue as too why the fan wasn't turning on when the car was getting hot (likely the fan switch)
Then I rechecked the oil level just to make sure my previous mistakes didn't cause any ill effects, The cappuccino of death which there wasn't then I did some more checks and verifications.
