2 bad games does not a bad company make. They do need to knock it out of the park with the next mass effect and dragon age though. They won't last if they don't.
@@709mash Sadly it may not improve as the problems with BioWare games are caused by devs being rushed and pushed too hard. The quality of the writing has also declined a LOT. It doesn’t help that it’s owned by EA. It’s a recipe for disaster. There was andromeda and anthem, and whilst Dragon age inquisition wasn’t as bad, it was still hated by a lot of people. The problems started with Mass Effect 3, and whilst they did fix it to a degree, launch was a disaster, and the problems with 3 were caused by being rushed and some rough writing towards the end. You’re right though. Another bad game could finish them, especially with a franchise as big as Mass Effect. I hope they knock it out of the park.
No, dude. That's what makes the trilogy so great - it will never stop being good; it will never become unplayable - it's timeless. Why try to ruin that with another attempt? It was a masterpiece, in every sense, and the thing about masterpieces is that you cannot recreate them, you simply can't - attempting to do so would only take away the magic (I can only hope that the developers have already learned that with Andromeda). Let's just be thankful for what we have, and cherish it the best we can.
@@wayfaringshaman I don't agree with the statement that another entry diminishes the trilogy. While Andromeda was a disappointment, it does not tarnish the trilogy for me. But I get what you mean though. Mass Effect is a universe that deserves to be respected and expertly crafted. A new Mass Effect is most likely in pre production since Casey Hudson is back at EA, he is not gonna pass another Mass Effect entry. Time will tell if Bioware can redeem itself.
1:17 funny you should say that Casey, charge was introduced in ME2. I guess at that point you all were more interested in bringing in the Gears of War crowd than the game's "artistic integrity".
Can't wait for mass effect 4 (or 5 depending on if you count Andromeda or not) The potential is unlimited I just hope that the people working on it are given the time they need cause we have seen they can create a great game if they are given it and whatever they come up with for the story I'm sure will be exciting and new but only if they use the feedback from Andromeda and there was plenty of feedback and criticism to go off of lmao can't wait to hear more
EA buys and owns Bioware. Bioware created one of the greatest Star Wars adventure games ever made. EA gets the rights to develop Star Wars games. Its simple stuff really isnt it? Like it doesnt take even the simplest of minds to figure out the potential to print money by putting Bioware to work on another Star Wars game with the financial backing of a company like EA.. Like its the most simple of concepts that it boggles the mind that they cant figure it out.
