Great video ... thanks for sharing. Streamers are a great way to cover a lot of water when nothing is hatching. Did you film above or below Creede on this trip? Blessings, Gary R, USAF-Retired
The Red River (NM) us tough canyon pocket water. You have to work extra hard to get down to the better public water.. I recommend a dual nymph rig (BH Prince and a pheasant tail) fished in the pockets and seams. Expect to have to adjust your weight and strike indicator accordingly to match the depth and speed of the water. If the water is tainted with visibility less than 3 ft, try bright egg and San Juan worm patterns.
Awesome fishing in such a beautiful place!!!
God job son!!!!

It’s below Creede I never really fished the Rio itself before that trip. I always ended up on its tributaries.
@@foxoutdoorsports2932 nice... which trib is your favorite ?
Awesome footage! What streamer / size did you have luck with?
A size 8 black Willy bigger. It’s my go to for streamers. I’m sure about anything black would’ve worked though.
@@foxoutdoorsports2932 thanks! This looks like area between south fork and creede off 149.
@@chandlerchildress3610 that’s exactly where it is lol in the Coller wildlife area.
