And the numbers.
It gregs job
Because they're lining their pockets with State funds emergency funds and now they're trying to beg for handouts from the president

They say they have to peep a lot due to the language. You think the person being interviewed would be the one cussing. The first curse word came from the reporter. 😂😂😂😂😂
Hahahahahahaha i thought the same thing.
He wanted to stir him up and got the exact reaction he wanted😂 . I got to get them views!
Thank You Isiah for your reporting
You’ll notice that Dan Patrick and Greg “cockroach legs” Abbott never have any tough words for Centerpoint’s CEO. Financial enrichment and exchange of money is very very likely the reason.
I can personally guarantee that cockroach legs never lost electricity and neither did Dan Patrick and you can imagine how many millions they make quarterly from their Centerpoint electricity preferred shares.
These People Are Tax Payers.
Gullible goy 😂😂😂
@@maureencora1 These taxpayers voted for power outages, sadly. Some people rebuild in the paths of hurricanes and tornados, and others experience frequent power outages due to "stone age" technology due to deregulation; a Texan chooses both.

The question is how come these businesses don't have a power generator???!
This is Bad Business.
Isn’t Dan Patrick a convicted criminal and known liar?
yep...
Sounds like Trump
@@Rico0333You're obviously not very smart
Pain indictment does not mean you're a convicted criminal
Yes he is and he is probably lining his pockets along with Abbott and the owner who is their buddy of this power company.. at the same time that they're begging for government handouts
He correct THIS IS HOUSTON, WE LIVE BASICALLY LIVE ON THE COAST HURRICANE COAST!! CENTERPOINTLESS
I'm a Houstonian and this is not good for our city at all. How can we conduct daily business or host conferences and major events in our city if we have a reputation for having unreliable power? The residents are more important than business, but business is still very important. Aside of them not having enough trucks ready, it was reported that Centerpoint spends very little on vegetation management and now fallen trees are a major contributor to the current power outages. Centerpoint needs to get it together so that this doesn't happen again.
Dan And Greg Just Gonna Give Y'all A "Sorry" And Y'all Jus Gonna Revote Them In 🤣
*Prayers And Guidance For Houston 🙏🏿*
He speaking for all of us at this point in my neighborhood the gas stations are up they have been up two to 3 days and the street lights are up but our apartments are still without power their priorities are messed it up it doesn’t make any sense .
ITS YOUR JOB! Blame game!
When his business starts back up, I’ll be there because he’s real and I’m happy he’s speaking up
So we live in the Conroe and yesterday we had our power restored for most of the day and then around 4:00 pm our service was shut down again and said it would NOT be back on until the 15 of July in the evening about 5:00 pm, so was this the problem from the Hurricane or MAN'S HAND'S, MAKE THIS MAKE SENSE, ALSO one area close by the other night the street lights and traffic lights were working fine but the following day the whole area lights were shut off, off, No power, what was that from the Hurricane or MAN'S HAND'S, I'm not convinced, time for a real investigation / Lawsuit here in Texas and the affected surrounding areas in the Houston county 👍🏾
Montgomery Co should have Voted for Beto in 2022. He NEEDS to Run for Governor again in 2026.
To the people of Texas😮 has it ever occurred to you that no other state has to go through this but you.. not privatizing utilities and having regulations goes a long way in these times..
@@Hippitidippity complete bs. All power companies help each other in extreme weather events
@@bretthong6137 Your response has nothing to do with the comment.
This man speaks the TRUTH!
Does he? Sounds like a child who can't take responsibility for his states actions to give power companies complete control to determine if they want to keep their equipment up to date. But if you like being led like sheep to the slaughter, keep doing what you're doing!
Could've had a cook out..
Electrical problems in Texas? You don't say? Tell me more. lol
Why did you throw away the food, everyone else has been cooking and giving food away
It's the state responsible for directing center point how to proceed. The state just now calling out the national guard. The state and city of Houston didn't have a warroom prior to the storm
Best news segment!!! Let the people say how they feel.
The restaurant i worked at was not grateful i showed up to work on the night the hurricane came. I aint working aftter hurricanes no more.
It’s hell in Houston with no AC…. Now I’m 30 imagine an older person or special needs or kids who can’t do much for themselves.
WOW so sad for Houston Texas
Good job Dan, CYA, Abbott should have canceled his trip, this storm was headed this way before you left
My neighbor who lives behind me got her power restored Tuesday morning. It’s Friday and I’m still without power, I’m trying not to be petty
Just try to be patient I know it sucks considering I’m sure you lost all of the food in your fridge and freezer.
Keep voting red and you'll keep getting what you get. Texas Toasted I can smell it up here in Colorado.
He kept it all the way real..
I loved the beeps
He said everything I’m thinking. “Break off some of that salary” to pay the linemen… they should have had all this “negotiated” ahead of time! Centerpoint execs seem corrupt. I bet if you scratch the surface you will find some weird money things going on there that delisted in all our lives getting wrecked. No work for a week, hot, melting, lost all the food in the fridge. Where I live there is not even cell service! This is unacceptable!
I'm sure Centerpoint ceo that akes 38 million a year for killing people basically will step in and help, also he picket 2 million the government gave him for repairs
This has nothing to do with Biden...
It has everything to do with Biden when your goal is to focus on and make a political statement instead of doing whats right and restoring power to the people 🙄
Grocery stores have to have power or they have to toss their refrigerated and frozen sections, and can't get more until the power comes back on.
And they can't checkout customers except with cash.
Ever hear of generators?
Why throw it away if it was going to waste then just give it away
Yeah give away too those who have no power either!🙄
This is more evidence business owners and households should invest in heavy duty generators or at least a good solar generator to keep the light on through this type of bullchit. It will at least save you more money than what you could loose through this BS.
Businesses please buy yourself backup generators so you can still run your business quit trusting the city in situations like this
Oh yes the governor of Texas, Joe Biden
HOUSTON WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM!! that's why I moved far away from Harris County
He wants to blame the federal government, but they always fights that they don't want federal help. lol
Exactly lol talking about seceding too. This your time to show you don’t need the federal government , right? But nope, blame the President. Politics suck.
And these people have the nerve to call others sheep... While being led to the slaughter by leadership who specifically refuse to connect to federal power grids.
I feel so sorry for those business....you guys need to move further north.
Man after Enron folks should ban together and getr some off grid power going..I know easier said than done but its worth it, those companies don't give a crap...Centerpoint should be sued and shut down for this..they are literally holding Houston Hostage!!!
I wish they could sue Centerpoint for the lost revenue
No electricity is horrible. Local government officials have to get to work and coordinate with everyone who has power. Stop finger-pointing
Centerpoint is totally mismanaged. For profit rather than electrical reliability. CEO and his whole mismanagement team needs to go.
Gop blames everyone else for their lack of management.
Country and city are blue, and where was Dora? Out of town for days ahead of time - and it shows.
Dora is not a leader at all.
@@AntiWarTexan Blame everyone BUT the GOP Owned Government. Yeah. That's why nobody agrees with you.
You're electrical company and provide your energy is corrupt You're trying to screw out of state workers and keep lining their pockets while you suffer
Well said! It’s the damn leadership.
WE ALL GONNA EAT THIS BILL FROM CENTERPOINTLESS
They also are not allowing them to work overtime! It’s always about money!
So opportunist Damn Patrick had to take this situation to play politics? Just say you’re sorry and you’re going to do everything you can to make this right.
I’m so sorry for good people that are working hard for support there families and going through this
He’s right, it’s all about the money w/ these leaders. And why is this always reactive & not proactive?!
Welp, that business owner said it correctly. N tbh the money thing is really about who's got way more to sway the provider vs those trying to reach that level. Centerpoint is n has become a sell out to the highest bidder. Jsy not really surprised by it. Only amazed it took this long for fellow Houstonians to realize how they're really running their services. Houston we maybe a welcoming city but shouldn't let that be grounds to be pushed over like a stranger.
Be sure to support your local small businesses when the power comes back they desperately need it.
I've been out of work for a week my paycheck is going to be super weak hopefully I can cover groceries next week
CEO made 38 million last year 🤬🤬🤬
He said what we all was feeling. Yep it's money. Those linemen know THEIR worth just pay those linemen get us all power
I hope they don't make us pay high electric bills because they can't handle a crisis. 😢
Ok I'm with ya'll but this business owner should've had a big ass generator at his place 😢
why would they even throw it out? have a giant cookout or have a community cookout so you dont waste thousands of dollars of food. they had 12-36 hours before food they had in walk in fridges wouldve went bad.
@@sicklygazelle He may not be able to claim it as a loss if he used it.
I would recommend every business in Texas just use generators all of the time. What could be wrong with that? They don’t give out any emissions or anything, right?
I agree especially during the time frame of June 1st - November 30th which is Hurricane Season.
@@whimsicalhamster88gas generators do give out emissions. And electric generators that are fueled by the Sun don't always work if it's not a sunny day
You can’t say you want the federal government less involved and then say the issues we are having now are because of the president. Make it make sense
It is a convention so he is losing alotta money. I cant imagine throwing all that out food on a business level im hurt throwing away food on a resident level. This is heartbreaking
Bro I’m mad half of my subdivision has power other half don’t . Since Tuesday ! Day 5 of no power
